I'm getting back into my eBaying, massive clear outs will keep me busy over this free listings weekend, wondered if anyone wanted to join me in making Christmas as cheap as possible and having the good people of eBay pay for most of it!

OP posts:
dizzyday07 · 08/10/2012 11:45

I think I may put some outgrown uniform on hoping that kids have grown since the summer!

Bongaloo · 09/10/2012 14:06

8 items with bids running out tonight

  • I'm quite enjoying myself.

I wish Ebay would hurry up and take their £20 odd though

  • it'd be good if their money came out as and when like the Paypal really.
fergoose · 09/10/2012 14:08

If you go into your account then seller account you can pay the invoice - just select 'make a one time payment'.

Bongaloo · 09/10/2012 16:31

Ah. Thanks fergoose
That's great

HiccupHaddockHorrendous · 11/10/2012 17:28

How's everyone doing?

I sold another BIN item but, annoyingly, underestimated postage on two items.

Even though it costs quite a bit more to list fixed price, I think I'm going to continue listing this way for a while.

Any mention of a FL weekend?

I need to try and get rid of the damn buggy again Sad

PixieHot · 11/10/2012 19:54

Hi all, can I join? I don't think that I'll make £300 by Christmas, but I might make £100 or so. I've just listed some clothes for 10 days, hopefully they'll all sell Smile.

I've pretty much only sold clothes and shoes before, but I should go through my cupboards and sell some other things that aren't nailed down used.

kekouan · 11/10/2012 20:01

Right. Just got a load more stuff - boys clothes mostly - on tonight on a 10 day listing - last batch wasn't very successful and the person who bought the car seat messed me around with collection so ended up relisting. Sigh.

Anyway, my listings here: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/kekouans

It seems very quiet this week on eBay. I have 7 things listed ATM, only 2 bids.

They all end on Sunday evening, so I'm hoping for a final flurry of activity!

I'm holding on a bit longer for the snow suits and coats that I have to go on.

I'm not optimistic that I'll reach the £300 target, but everything that sells gives a few more £'s and a bit more space!

dizzyday07 · 11/10/2012 21:20

I only have 2 things listed at the minute and one of those - a pair of Minnie Mouse ears on a headband - has 20 watchers Shock

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 11/10/2012 21:29

Hope they start bidding!

kekouan · 12/10/2012 08:09

Oooh I have 2 bids! Two! of 99p. Confused

OK, I know it's early days, but yes - it does seem quiet!

PurpleFrog · 12/10/2012 09:09

Free listing this weekend! Usual conditions apply.

Needless to say, despite my promises in the summer, I have nothing new prepared and ready to sell! I have an NCT sale in just over 2 weeks, so it is my last chance to try some toys and clothes before that. Looks like I am going to have a busy weekend!

dizzyday07 · 12/10/2012 09:46

I too am unprapared as always. Will try and get some listing written up today to launch at the weekend

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 12/10/2012 12:50

I'm hoping that lots of people will get tempted into bidding as they list their items!

MrsKwaHaHaHaAzii · 12/10/2012 13:13

Ah brilliant, have a few bits lined up for free listing. I'm also very pleased to have reached the £300 target with my Ebay sales and Nearly New Sale income from a few weeks ago. Am very chuffed Grin Hoping to keep the money coming in up until Christmas - and make some space for at least a few weeks before it all get filled back up again!

BabylonPI · 12/10/2012 16:17

I've sorted out another ton of crap a few more bits to list over the weekend Grin

Iggly · 12/10/2012 17:17

I'm checking back in after signing up earlier. Now on a mere £65 although that was from three items. One only got 99p as I stupidly forgot to schedule the auction to end on a Sunday evening. Idiot.

lljkk · 12/10/2012 19:06

I literally have close to 100 listings ready to put up, I was about to be well peeved if it wasn't a FLW! I have about 50 items ready to go once I've cleared some of the > 99p stock. Sadly? am beginning to think like a shopkeeper.

BabylonPI · 13/10/2012 08:25

I've got a dress listed at the moment - it's a new look LBD and it's been listed numerous times in the last 12 months - but I've now got people fighting over it!

It's currently at £3.20 but there's 42 watchers - I won't have paid more than a tenner for it and it's as old as the ark Blush but still in good conditionprobably down to the fact it's a sz10 and I haven't been a sz10 for quite some time now

Got some more stuff ending tonight, my Lalaloopsy Tree house is on £24.00 and you can buy it for £26.00 in Argos!

One bidder actually emailed me to complain that she had been out bid and that is was nearly the same price as Argos!

I have found stuff to be going to silly prices at the moment. Old dvds have been flying out, especially Disney Princess ones - dig them out of you have any!

Disney Princess toys, polly pockets ect have be going really well too.

Also Moshi Monsters Moshlings, the dds don't play with them so i sold in bundles of 14, they went for £13.00 each.

Have a dolls house listed to end next weekend and it has 67 watchers already - fingers crossed!

FreddieMercuryforQueen · 14/10/2012 12:32

Coming back to this after a while (name changed from OP) and have a few more items good to go. One got a bid about 30 seconds after listing!

LineRunner · 14/10/2012 14:18

I joined ebaY in June this year, and along with a few Gumtree sales I now have about £430 in net profit. And some more space in the house! Smile

There have been a few stresses and strains, but I am really pleased to have such a decent 'Christmas pot'.

I need to list some more things but it's such a bloody fag.

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 14/10/2012 15:56

I'm on £590 at the moment!

TeWiDoesTheHulaInHawaii · 14/10/2012 17:40

Anyone trying to list today?

I can't get any photos to load!
