I always feel sorry for the Corrs girls, tied to that conspiracy theorist of a brother. He must be very hard to manage. Their family Whatsapp must be something else!

Anytime I visit my Dublin relatives, I find people in shops very friendly to talk to.
I'm laughing at Joolsin striking up a conversation with Londoners sure, why not? I like chatting to people when I'm out and about, in shops or waiting at the bus stop.

The Corrs' family whatsapp, oh dear God, I wouldn't like to imagine it! Those girls seem so nice and down-to-earth and he really is a fruitcake.

It is nice. I had a funny interaction recently in town. I was having coffee with a couple of pals, a Spanish couple. There were two oul fellas at the next table having their coffee. The next thing, one of them leans over to us and asks my friend for her spoon. She looks at him aghast. 'I can't give it to you, I've licked it'. ' That don't matter', he said. 'Tony wouldn't like that now', I told him, ' but you can have mine, because I haven't licked it'. (I had an Americano not the foamy latte that she had). 'Yerra', said he, completely unconcerned, 'sure don't we all have to catch something and die sometime!' Made me laugh; pure Cork, like :)

I’ve gone off watching the ‘lifestyles of the rich and famous’ type property shows after years of being ‘property porn’s’ number 1 fan. I think it peaked for me when Dermot Bannon was bouncing around the world salivating over rich people houses when families here couldn’t even afford houses to rent let alone buy. And RTE were paying for this. It was tone deaf to say the least. I’m loving Cheap Irish Houses these days!
