My cycle has been weird this month too. I swear my ovulation date is more regular than my period. Last month af was a couple days late (mega work stress) ov'd early. This month af was 2 days early. Let's see when I ov'd. In my 2 previous pregnancies we only dtd in the couple of days after af finished which is barely into my fertile window. I'd tried with a previous partner very much on my ov days and never got pg. I'm worried if we do iui once I ov that might be too late. Is that silly?

Also shoes def want to hear about it! X

pez it's still early. But if it is negative I'm glad you have everything ready to jump right back in.

I'm doing ok. Had a big crying jag last night. I've had a lot of sad cases at work lately with a lot of euthanasia and it is getting me down. Missing my own dogs greatly. Also not feeling good but feel like a lot of it is stress related. Just want to know that everything is ok in there. I've been reading way too much about blighted ovums. Need to stop that. Scan is in 10 days, next Friday. Wish I could blink and have it done already.

So spoken to nurses they said "well u have been under a lot of stress" (linking to the tears on Friday re donor) but that rather than waiting till April cycle I can start pill on this cycle from Friday but to call them when AF starts but can be later than cd 2 -phew! Getting grumpy so that's usually a sign things are on there way! Fingers crossed

if only we could swap positions pickle and have the witch visiting you instead of me this month you've got tea and biscuits ready for her while I'm barricading myself so she doesn't come!

Still cramping and lower back pain. And now the magic potion isn't being shipped until tomorrow (so should receive Thursday)

I know that goodness I haven't had treatment as I would be getting so excited right now!
Still no sign down below 😫 I thought after I'd sorted out pill business I'd be sorted

Phœnix, if you're concerned you ovulate very close to a positive opk, then you can lie to the clinic on the time you got your + so you can get the little swimmers put in there earlier. They might or might not do bloodwork to check... if I remember well karen did tell a white lie to get her IUI done at the time she wanted 😊

I'm still cramping and feeling rubbish, I normally only get stronger cramps a couple of hours before AF but my body is playing tricks on me this month. Nurse called to confirm appointment for tomorrow and I don't think I'll bother to poas tomorrow morning.

I know very stupid bodies!!!!!!

Well I'm on day 2 of diet-going well so far. Not being silly or cutting out fat(other than cooking all fresh rather than processed stuff)but just lower calories,still having a little chocolate but need to loose 10kg ideally but I'd be happy with an least a stone (sure when I go on meds I'll pile it on as well so need to be good girl even if rest of body isn't behaving

Hope ur leg is feeling a bit better kwick & same with ur bum shoes

Kinda in shock. I've been dizzy so I went to the doctor. He ordered an early u/s to rule out ectopic.

Two sacs. One with a heartbeat, not sure about the other. It had a yolk sac. May be too early. Huh. I don't even know what to think. Single parent with two? Feeling very overwhelmed.

Pickle how come you're aching?

Pez it is hard, such an emotionally demanding process. It's still early, maybe you will be surprised amongst your IVF preparations, but if not you've got a plan.

Work mostly always bending in funny positions and we need a new office chair so current chair isn't supporting my back but I'm hypermobile so body does too much without knowing it's limit & then before I know it boom I'm in lots of pain...plus I've got a lump over the bone in the palm of my hand. Got a physio appointment at the end of the month to look into that in more detail.

Hope no AF for you my little pez

Leg loads better - rest of body aching from exertions with crutches. Saw GP - has given me a fit note to not travel for a week. Will go back if need to but I reckon if I only need one crutch then I can manage a suitcase
BTW my test results are in - need to make an appointment with consultant. Have not done so - need to be more mobile to get to clinic plus taking ostrich approach, cannot handle any more bad news right now

Yeh I'm trying to reduce sugary stuff as just makes me wanna binge eat.... had chicken sausages and mash today with a tunnocks tea cake as my treat 😋

karen You will do great with whatever you have. Parents of twins usually have no idea if it's harder or not because they don't know anything else. You will just get on with it & there are great support groups. DD was at school with a woman who got pg in her late 40s from a dating situ & he buggered off. In some ways I was envious of how her girls played & entertained each other so she could get stuff done. I always had that role with DD. You will be great no matter what. When's your next scan?

Pickle Hooray for AF! I have some weight to lose too. I've been doing the hormone reset diet & really impressed with it. I've not struggled with it all that much (thought I would with caffeine & sugar) and I feel amazing. So much more energy! Lost 5lbs in the first week (not weighed from the 2nd week yet) but lost 11.5 inches in 2 weeks (most from my waist/belly). I started it because I was worried I was peri-menopausal but even though AMH confirmed I'm not, I'm so glad I've done it!
