Will be brief, daughter due to be sent down. Any one have a clue what to pack? Do we pack a bag? I've looked on line and it's a bit vague . Any help greatly appreciated.

No advice re what to take in but wanted to wish you and your daughter all the best. A friend of my bil has just come out of prison for doing one stupid thing. He got his head down, did his time and has come out and got his life back on track. I very much wish the same for your dd.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 19/01/2017 16:21

I saw this thread this morning, and my heart went out to you then. I hope that all goes well for your dd and for you - hopefully it will give her the treatment and fresh start she needs.

Have you got friends nearby, to support you? If not, it sounds as if you have got support and friendship on here. {{{hugs}}}

paddypants13 · 19/01/2017 16:23

Oh, op I have just read your updates. Flowers for you and well done for standing by her, she's lucky to have you. x

drinkswineoutofamug · 19/01/2017 16:24

I've got a good network of friends. Then I found you lot too!
It will be ok. Shit there's some poor soul out there going through worse today.

I have had some lovely people sending me messages with links and I've spoken to her PA .
What a fuck up.

I want to thank every single one of you for your lovely kind messages. No body has judged me. That was a worry. Still waiting to see if she calls.

OP what a lousy day for you. What has happened with your daughter is absolutely no reflection on you. Please be kind to yourself x

DearMrDilkington · 19/01/2017 17:37

How long did she get? Hopefully this will be a huge wake up call for her and she'll come out with a new outlook on life.

i have a feeling i know you from another forum too, probs with ss?

drinkswineoutofamug · 19/01/2017 17:42

Yes I was on another forum. Been rumbled! Grin
She's been remanded for 1 week, court again 26th . We doubt she will get bail so looks like in reality she will be held until 7th march for sentencing. She had court 2nd Feb which is the original reason I was asking about what was needed so we could prepare in advance as I knew , felt it in my waters that this would happen.
Just worrying that fuck wit will turn up at court . I will flip if she's there.

Wishing you and your daughter well drinks Look after yourself in all this the strain you must be under will be awful.

Manumission · 19/01/2017 17:45

You mean turns up looking all lovelorn and star-crossed lover?

If she turns up, at least it makes it plain that it's six of one, half a dozen of the other as far as breaking the bail goes.

drinkswineoutofamug · 19/01/2017 17:45

Right I'm mixing myself up. She had a court date 7th march . But had, yesterday been given another court date for a different matter for Feb. Due to her track record I knew she would be sent down. Mother was right.
So solicitor thinks that they will combine the 2 offences . Sorry if I'm not being clear my head is fucked up

I didn't want to read and not reply, but am out with the DCs so will come back later.

I can't be arsed to name change, but I'm pretty open about the fact I have served two prison sentences. One of 8 months and one of 12 months.

It's not as bad as you are imagining. She will be ok. She really will.

Xx Flowers

RacoonBandit · 19/01/2017 17:46

Ha ha rumbled Grin

I think its just your overwhelming support of your daughter that sticks with people. Well it was for me. I remember the stress 18 months ago with her running away and not taking her meds plus her violent relationship. You were/are so unyielding in your support for your DD.

catinbooots · 19/01/2017 17:46

Feel free to PM if you want to ask anything at all. Lots of good advice already on this thread.

sum1killthepawpatrollers · 19/01/2017 17:47

in that case noone has anything to judge you for! i read pretty much all your posts and you have done everything you possibly could.
yes its shit that its ended up this way but hopefully it will be the way for her to escape the GF clutches and turn her life around.
and hopefully, as wierd as this sounds but hoping ykwim, that you get are able to relax a bit as you will know where she is at all times

OllyBJolly · 19/01/2017 17:49

OP - you are an inspiration. If I was ever in your position I'd love to be able to show the same strength.

And it has been lovely to see the amount of support on here for a MNetter.

Flowers to all of you
