pubic hair - a question

what do men like generally. do they care? I have tried most things including a Hollywood last year as a special treat for him... and now am bored and a bit tired of ingrowing hairs. Do men notice what is down there, quantity? whether it is trimmed or not, etc.. Obviously stray pubes outside bikini line not nice, I get that. my dh is very reticent about what he actually likes - I think he is scared of making any comments on my appearance in case I cry or shout! quite right. anyway, I wanted to canvas this one.

I think a landing strip is always best - hollywood a bit too much for DH and it's nice to have a tiny bit of hair there imo..

hope this helps

Mousie · 08/04/2008 21:32

but all the ingrowing hairs and the regrowth... i think it always looks great just done - but the in between bit is so not nice imho....

I think most men would be so joyful at the sight of a lady with no knickers on they wouldn't care if she had John Mcrewick mutton chops growing down her thighs.

Spagblog · 08/04/2008 21:35

My DH likes it bushier the better.
Unfortunately for him, I don't!

Furball · 08/04/2008 21:36

get some hair clippers and take the guard off and shear the lot off. nice and neat and not ingrowing hairs as it's not sort enough

Furball · 08/04/2008 21:37

sorry should've read nice and neat and no ingrowing hairs as it's not short enough

Judy1234 · 08/04/2008 22:11

Waxing is best but people vary in their tastes. I don't think you can generalise.

fireflytoo · 08/04/2008 22:18

I just cannot imagine getting it done.......

purplemoon · 08/04/2008 22:21

PMSL at Maidamess!!!

suwoo · 08/04/2008 22:29

I am interested in hearing the results of what the MEN actually think as this is a topic I am pesonally interested in. I go for a landing strip look as it seems to cover all angles

BarcodeZebra · 08/04/2008 22:34

Maidamess is funny but also right.

We don't care.

BarcodeZebra · 08/04/2008 22:35

BTW landing strip always makes me think of Hitler.

V off-putting.

zippitippitoes · 08/04/2008 22:35

bf voted for short if not gone on a practical level

Judy1234 · 09/04/2008 07:24

ff, I can give a detailed description if you like but not over breakfast.

However I do think aesthetically some hair looks better.

Threadworm · 09/04/2008 07:37

Lol at the Hitler remark. I'm more of a Karl Marx look.

Panino · 09/04/2008 08:07

How does a landing strip remind....Oh never mind, I really don't wish to know!!

Can't stand an over grown garden, when I get my roller out, is one clumsy way of expressing it.

and can't stand getting hair between my teeth......

Panino · 09/04/2008 08:11

and maidamess is funny but wrong. Knickerless is just not enough - I demand a little topiary too.

stuffitllama · 09/04/2008 08:12

would love to join in this but if I canvas my dh he'll ask what i'm doing on mn at breakfast time

but lurking

OverMyDeadBody · 09/04/2008 08:13

lol at Panino!

Anna8888 · 09/04/2008 08:14

Waxing is best.

To avoid ingrowing hairs, take a bath (not shower) every day and scrub gently at the waxed areas with a moisturising shower gel (Dove or J&J is fine) and a friction mitt. Rinse with shower.

maidamess · 09/04/2008 08:19

whats wrong with this, eh?

SirDigbyChickenCaesar · 09/04/2008 08:20

PMSL @ "John Mcrewick mutton chops"...DH doesn't seem to mind!

SirDigbyChickenCaesar · 09/04/2008 08:21

shit! you go topless in ONE picture and...oh wait...that's not me. Phew!

Anna8888 · 09/04/2008 08:21

LOL maidamess.

Unkempt pubic hair reminds me of unkempt beards.

maidamess · 09/04/2008 08:24

Panino, do you trim yours into fancy shapes?
