Morning all,

£20 for breakfast with a friend yesterday and £10 on petrol on the way back.
We then did a rather soggy walk in a beautiful park with umbrellas in the afternoon. I did a roast but all from the freezer so all good there.

Oh @Lockin26you haven't had a great time. How is child now? Hope relative is out soon but glad the urgent care is over for you all.
The retired vs tired made me howl!

Making own Yorkshire puds I need to do also. My ex's step mum made the best and I'd look forward to dinners at hers. I do miss her Yorkshires. I need to have a look at how to make them.

£136 on swimming lessons for DD.
Had to take it out of savings. So shall pay myself back on Friday which is pay day for me. Apart from yoga tomorrow I have no other spends this week. Phew

Went to Tesco then and honestly l know l had , gammon , steak , sausages, bacon and tofu but it was £100 😱

£100 in Tesco @DirtyGertiefromno30. I’m still taken aback by what people leave Lidl with when they spend >£100 it’s never very much. I can’t believe how little I got for my £17 in Gail’s on Friday.

Another jam tart free day. Nearly made it to the end of the day unnoticed but then work arrived. They’re toads. So I went to Sainsbury. Glad your mum is OK.

How is everyone spending the evening? I'm going to cook some halloumi and make tacos, which will be halloumi in wraps with some lettuce. That's my version of a taco! And put on an only connect. I adore Victoria. Her dress collection is beautiful.

Snacks after dinner is my worst habit @Frugal25 I even asked Chat GPT for advice and it said to allocate one snack in the evening, so I don't feel like I've missed out so I will try that later. Cup of herbal tea and a slice of malt loaf with a little butter 😋 your halloumi tacos sound so good!

I am also trying to be healthy as we have a few things over October half term and dropping a few pounds would help. But I didn't start well today with a free savoury on the Greggs app. Try again tomorrow with more discipline.

Relative is out of intensive care. DS is more settled although he does find life tough for his young age. We are there for him.

Greggs £1.30 for a can of diet coke, got the cheese and onion bake free

Yesterday I spent £16.34 in Lidl and £17.80 in Starbucks (but £10 of that was a birthday present from DSIL for a strawberry frappe and a cake pop)

Also today new mattresses for our bed and DS bed as they desperately need replacing. Deal through a work supplier so not too much for what we are getting. That was from Monzo pot I'd saved into.

Haha @Frugal25the biscuits are definitely the biggest test of our willpower most definitely but it seems my body cannot deal with them anymore and l have to eat the far inferior yet mega more expensive gf stuff, so that may stand me in good stead 😂 .

£59 spend on Gas Service Invoice for a service done yesterday. I had most of the money in the bills slush fund so nearly broke even there. However, we have set up a service plan for the boiler now so apart from a regular monthly payment there shouldn't be any real expenses there. The window cleaner, Green thumb and the boiler service have spent the slush fund this month so now need to build it up again. There's always something!!

You can say that again @Rainbow1961,it seems as soon as one thing is sorted and paid for then there's another thing buying for the money 😱.At least you had the money in the slush fund ready for it 😁👏
Just spent £15.60 on 4 x Demon kpop hoodies for my Mum's friend's Dgc she always buys for them and they were brilliant bargains from Tu.

WFH but popped out to the solicitors, chasing DMs will up as the only person who has a copy has gone on holiday 😬 and I am trying not to hassle them. Got some shopping while I was out to make burgers for DS and stir for me and DD.

Today was a struggle at work but it's over now. Homemade tomato soup for dinner. DM kindly treated me to chips from the chip shop at lunch. Had a small portion.

NSD for me. Wfh and had food in for tea. Oh. No. I've got yoga later £10. Forgot that!
