New thread - can I lick it off by asking wat to wear to a confirmation this Friday? Winter or spring clothes ?I fear I’ll be perished but I think the family will be in spring dresses ( I’m Godmother )

Are they sill allowed discount it? There is a gorgeous red wine in tesco consistently reduced from €20 to €10. O'Briens always do wine sales, French one on at the moment. Hope she doesn't touch this 🙏

I think it's the discounts she's going after as I don't think any supermarket gives 'rewards' for buying alcohol or tobacco products (or baby milk?)
I often buy wine in Lidl or Aldi so I'll just have to do that all the time if the Tesco Clubcard prices won't apply to booze anymore!

Super valu always has wine special offers. I only really buy wine on offer. I assume if it is 16.99 reduced to 9.99 it is better wine than 10.99 wine. In reality I don't really know and if offers cease I will just be swayed by nicer labels.

Im watching the football and I don't normally bother. What a hard few days the lads have had.

The atmosphere is like a League of Ireland match and not a typical international match.

It's like a match at our local second rate club. But a win is a win if they get it. I could be a pundit.

It reminds me of Covid football

Covid seems so long ago.

Well done Ireland

Im glad they won...it seems a good outcome under difficult circumstances.

The referee and officials must have been under pressure.

I thought no supporters were allowed but I guess some people will take over places they shouldn’t regardless of the rules.

I thought the same.

What’s Zuckerberg up to? 👀

His new place is very close to Mr Dyson.

The Deise would be happy if he could do for Waterford what JP McManus has done for Limerick hurling.

Also an American billionaire has invested hugely in Waterford Airport and the People Before Profit moan holes have gone into overdrive over Mount Mellary now being a campus for a Florida University.
