Where is everyone from in Ireland?

I live in Cork now.

I grew up on the northside but live in a village just outside Cork now.

Im only a blow in but its home!

Guess where?

I'm a Dub, grew up on the southside and moved to the northside but still a Dub.

How am I only finding this section now?! from the west side 'dodgy part' of Dublin, now in the 'posh bit' of the South side.

To use a PP's wording, I was born in Derry/Londonderry/Doire/maiden city/legenderry/Stroke City/Foyle (phew, no-one can make any assumptions with that list!!) but have lived in various places in the South since I was little. Been in Dublin my whole working life (decades) - first on the Northside but have been living in D16 for 18 years now.

Now in Somerset. Lived in England half my life now.

From England now living in S Dublin (didn't know Foxrock didn't have a pub!!).

Used to use Magicmum then found, well more started posting on, Mumsnet to instead at the start of my third pregnancy (thankfully!!)

Doesn't Foxrock have a wine bar ?
Nothing as common as a pub in Foxrock!!
My sister in law lives in Foxrock that's how I know.

Near Belfast, love the place !

It has the Gables which is a restaurant/brunch place that has wine but never knew it was a wine bar as open after lunch . I would of course learn this when I can't drink
