Will be brief, daughter due to be sent down. Any one have a clue what to pack? Do we pack a bag? I've looked on line and it's a bit vague . Any help greatly appreciated.

Hey Drinks. Just checking in. How’s things?

Fuckinell drinks she’s a real minx isn’t she?! Glad she’s home and safe for now.

I’ve lost track - when’s her next court appearance? Is she sticking to her rehab conditions?

drinkswineoutofamug · 03/11/2017 16:26

She’s made 2 batches of mince pies .
Next court date is the 22nd November . Don’t know if she’s keeping up with her rehab or probation. I’m sick of asking and being told what she wants me to hear, I know she’s lying to me. I won’t be surprised if she’s spending Christmas inside.

Hi drinks sorry I lost you. Thread fell off threads I'm on and I'd forgotten to watch it. I will sort that now!

Sounds like you are still managing despite it continuing to be difficult. I don't know where you find the strength? Flowers

drinkswineoutofamug · 03/11/2017 17:49

She’s baked and helped clean the house , why can’t she be like this all the time?

OP posts:
drinkswineoutofamug · 10/11/2017 08:42

Probation today, was meant to be yesterday ?
She needs to pull her socks up as it’s review at court on the 22nd November to see what she has actually complied with.

She’s back in court tomorrow. Those 6wks have gone fast and she’s done fuck all .

Flowers for you drinks.
I stumbled across your thread last night looking for support as my cousin has just gone to prison for 18 months and as a family we are struggling. I wanted to post to say teadimg about your experience has helped me so much and thankyou x

How is your DD? Is she at home with you? How are you feeling?

drinkswineoutofamug · 21/11/2017 20:54

Hi, I'm sorry to hear your going through a tough time. At the same time is good to know this thread has helped someone else too.
As it stands , she's not speaking to me. She was either on a bad trip or a shit come down today. Spaced out. Money has gone missing from my purse. She never went to probation yesterday and I'm led to believe she went to the job centre today in her dressing gown. She's in court tomorrow , so I expect a phone call at some point to be told she's gone back to prison. Oh she owes over £1k in fines too. Had the bailiff letter. Don't know what to do about that .

I wanted you to know that it’s helped, I’ve been able to relate to so much of what you wrote. My cousins charges are much more serious then your dds and it’s been very difficult to try and marry up the feelings of disgust for what she’s done against the love for her. The two just don’t seem to link together. She’s been there for 4 weeks now and the story broke in the papers last week so we’ve had threats from keyboard warriors via Facebook to deal with as well. She wrote to me last week, it’s very apparent that she’s sorry to have been caught, and feeling very sorry for herself in prison. Her sister who I am very close with, thinks she’s still in denial over what she’s done and looking for someone else to blame. She’s also much older than your DD and so not a young naive teenager.

I wish I had some advise for you but I’m not an expert, the only thing I do know is that for the bailiffs you can get a legal inventory done through a solicitor to say what property in the house is yours and hers so they can’t touch your things.

How will you feel if she goes back to prison? I’m in awe of how strong you have been and able to support her even when it seems she’s not helping herself. I’m sorry the moneys gone missing as well. You are an incredible mum I wish I had something useful to say x

drinkswineoutofamug · 21/11/2017 21:42

It will break my heart if she's goes back. But I feel strangely calm about it this time round. I know what to expect. Just won't be nice over Christmas. I'm prepared anyway. Use the email a prisoner system to contact your cousin. You need their prison and number. Emails get delivered next day. Still got my account .

Brew for you drinks. I don't think I've posted on this thread before but have been following. Wish you good news for later ... whatever form that takes.

Ceto · 22/11/2017 13:58

Oh dear. Did she make it later? Failing to answer to bail is obviously a serious matter.

drinkswineoutofamug · 22/11/2017 16:30

Made of Teflon that one.

Hi Drinks, I haven't posted before but have been reading for a while. Nothing constructive to add as my two children are much younger but I just wanted to say that I hope I can be half the Mother you are if they ever get into trouble when they are older.

Sending huge hugs, I hope she doesn't get sent back over Christmas. x

catiinbo0ts · 22/11/2017 18:16

Hi Drinks.

Hope you are okay. Did DD make it to court? I’m sorry this is dragging in for you x

catiinbo0ts · 22/11/2017 18:16

*on

MrsMozart · 22/11/2017 18:27

I'm sorry lass.

drinkswineoutofamug · 22/11/2017 20:21

Right now I'm home from work and got a mug of tea ( not living up to my user name) , she rolls in this morning @ 6:15am stoned. Goes to bed , still there now.
I phoned solicitor, and probation.
Probation don't know what ficking day it is. Send her in for a chat on Friday, the courts will be pissed she never turned up but they won't put a warrant out for her. Is the system a piss take it what!
I've gone through hell today , thinking I won't see her, to be told hey ho! Whatever!
I need something stronger than tea!
