I can't believe the fuss in the uk about needing photo I'd to vote. I needed it to get a vaccine, and I needed it to lodge money in the credit union a few months ago, into my own account.
Ah no, I do get it.
Officially here i think you need ID and/or your polling card - but I've never had or used either because it's a small hall in rural Ireland and everything at least half knows everyone!
But if has to be either a driving license or passport then that excludes people who are poor or underprivileged. Because passports are expensive if you are on tight poverty line, and it would be unnecessary if you can't afford to travel outside there country. Driving license- how many people do not drive?
It would have to be done in a way that doesn't exclude people.
