Same. The date is available online for weeks in advance. I just used to ask my manager if I could take my break at that time as and I always managed it x

Exactly now it’s open that long that they can’t help everyone and however they pick people clearly isn’t working when some haven’t got it 2 years running and some have thats not random selection surely waste of time and energy I’m not happy with them at all might not waste my time next year just to be disappointed that’s probably what they want anyways which is why they have made it so unfair

2nd year applying 2nd year unsuccessful 😢 with 3 kids. And I applied dead on the moment it came live. Oh well. Looks like it’s gonna be another expensive summer for uniform. To be honest it’s the secondary school one that is going to cripple me. My lad is going into year 9 and needs all new uniform this year including his pe kit 😢😢

Yeah it’s gonna be a bad one for me too have to get uniform for my 3 year old starting nursery which I wouldn’t have even got for him as he isn’t 4 so wasn’t on my application then I have a 4 year old starting school a 9 year old and then my oldest is at college she doesn’t need uniform but all her school supplies cost more then uniform so the money from this is greatly appreciated towards it all but guess il have to make it work either way is mums have no other choice 👍

I have 4 kids all together my daughter going into year 4 then twin boys going in to year 2 aswell. Like you said us mums just have to cope.🤣 managed other years so will some how manage this year. Here’s to next year might just try and apply for 2 instead of 3 🤔🤣

What about your local authority? Can you get a school clothing grant from them? Xx

Had my unsuccessful email 2 year running. I really wish they would limit it to 1 child per household so more people can have help towards uniform

I think it was by 18th August they said we would hear back. So probably a few weeks yet before we hear. I assume everyone that missed out on the uniform one applied.

More weeks of waiting hopefully it isn’t for nothing this time

Anyone recieved anything yet about the cost of living grant?

I did on the 22nd and was told they were progressing my application to keep an eye on my emails x

I got the cost of living grant from them. Took a few weeks to hear anything back after i applied, then took a further 3 working days from recieving the email to receive the money.

I still haven't heard anything

I havnt even recieved a confirmation email to say I've applied, this waiting around is so frustrating

They said we would hear by the 18th hoping we hear this week though

Not heard anything yet. It said by the 18th Aug I think so not sure if we will need to wait right till then
