What are your thoughts on the above?

I have looked in to it and watched/read a lot of things and can't help but think this is most likely true.

Although it's likely we will never know the truth.

@Awwwshutup, you seem to think you are the only person aware of child trafficking. Of course child trafficking goes on, far too much, no-one is is in any doubt about that. The point it that theories about children being trafficked using wardrobes simply don't stand up to any sort of scrutiny, are utterly idiotic, and distract from the reality of this extremely serious issue.

MyTearsAreOnFire · 19/07/2020 09:56

It’s silly conspiracies like these that actually downplay the real seriousness of child trafficking.

Can I send one back? I'm not sure it came from Wayfair but it certainly doesn't seem to be working properly. Makes quite a noise sometimes too. Grin

AHF1975 · 19/07/2020 11:03

I'm amazed that the people who lap up conspiracy theories seem completely blind to the idea that many of them are planted by rogue governments to discredit political movements/interfere in elections/make people suspicious of scientific and medical advice/generally destabilise states that they see as rivals. The Russian intelligence service has a unit that exists to do exactly this. You'd think that this sort of shit would be right up their street, but no, they fall for it hook, line and sinker and then have the temerity to go around calling everyone else 'sheeple'

SockYarn · 19/07/2020 13:58

Jeezo. There are people out there who actually believe this shit.

Charlieiscool · 19/07/2020 14:04

As conspiracy theories go, this one is hilariously batshit crazy.

longwayoff · 20/07/2020 10:26

For collectors, just heard one I hadn't heard before. "The government forcing us to wear masks is so that Sharia law can shortly be imposed on us. Did you know Bozo's grandfather was a Muslim". Bloody, bloody, bloody hell.

Pobblebonk · 20/07/2020 10:42

I must say, I have been wondering how all the people who get hysterical at burkas have been coping with the fact that we are now being told to cover our faces, so I suppose it was inevitable that it would become a conspiracy theory sooner or later. If I wear a mask and a sunhat so that only my eyes can be seen, is Boris going to moan on about letterboxes?

longwayoff · 20/07/2020 11:25

Ha @pebblebonk, have also been wondering how they could twist it from mask=bad to mask=good. So slinging a conspiracy at it gives them an out, I suppose: 'won't wear it, it will steal my soul'. Reminds me of the old travellers tales of people first encountering photography when the soul-stealing was a bit of a worry for them. Given the state of the bloody media today though, perhaps they had a point. Yes, Kardashians, I'm looking at you and your spawning minions.

blurpityblurp · 20/07/2020 14:58

Well, that’s pretty reasonable. The Conservative government has both historically and recently been known for its extreme warmth and tolerance towards the Muslim community.

SockYarn · 20/07/2020 15:05

It's almost as good as "the wires in disposable masks are 5G antennas".

blurpityblurp · 20/07/2020 15:11

How disappointing. I’ve been trying to pick up Radio 4 on mine.

ConstanceGracy · 15/06/2021 13:21

Wtf? My bil works for Wayfair and it really is furniture like any normal person would expect .
Christ on a bike..

ConstanceGracy · 15/06/2021 13:22

Sorry didn’t realise how old this was
