It's been interesting reading the threads in the Feminism section over the last few days.

What does anyone think would happen if there was a feminist government?

And what if there was a radical feminist government?

I'm interested to know what changes would be made.

Obviously anyone can answer this, but as a man I thought I'd best put it in Dadsnet.

Snorbs..The fact that there are more men than women in a government makes not the slightest bit of difference to whether it's a feminist government or not.

On it's own then yes, it doesn't prove a particular government is unfeminist. But it's a bit of a hint.

It's quite entertaining when feminsts go on endlessly about men butting in and needing to have their voices heard (privilege yadda yadda). Sanjeev was apologising past himself for being a man for the crime of maybe, slightly, possibly derailing a thread.

I'm not sure you've quite grasped the nuances of privilege as a concept. Part of it is that no, it doesn't cut both ways :)

Probably, a radfem government would outlaw pink, and possibly blue, as colours. Dresses would be out and probably skirts too. There would probably be a bonfire in every town to burn bras and tights.

I'd go the whole hog personally and just make dungarees and tshirts the only permitted clothing for both sexes.
