What to take to prison

Will be brief, daughter due to be sent down. Any one have a clue what to pack? Do we pack a bag? I've looked on line and it's a bit vague . Any help greatly appreciated.

Got a letter off her this morning. Saying how she's proud to have such a hard coping mum. Sorry that she's let us down. 😢

Now going to be late for work but I don't give a shit! She phoned! Had a group chat. She sounds ok. Told her I will see her on Tuesday, court is a video link on Wednesday so no point in me going. I will be at work pacing. She got all my letters today. 1 letter 2 emails . Apparently there's a weeks back log? she's stuck the photos up that I've sent her.
Thanks everyone for your kind words of support. Sorry I've not replied to everyone. It's hard for families too and I hope that anyone in this situation stumbles across this thread and finds hope, like I did.

My very good friend is going through the same with regard to DD in prison - it is just as hard for those on the outside .

She goes to court Wednesday . So far while on remand it's been weekly visits . Does that change?
But I've seen families of long term prisoners going weekly same as me. The internet says twice monthly but it was last updated 2013
I going to try and book for tomorrow, so staying up after a night shift.

Sorry I don't know but maybe it's different each prison?wish could help more.
Hope she gets a lot better sorted out on Wednesday court.

Hi drinks , you can visit more frequently while on remand it was fortnightly after that when my son was in, but may be different in other places , hope it goes well tomorrow

Is tomorrow only a preliminary hearing ?
