baabi - definitely don't post until the echeque has cleared, they can bounce and be reversed. You'll get an email from PayPal to tell you once it's cleared and that's the earliest you should post it. I'd also message the buyer to confirm that you won't be posting the item until it's cleared.

Tortoise - we also suffered with lower DSR's when we said we'd post within 4 days - as soon as we changed to 2/3 days they improved dramatically.

DinosaursHateUnderpants · 10/06/2011 11:23

Vix - go to your ebay summary page, bottom right under Listing Offers will tell you how many free auction listings you've used and have left for the current month.

DinosaursHateUnderpants · 10/06/2011 11:59

Listed a few more things this week - collection of random items is here

baabi · 10/06/2011 12:17

Vix we can not see your listings, your link only takes us the the log in page which in turns takes to my own pages!

JarethTheGoblinKing · 10/06/2011 12:46

Oh I'll definitely join in, I've got another run of things to sell.

Just some peppa pig items at the moment, but I'm selling some tents in a couple of weeks, so that should boost things a bit :)

moomoo1967 · 10/06/2011 14:44

Hi, all
I have sold 41 items so far over the past two weeks and have 7 items finishing tonight that have bids on Smile just not looking forward to all the wrapping up

DinosaursHateUnderpants · 10/06/2011 17:27

Does anyone else have an educated guess at the number of items they will sell each week, based on number of watchers and bidders? I'm getting pretty good at it now.

So my prediction for sales ending this weekend is 25 items. I know by now that if I don't have at least 1 watcher in the last 12 hours it's unlikely (though not impossible) to sell.

Vix1980 · 10/06/2011 19:30

Hi, i think this link may be better then - ebay stuff!

Vix1980 · 10/06/2011 19:32

Thanks dinosaurs - still cant see it but will have a proper look round on it later

Vix1980 · 10/06/2011 19:47

Oh i really cant remember what i copied last time i did it so here is another one too! feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=songbirdoriginals&ftab=AllFeedback

roosterroo · 11/06/2011 15:10

Smile

SNOWBall4girlz · 11/06/2011 17:52

well I am still trying
averaging about 20 -30 £ a week but tried to take advantage of the free listing and still have not edited all my listings

got some stuff ending its here

good luck everyone

love the peppa pig stuff btw :)

moomoo1967 · 11/06/2011 22:21

hi everyone well it was the Post office for me this morning. £46 postage later for the 20 items that have sold over the last week :(

moomoo1967 · 11/06/2011 22:23

I thought that someone mentioned a way to check out how many free listings you have left for the rest of the month. Tried it, looked for Listing offers but unless I am being rather slow at this time of night I couldn't see it.

DinosaursHateUnderpants · 12/06/2011 02:45

Moomoo - you need to go to the front page which is My ebay > Summary Page - bottom right-hand side - Listing Offers

JarethTheGoblinKing · 12/06/2011 03:40

Oh would someone bid the lowest on the PP stuff for me? I know it's bad form but I've got 16 watchers and no bids.. they need a boot Wink

allthefires · 12/06/2011 07:48

Well the buggy has finally arrived. I do like it but it's massive. May be sold on again!

Got a ton of auctions ending tonight. Had some really daft questions like will you accept a bin of £50 on this item. Starting price was £49.99 on a auction so not worth the faff of relishing and fees. Plus it has 6 watchers.

Does anyone know if I can change my username? It's too similar to my email address and easily identifies me.

moomoo1967 · 13/06/2011 12:00

Dinosaur, thats what I did and couldn't find it. Mind you it was late so I shall try again once I get home as I cannot access Ebay at work.

moomoo1967 · 13/06/2011 12:06

I am gobsmacked that I sold 21 more items yesterday ! so I shall be spending a good couple of hours wrapping them tonight then back to the post office tomorrow.
Does anyone have an idea when the next free listing weekend will be. I know that last two were 21/22nd May and 4/5th June. someone on another forum thought it may not be until 4th July ?

moomoo1967 · 13/06/2011 12:07

Also something I have noticed on a few of my listings : If I list an item at 99p, and it has two bids on but is still at 99p how can that be. Surely if it has two bids on it, it would be more than 99p

Tortoise · 13/06/2011 12:12

moomoo well done on your sales. The 2 bids at 99p will be the same buyer upping their bid.

I still haven't managed to get around to listing anything.

OP posts:
moomoo1967 · 13/06/2011 12:42

Tortoise, the current price though is for 99p so if it started off at 99p but there have been two bids surely the price would be more than 99p which is the start bid ? Or am I being totally thick lol
And thanks like I said I am amazed, and I still have 6 more huge huge bags to list. Just think of the money if you get it all listed Smile

JarethTheGoblinKing · 13/06/2011 12:47

If someone places a bid at 99p to start off with, and then puts in a second bid with their maximum it will still show 99p until someone else puts in a bid, then it'll go up. Good sign though :)

moomoo1967 · 13/06/2011 12:55

Thanks lol I thought I was going mad

Tortoise · 13/06/2011 13:22

As jareth said! Grin
Can also be off putting to bidders! Means someone else is keen on the item. Keen enough to up their bid.
