I don't want to say much more in case I'm accused of being a grief voyeur but just my heart goes out to her. Her mental health was never good so now she has this to overcome too. Her poor son though, feeling that this was the answer. All so sad.

Poor poor boy. And yes, poor Sinéad. How awful having to face life when your child has taken their own life.

It's so tragic, I had tears in my eyes when I read the news. So young to be in such despair and the loss the whole family will feel.

I hope she gets the answers she needs as to why Shane, who had tried to kill himself last week, was able to leave hospital and why tulsa have not been in touch - someone needs to be accountable if there were safeguarding fails.

It's desperately sad - such a beautiful, beautiful boy.

I was quite confused when I read her statement because I genuinely thought she had passed away in the last couple of years! I have no idea why I thought that! I heard ‘nothing compares’ the other night and felt sad because such a talented singer had passed.
