Not a great title but can't think of anything catching this time of the morning. Will figure out how to link to the old thread.

Found her last license. Her 'release' date from tag is Monday coming. I had my dates completely wrong. No sign of tag people for 3 days. No police coming to arrest her for breach of license or destruction of tag. Nothing.

How are you today @drinkswineoutofamug

drinkswineoutofamug · 15/07/2018 18:07

I'm revising for my English exam tomorrow and my maths exam on Wednesday . Shoot me now .
How are you doing lonely ? Heard off your sb? When your next visit planned?

OP posts:
Lonelystarbuckslover · 15/07/2018 19:28

Hopefully it is a bit of a distraction for you. Good luck.

SB rang my dad today. We are due to visit this week although not sure if that still goes ahead now his visits are reduced since he switched from remand to convicted. His mum saw him yesterday.

I'm feeling really shit because they are pulling up his medical records and I think they are going to mean a lengthier sentence and it was me who had pointed the soliticitor towards the medical records because we were worried with him being fragile in prison. the length of the sentence wouldn't be an issue if I felt he was going to get any proper support but the system won't do that.

Everything I hear about the system disillusioned me. He hasn't been getting my post and I haven't been getting his either.

drinkswineoutofamug · 15/07/2018 20:52

Surely though he's pleaded he's still on remand until the actual sentence?
Do his medical records show any mental health issues. Not that it seems to go in anyone's favour these days.

Daughter has had her meds changed again.

Surely though he's pleaded he's still on remand until the actual sentence?

It's different, once he was convicted his remand became 'judges remand' (I think that's the name) and he will be treated as a convicted prisoner.

Lonelystarbuckslover · 15/07/2018 21:43

solicitor says now he has entered his plea, he is convicted so not on remand anymore.

Medical records will show CAMHS attendance but them doing fuck all because it's so under resourced and then once he left school, he ceased to be under their radar. He did go to the doctors to try and get help with anger management and depression but no support kicked in til it was too late. But it doesn't show anything specific.

Why have meds been changed? Do you anticipate problems?

drinkswineoutofamug · 16/07/2018 07:42

Thanks for clearing that up Andro , I thought he would still be on remand. I've only been through the remand straight to sentence, missed out the awaiting sentence bit.

lonely we always had issues with camhs. It's not all their fault though. Yet again it's cuts in funding. Only yesterday there was a report I found about children with mh issues being looked after on adult wards due to lack of bed. The waiting list time is shocking as well , 18 months where I live. The government cuts have caused the system to fail.

She been put on Prozac . Was on sertraline (sorry can never spell it) but was having hallucinations and weird dreams. She's been referred back to the mh team as she's not heard from them since March.
I'm gathering the tag box people come for the box tonight as her license is up.

Lonelystarbuckslover · 16/07/2018 10:03

Oh god I know it's not CAHMS fault. It's so over stretched, cuts only made it worse. My nephew is also under CAHMS and things aren't changing. Mental health support generally is lacking; even worse for young people and it's a ticking time bomb surely.

I've had sertraline myself but never Prozac. Hope DD adjusts to it. My DB is currently on it.

Hope revision & exams are going ok

drinkswineoutofamug · 16/07/2018 12:49

Just done my English exam . Maths on Wednesday

Good luck drinks x

drinkswineoutofamug · 16/07/2018 19:06

Managed to speak to her probation worker today. As her license is up today , no recall. As her license is up to no charges of interference with the tag. Nothing she gets away with it. He's fuming. I'm fuming. So she served 6 weeks in a fucking holiday camp🤬

OP posts:
Lonelystarbuckslover · 16/07/2018 20:22

Oh dear. I'm sorry she won't learn any consequences of this.

My DB called today, it was nice to hear his voice. All my letters arrived at once. He says he's been down although it's hard to tell when on the phone to him how he really is because his mood improves when he's speaking with one of us.

drinkswineoutofamug · 17/07/2018 08:28

Well done me!!
I got confirmation that I have passed my 2nd yr of my degree. 🙂
This is despite going through all the crap with daughter, and going through a work force review and loosing my job.
Did it with a 71 which is a B or a 2nd so I'm well chuffed.

Lonelystarbuckslover · 18/07/2018 20:45

Hope maths exam went ok Drinks

drinkswineoutofamug · 18/07/2018 23:15

As well as it could lonely, I can now say I don't care how many bricks it takes to build a wall or does the silo contain enough cement using some very strange equations. Never want to see another pie chart either. Hopefully get both results pretty soon.

Hows everyone else?

drinkswineoutofamug · 19/07/2018 11:11

Drinks, congratulations on your exams. You truly are a warrior.

I've just read that your daughter has had her meds reviewed. No recall. No charges for Tag tamper.

So what's happening with her now?

drinkswineoutofamug · 22/07/2018 13:43

Don't Mc she's been AWOL since Thursday morning when her dad dropped her off at the doctors.
She needs to go probation but won't answer the phone to them. I've told them to text her🤷🏻‍♀️

Failed my maths retake tomorrow, 3rd time lucky perhaps

OP posts:
Mc180768 · 22/07/2018 13:53

Hum. The little sod.

I hope you get through this time. Fingers crossed.

I take it she's not hooked into the local women's centre? Is she on a treatment pathway with local substance misuse provider?

drinkswineoutofamug · 22/07/2018 22:20

Tbh I don't know what she's doing as she tells me nothing and has been to probation once since she was released.

OP posts:
drinkswineoutofamug · 24/07/2018 16:39

It was 3rd time lucky. Passed my maths 84%

OP posts:
Mc180768 · 24/07/2018 16:52

Congratulations, Drinks. That's pretty smart going.
