I did try a detangle brush @Twogingercats but a wire brush may be better.... At the mo the long fur just looks like a very beautiful afro. It does look cute .

£96 two new tyres - were on the MOT advisory last week and the car seemed to lose grip for a moment yesterday so I got them done.
£715 DHs car timing belt and another repair. Ouch but I'd rather keep it on the road than shell out thousands for another car.

Loving Bake Off this season, it’s really good give it a whirl 🤗! Nigella is gorgeous .I could watch her just for the way she talks about food 😁 . She's so lovely to the contestants ❤️

£27.90 Dentist. It was an emergency appointment to fix a chip at the back. It could have been £72 but because I'd mentioned the tooth at my last check up and the week after it cracked, he only charged me on a Band 1

Managed to fall off the thread quite early 🤦‍♀️ had to do an emergency run to get my dd from uni as she was very unwell (ended up spending the night in hospital). She’s fine now and back at uni but worrying about money went out the window for a few days.

lost track of last weeks spends tbh, it was quite bitty with small spends. I filled the car up Ystd and felt a bit sick, what has happened to fuel prices?!

I really need to get onto the council tax people, I have emailed them and completed an online form re dd moving to uni. I should get the 25% discount but not heard anything yet.

It should be a low spend wend, need to pop to Aldi for a few bits and might go to the cinema with a friend tonight. Otherwise planning housework and dog walks!

NSD for me. But OH has dropped £500 to secure a wedding venue for us. 2nd may 2027. I have 7 months minus 1 day to go. We have come down to sussex for the weekend which is lovely but I'm full of head cold as is DD so we skipped her swimming lesson this morning. Lidl is tomorrow and I'm hoping for a reasonable amount seeing as list isn't too long...

£14.07 in Aldi, Lidl and Marks and Spencer today. That included butter, two heat/ice pack things and cheese and pickle.

In HB l bought some tubs of fruit pastilles , Rollos, Smarties and aero bubbles , they were 99p instead of RRP of £2. A trio of hand cream for £1.99 a set of fig hand wash and hand cream £3.99. a beautiful apres ski candle for £1 .99. 4 x Bannister's frozen baked potatoes £2.09 they had lots of fruit and veg reduced to less than half price.

I’d definitely visit the Agatha Christie exhibition especially if you loved her books, it sounds right up your street! l would love to go and it's on for a good 8 months so plenty of time for me Mum allowing .
