I've had a look around and can't find this case - which is pretty shocking on many levels - reported anywhere except by 'Business Plus' which is owned by
Associated Newspapers (Ireland) Limited.

Fair play to Business Plus!

I think the photo of Aleena Starshine is one of those 'a picture is worth a thousand words' images, alongside the photo of 'Giulia Valentino' playing women's Gaelic football.
[Giulia stated at the time that 'she' wanted to leave a legacy, and I'm more than happy to oblige Giulia, and share this photo whenever I can😏]

This is not being wantonly cruel about someone's appearance, it's about showing how easy it is to distinguish a man from a woman, and how poorly many? most? trans IDing men 'pass' - although they often claim nobody has noticed them using the women's toilets for years...

Or maybe some of them, like Giulia and Aleena, know damn well the don't look even remotely like a woman and are just taking the p*ss - go on, challenge me, I dare you, you transphobic bigot!

I find it very concerning that this man got a job, caring for very young children, without having any concept of basic safeguarding. The minimum qualification required to work in a creche is a Level 5 qualification. Safeguarding would be a mandatory part of any course which involves children, he didn't need training in the creche policies to understand it.
I am glad he didn't win his case, he was obviously a liability.
Looking at the photo in the link, there is a yellow hand on the wall with the letters "ity" visible.
What are the odds on the other letters being inclusiv?

I think it's a fair assumption to think those young children were told that Aleena was a woman and they had to respect his pronouns.

Talk about confusing their poor wee brains - it's not helpful or sensible to tell children that they must see men as women and judge them to be as safe as women.

We generally tell wee kids that if they get separated from us in public, they should try and find a middle-aged woman (preferably with kids) to ask for help. Encouraging kids to view women and men as interchangeable drives a coach and horses through safeguarding and child safety.

No, this is in Scotland, a backward autocracy.

Mr Starshine makes it to Reduxx

Well done Reduxx for picking up the story.
Anybody seen it anywhere in Ireland except Business Plus?

Is he going to be investigated for his behaviour, I wonder? A carer asking children for kisses is surely wrong, surely even a [biological, not 'legal'] woman shouldn't have those kind of interactions with children she's caring for in a professional capacity.
