Feminism

It's been interesting reading the threads in the Feminism section over the last few days.

What does anyone think would happen if there was a feminist government?

And what if there was a radical feminist government?

I'm interested to know what changes would be made.

Obviously anyone can answer this, but as a man I thought I'd best put it in Dadsnet.

any way WTF are all these women doing disturbing the lazy tranquility of Dadsnet, eh? I said EH?

MiseryPlop · 11/05/2012 15:47

And pavements will be replaced with cattle-grids to discourage the wearing of high heels, of course.

SigmundFraude · 11/05/2012 15:47

'privilege as a concept'

Bollocks, feminist explanations of privilege in the main has nothing to do with privilege. Let's talk about entitlement. There is NO-ONE more entitled than your average middle class feminist.

D'you know what? I hope there IS a radical feminist government, seriously, I genuinely do. Then, at least, people will wake the fuck up.

Pan - good point!

That other thread you started generated hundreds of posts and this looks like being a runner too. What is going on?

I like to come back months later to Dadsnet and catch up on a thread that's barely moved. Now its attracted far too many assertive opinionated women all far exciting for my liking.

MrGin · 11/05/2012 15:56

full moon ?

Huansagain · 11/05/2012 15:56

So mooncups and under-wired bras.

I think that could be easily sorted.

And the banning of pink, does that include the singer?

MmeLindor. · 11/05/2012 15:57

oh, hang on. Shaved heads and dungarees? No blue?

I am partial to a bit of blue.

Cardigans are fine but NO WATERFALL cardis.

Sigmund
Sorry, did I derail the thread with my suggestion? Treat it as you would getting lost in Ireland. Not a derailment but a pleasant detour.

MmeLindor. · 11/05/2012 15:58

oooooooooooh, MoreBeta. You flatterer.

I love being called assertive and opinionated.

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 11/05/2012 16:01

I like Pink. I've just bought a pink cardy I think we'll have to settle for all colours being allowed, but maybe a selection of gender neutral jumpers for all?

MrGin · 11/05/2012 16:01

I think I much prefer a derailment by fluffy fems

Pan · 11/05/2012 16:02

Mme: "I am partial to a bit of blue."

NedZeppelin · 11/05/2012 16:04

This thread has it all, rad fem 'discussions', fashion, PA's orangeyness and luv for kids....no need to thread jump at all this afternoon Smile

MrGin · 11/05/2012 16:07

Yay. Party in Dadsnet !

Spread the word.

MmeLindor. · 11/05/2012 16:08

Pan
oh, dear. Did I turn into my mother? Does that have a double meaning?

Mother, on being told the R Brooks/ Cameron text story said, "But I thought LOL meant lots of love".

MrGin · 11/05/2012 16:08

< starts preparing cheese cubes on cocktail sticks >

Pan · 11/05/2012 16:14

Mme - do I explain or are you being comedically obtuse?...

blue....nudge-nudge wink-wink, under the counter, sold in brown paper wrappings, not much a wardrobe budget needed, err...Grin

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 11/05/2012 16:21

can we have some little silverskin onions on those cheesy cubes?

MrGin · 11/05/2012 16:22

can we have some little silverskin onions on those cheesy cubes?

We aim to please in DadsNet < goes off to get onions >

MrGin · 11/05/2012 16:27

< kills thread with onions >

BelleDameSansMerci · 11/05/2012 16:28
DirtyMartini · 11/05/2012 16:31

Can we stick the cocktail-stick food into an upturned half-grapefruit, like a hedgehog?

MmeLindor. · 11/05/2012 16:38

ooooooh, a retro thread derailment. Nice.

Pan
you have a dirty mind. Blue is a colour. Innocent like the sky with fluffy clouds.

Portofino · 11/05/2012 18:14

I want to raise a hesitant voice against statutory dungaree wearing - not a good look with my arse.....

Huansagain · 11/05/2012 20:56

So no changes then?

Apart from Peter Andre being got rid of.
