£4.70 on a paper for work and my weekly scratch card. No winners today but did take my lunch from home so that saved some money.

Yesterday wasn't too bad for a theme park. £16 in Greggs on the way down, my friend paid for fuel so I got us breakfast, £17.10 for some chips and drinks in the theme park - we took extra drinks, sushi, gyoza and satay sticks down with us.

Well £12 of my Primark spend is definitely coming back I look like I'm about to herd some big cats in it.

Spent about £10 today in a mix of sainsbury and Marks and Spencer. I bought juice in sainsbury. I usually get it in Asda at £1.70odd a carton (it used to be £1.25) but they haven’t had any all week and it was 70p a carton more.

Have you bought a power ball ticket @Rainbow1901? I keep thinking I should try my luck.

Have resisted the left over samosas. Might give Mr Amazon some money later as I think I’ll buy some tealights. I’ve not used the new Votivelights I bought and I’m actually looking forward to having them on in the autumn/winter.

£1.89 today on a 3 pack of reduced pritt sticks. We home educate and get through a lot of pritt stick! Otherwise a NSD

Home schooling l applaud you , l imagine it's very hard but rewarding work . All credit to you . I wish l had the courage to do the same for my Dds all those years ago tbh .

£6.59 on name tags for DD school uniform today as I forgot I need to label them. That was it though.
I got into a fight with a hedge whilst driving through country lanes on holiday so need to take car in for a new plastic bit on the wing mirror. Whoops.

Went through DD toys today with OH and we got rid of 2 black bin bags. She has way too many toys. They will go on Tuesday to charity. Her room is bare. Looks lovely for a few minutes, I'm sure she will change this.

New neighbour moved in today. Blonde. Young. Skinny and pretty. I don't like her already and have said to OH maybe we should elope asap before he decides he has made a mistake. He has said we should marry spring 2027. Which gives me about 6 months to lose 29 stone. I believe I shall be living in dust and air. Should bring the food shop down ....

I think you’re OH is safe from the young blonde neighbour, sounds like he’s got his wedding plans all sorted already! Spring 2027 sounds lovely 🥰 And definitely no living on dust and air 🤣 although I agree it would bring the food shopping bill down 😂😂
Well done on the toy clear out ! Two black bags is brilliant. I bet DD’s room looks lovely. And fighting with a hedge on holiday made me laugh, hope the plastic bit is an easy and cheap fix bless you 🤗

Very rainy here @Ovoemconserva I slept under the quilt last night for the first time in a while so I'm not complaining.

Urgh back to school and work prep needed these next two days. DD and I back on Wednesday. Only a three day week I guess - think on the bright side Lockin!

Yesterday was £14.98 for three Body Shop Carrot Cream as I'm about to run out of moisturizer. £1.59 Coop, £6 Amazon for hair colour.

Oohh I missed @Cuwinssaying they home educate. That's amazing and I wish I could. I met a mum recently who did it and it worked so well.

Back to work here too on Wednesday and first day at school for DD Thursday so prep here too @Lockin26 yuk.

Rainy here but grass is back to being green so yay.
Dutch cat got a bird yesterday. First time. Sigh. OH buried it and I had a big word with Dutch about how we like the birds but made a note not to feed them so low down in future. He literally climbed up the bird feeder and plucked the poor thing off.

£13 today on closing down my company. They keep saying I haven't done such and such when I have and I'm fed up with it. I haven't got the head space to make it work properly at the mo so it's gone now.

Right. Off to deweed the drive and have a think about taking people out somewhere. No one got any sleep last night here as DD had cramp so slept in with me, then fell out of the bed and then decided it was time to get up. There is not enough tea in China today.

Have given up for today and am on the sofa watching You’re Killing Me. Later will be left over samosas and a chocolate bar or six. I’m bracing myself for a shite week. I’m sitting on my hands trying to resist the urge to blow my last pay cheque on frivolous niceties.

£13 yesterday B&M,. £15 Tesco and £13 Home Bargains today, and £3.39 Audiobook deal. That had ‘Miss Pettigrew lives for a day’ which I remember liking, so bought that, and will save for a stressy day.
Am still using up from the freezer largely for breakfast and dinners, although it is getting tricky when we have different things. Today DH had gammon, Mum, breaded chicken and I had cold ham and all had new potatoes and salad. The gammon was ready ages ahead, so DH had a starter of gammon and eggs and a main of potatoes and salad! I think it will take a while but am determined.
Some of our apples are ready early due to the hot summer so we have shared some with the neighbours, and stewed some for the freezer. Lots to go though.
I have a coupon for £10 off if I spend £70 at Tesco which I plan to use this week and stock up on some tinned goods or maybe a Christmas present or two. After this, I plan to move to Aldi. Unless there is anything I really cannot buy there. Hope you all had a nice Bank Holiday.

£5 for parking as I was with work I could claim it back but as my employer then treated me to dinner that would feel a bit petty! Otherwise NSD

Well the other Primark item is to be returned. Unfortunately it was on the wrong hanger, super annoying.

Very outting to give details but an absolute shit show of a day here.

So I had a £14 McDonald's breckfast
£14 in Starbucks
£10 in Aldi

And probably feck knows how much a bill is going to be in the near future.

Oh and £13 for bowling in a couple of days time

Cooking apples sound good @Cuwins sometimes my neighbour brings me rhubarb from his allotment. I've made ginger and rhubarb jam for Christmas presents.

NSD for me yesterday, I was busy changing over the duvets for the higher tog ones and then doing loads of washing, did a lot of cleaning too and visited Mum so busy but today l am off to the market and library then meeting my friend for a cuppa 😁☕. Poor bird @Frugal25😭 . Dutch has definitely discovered hunting is great fun . I don’t blame you closing the company, especially with them constantly saying you haven’t done things you have. £13 for some peace sounds worth it to me too 😁.
