oooo - how exciting another item with a bid - so 4 things will definitely sell (out of the 34 listed hehe) up to a whopping £3.96

tortoise · 10/11/2008 20:22

I have 2 items with one bid on each.
Well, it's a good start! lol!

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 10/11/2008 21:03

hey tortoise - those NafNaf trousers - are they a "long" 7-8 or a short 7-8????

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 10/11/2008 21:05

omg tortoise - some of your boys clothes are FABULOUS.............I'm actually about to BIN one of your items - but you can wait to post it out in case I bid on a few other bits and win them.......

tortoise · 10/11/2008 21:28

Thanks
The trousers have approx 20 inch inside leg (Used a ruler, one of the little buggers darlings has stolen me tape measure)!
More boys bits to list i think.

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 10/11/2008 21:30

shall get my ruler (have also lost the tape measure hehe) out tomorrow and measure DS1's inside leg.

I'm keeping a very careful watch on that racing top you have - DS1 would go absolutely wild with excitement at a top like that !!

Mine hardly wore it. They just don't really wear long sleeve tops. Such a lovely top too.

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 10/11/2008 21:37

its a gorgeous top - and my DS1 is a car fanatic - if it's got 4 wheels and is on the TV he's glued, over 1/2 of this PS2 games are racing related (quite a few of them rally ones too) and I would safely guess that 75% of the toys in this house (and we have far too many) have 4 wheels!!!

tortoise · 10/11/2008 21:52

So what sizes are you looking for? I can sort out any and takes pics if you like? Would save messing around listing them!

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 10/11/2008 21:55

well DS1 is 8, DS2 is almost 5 - but quite comfortably fits into most 4/5/6 tops. Trousers he's firmly in size 5. DS1 trousers - well it seems to vary - most 7/8yr stuff fits him ok.

Anything really - that green top i've just bought may not fit DS2 just yet - but I'll stick it in his drawer until it does (I quite often buy stuff that's between sizes for any of them if I like it so it's there when they need it .

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 10/11/2008 21:56

oh to shorten my last waffly post - any size as at some point or other one of my DS's is going to fit in it

tortoise · 10/11/2008 21:58

I will sort out the piles of stuff and photo graph them tomorrow. Have mostly 7-8 or 5-6.

AND My Paul McKenna book just sold on a BIN

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 10/11/2008 22:00

thanks

don't have any money until Thursday so you'll have to wait until then if (or should that be when - based on the stuff you've currently got on ebay ) I decide to buy stuff.

tortoise · 10/11/2008 22:02

No probs.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 10/11/2008 22:04

I have made £600 in last 12 months.Mainly kids clothes
but now selling has changed not getting as many hits

Housemum · 10/11/2008 23:32

Tortoise - how much did your McKenna go for? Mine was £2.50 - just doing my parcels now! Out of my 26 items, 4 didn't sell. Total £133 selling prices - not bad considering there was only 1 "expensive" item ie a £30 camera. Add that to the £110 from NCT sale and £100 profit on some Russell Brand tickets a couple of weeks back, and I'm there - yippee!!

cheesesarnie · 10/11/2008 23:52

i want to join you all but doubt i can do it.ive put some stuff on tonight, loads more to stick on.

guyFAwkesreQuiem · 11/11/2008 11:32

well I've been to town this morning and posted the 3 last bits that I sold last week.

And have come back to find 7 out of my 34 items with bids now still 1 or 2 days to run on them all so still room for me - nearly to double figures with the amount of £ that will sell.

cheesesarnie · 11/11/2008 11:44

so people are actually buying on ebay atm?
i dont want to waste my time putting loads on if stuf isnt going well(or at all).ive got mostly books and adults/childrens clothes.
