kwick what an absolute sh*tter of a day! I'm sorry for all of that!

Thank you all for your kind vibes and thoughts. I'm just back from acupuncture and feeling very zen.

At some point I need to get back up and fry some fish for dinner....

But first need to decide what fun movie to watch!

witch yep the two best ones are in, no frosties. All eggs in one basket pun intended....

pickle162 · 13/03/2017 19:20

Bridesmaids would be my suggestion stork for a funny movie, that film never fails to crack me up.

I'm still hoping for AF to make an appearance, it has got to be the vit d/folic acid supplements never had a 32+ day in my life and not stressed in the slightest....wake up everyday and think jeez how is it not here yet 🙄

Pez82 · 13/03/2017 19:44

Kwick, this would never have happened in Sath London 😆😆 (sorry, it was too tempting!). Seriously, what life throws at us sometimes!! Hope the leg gets better soon and that you get some broadband back!!!

Pickle, I think vitamins and stress can delay ovulation but once you have ovulated it is hard to disturb the luteal phase - this is what I've read. You have probably ovulated a bit later than you thought. Are you past O day + 14 days? What about your temps, still up?

CherryBlossom100 · 13/03/2017 19:51

Congrats Hoping, crossing everything for you. Same for you Stork. I hope you feel better soon Kwick.
Don't stress Pickle. Sometimes our bodies just act up to stress us. I was 7 days late last month and I think mine was because I changed vitamins. Am now only on vit d and folic acid.

pickle162 · 13/03/2017 19:58

Pez temp still up, little bit less than yesterday but last month gradually went down as af progressed so least it wasn't higher
On 13days post ov but usually(!!) LH surge day 14 and 26/27 day cycle so luteal phase usually quite short. My only positive in this is that luteal phase is longer which is better than short. Want to speak to nurses about pill and whether if this is late if it's going to screw up taking the pill and my appointments that are already booked, appointment is on Friday so not
Long to wait

kwick · 13/03/2017 20:15

@StorkAhoy my choice would be Hitch - gets me every time!

pez maybe I should move to the sath... but I am not sure where I put my passport Wink

pickle it knows you are watching...

I know the little bugger!!! I've even tried the white knicker trick like you kwick. Too scared at work tho as sometimes I don't go to the loo for 9 hours so don't want any disasters at workBlush

INeedNewShoes · 13/03/2017 21:00

Argh! Kwick - 4–6 weeks. Let's hope it doesn't take that long. I hope you haven't got much traveling coming up, and I hope you get your internet connection back asap!

I'm not sure how I pulled the muscle. I didn't notice it happen; the pain has just got steadily worse over the past week (which does make me suspect that it might not be a pulled muscle and could be the start of pelvic girdle pain, which I most definitely do not want!).

Pickle - sounds like a good plan to chat to your clinic about this month's disobedient cycle!

kwick · 13/03/2017 21:11

shoes ah the joys of pregnancy... still very jealous though 💕

Have trips a-go-go - should be Amsterdam on Weds pm - Fri; then Brussels next week and Paris I think... hoping heal will be magically better tomorrow and internet working!

Strongest BFP I've ever seen Hoping admittedly all my previous experience is Mumsnet related. Congratulations and fingers crossed for a sticky one.

INeedNewShoes · 13/03/2017 21:44

Oh I know Kwick - that's why I haven't been whingeing about my various woes on this thread. You'll all be rolling your eyes at me Wink and I would feel awful if I were to upset anyone by talking about my pregnancy woes. One good thing about the slightly tumultuous journey getting to this point is that however rough I'm feeling I feel grateful every day to be at this point Smile

tygr - you made me chuckle on another thread today, but I've read a few threads this evening and I can't remember which one it was! Anyway, you raised a smile from me after a long day with your witticism!

Latenightreader · 13/03/2017 22:03

Has anyone else had a reaction to cerotide injections? I gave myself the first one today and came up in a large itchy lump which was bright red for a few hours. It has now faded but still feels strange if I touch it - like a mosquito bite. I'm going to ring the clinic in the morning to see if this is the side effect described in the leaflet, and whether an antihistamine would help. It's a fiddly enough injection as it is, without worrying about this happening again! Also concerned I may have done something wrong...

witchmountain · 13/03/2017 22:28

Late I think I had something similar with cetrotide. It pretty much went away by the next day if I remember rightly. I put it down to the bigger needle and whatever was in the meds. I can't remember now if I had the same thing after the injection the following day. For some reason it didn't occur to me to phone the clinic!

StorkAhoy · 13/03/2017 22:31

Don't worry late that happened to me with my buserelin and Cetrotide! It's a normal reaction. It will go, if it doesn't call your emergency nurses number at the clinic.

shoes never ever feel bad about sharing your woes! Xx

StorkAhoy · 13/03/2017 22:34

From google:

"Cetrotide (cetrorelix acetate) blocks the hormone (gonadotropin-releasing hormone-GnRH) that causes eggs to be released from the ovaries and is used to prevent premature ovulation during controlled ovarian stimulation. Common side effects include:

nausea, headache, and injection site reactions (pain, bruising, redness, swelling, itching)."

witchmountain · 13/03/2017 22:34

Kwick not sure how crutches and carrying a bag is going to work? Confused (veteran of job that involved travel - I took a lot of time off with a broken wrist as much because travel was totally impractical as because using a laptop was almost impossible)

witchmountain · 13/03/2017 22:35

Yeah, mine itched - that sounds spot on Stork. Didn't get it with orgalutran which is what I had the first time.

HopingForALittleOne · 14/03/2017 00:49

kwick what a day! And your week sounds as busy as always! Are your work still looking for another role for you? I would be exhausted doing the amount of travelling you do!

I've been having tentative theoretical conversations with my boss about moving back up north and doing job from up here. She has been very receptive to idea over the last few months. Might try and make these conversations more concrete with plans now.

No beta tests for those who have asked. I have a viability scan booked for 4th April.

I think LWC is definitely no frills for a high price but I'm ok with that. I think I would just worry getting more tests and waiting for results, my line looks fairly good so unless I bleed or get cramps again I'm trying to reignite the pma.

pez how's it going? I think you were a few days behind me- have you still managed to hold out from testing? Xx

kwick · 14/03/2017 06:17

shoes but sharing is caring. I love hearing about how you and littleshoes are doing.

witch I am having nightmares (as I can tell work are pissed off) about not being able to travel but just going to the toilet this morning was a trial... I think I will try and see my GP and get a fit note so at least I am covered in that respect.

hoping will keep my 🤞🏼for you!

Right going to try and sleep some more...

pickle162 · 14/03/2017 06:29

Agreed, want to hear about shoes and littleshoes you lot are the ones I get so excited about being pregnant- nice to hear what'll hopefully be heading our way :)

Latenightreader · 14/03/2017 07:03

That's what it says on the leaflet Stork. Apparently one in ten get it!

Pez82 · 14/03/2017 07:33

Hi all,
I tested this morning on 11dpiui and nothing... I'm getting cramps like AF is on its way so now my fear is that she turns up before my nurse appointment (and it would also mean a 10 day luteal phase which is way too short for me - I'm always 13, and rarely 12). I know my normal HCG levels are low (

pickle162 · 14/03/2017 07:55

Think I'm going to try and speak to the nurse today- I'm meant to start taking pill in 3weeks (which should have been day 2 of next cycle!!!!) need to know whether this is still possible or best to start cd2 of this cycle and just take for 6 weeks. Brain is going to explode! I can't change my dates AGAIN at work. Sorry I know I keep going ONNNNNNN about this.

Ah pez that sucks but still early days

Pez82 · 14/03/2017 08:19

It's so hard that our bodies have got their own minds isn't?
I'm sure they can tweak your treatment to make it work Pickle but yeah you should talk to them today. I was soooo regular before starting all this 😬😬

Bear1980 · 14/03/2017 08:49

My cycle has been all over the place this month, missed or no ovulation and short cycle AF appeared on day 26 (normally day 28-30). I feel like focussing on it so much has thrown me out this month.
