I received my email at 16.59 - successful for 2 children

Thanks for all the updates. The times are definitely helping me feel like I have a chance but I just know I’ll be the one who doesn’t get it x

I’m so pissed off about it. Unsuccessful last year too but some have been successful both times. Seems so unfair

I know same it isn’t fair at all the way they have done it

It might seem unfair but you did manage to get a 2.5k grant last year after not getting this one so there could be light at the end of the tunnel yet. I'm hoping to apply for a cost of living grant if unsuccessful with the uniform one.

I got a grant carer grant as I’ve got 3 disabled children. It wasn’t the same.

Absolutely gutted for you all. I get they changed it for shift workers to have a chance but at least before you knew if you got your application in before it closed you were guaranteed it. Equally I think they maybe should have prioritised those that were unsuccessful last year

First come first served like it used to be if you can’t get the application in asap then that’s your fault some of us are sat on the website waiting for 9am to get our applications in then have to wait 6 weeks to be told no it was a shambles last year and same again this year well done to everyone who got it can’t believe waited all this time not to get it 😔
