Hi has anyone had bargains with their blue light card?
Asda are doing 10% off again.
I've had fab discount at Tog24 even in sale stuff.
Greene king pubs have 20% off food and drinks.

Any others?

Love my blue light card!

ProclivityForPyrotechnics · 28/05/2022 14:24

I love mine!

TabithaTittlemouse · 28/05/2022 14:25

I never use mine. I always forget.

WreckTangled · 28/05/2022 14:26

I use mine quite often. That an nhs discounts as sometimes that's a bit better. Had kfc yesterday 20% off, use it loads for food. We've done the services day at chessington. 25% off at love honey and rayban. I wish they were accepted at fuel stations Grin

GraceL365 · 28/05/2022 14:26

There are loads of offers with it, too many to name, they come and go but I’ve had good discounts with clothes retailers like asos and new look. Morrison’s also had the 10% off too at one point which was great for the weekly shop.

Juniper68 · 28/05/2022 14:28

Yes wish Morrisons did it again.

I've looked in New look but didn't find anything I wanted? I tend to be buying hiking gear more at the moment.

Morrisons will be starting it again soon I was told in store the other day.
Peacocks do 20% off, I got a lovely dress from there for work

zighead · 28/05/2022 14:46

I keep meaning to get one but never hear of enough places giving discounts with it. Does it expire out of interest? Just wondering if the charge you pay is yearly?

Cookerhood · 28/05/2022 14:49

I've used it to buy clothes for DS, eaten at Bills, Yo sushi, KFC, stayed at Malmaison & to buy an Emma mattress (blue light discount on top of usual discount that always seems to be available).

Juniper68 · 28/05/2022 14:49

Yes it expires.

I forgot about Peacocks.

I will be starting a job at a fire & rescue service. So you’d say the blue light card is worth it?

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 28/05/2022 14:51

@zighead you get two years on your card. Really worth having.

Ilikewinter · 28/05/2022 14:51

I use mine to buy the dogs food, save around £10 a time, also got £40 discount off Forest holidays.

It would be great of Morrisons start discount, been to Asda today but forgot to use it 😫 ..... I tend to check if ordering online but often forget when shopping in stores.

Juniper68 · 28/05/2022 15:01

Holland and Barrett are another one

Where do you get the discount on dog food please?

May I ask which retailer you use on Blue Light for dog food? THanks!

It's only truly "worth it" if it's cheaper than what you could get elsewhere.
£16 for a women's t-shirt at Tog24.
I imagine 1/3 off that with blue light: so £11.

meanwhile I'd actually prefer to pay £3 in a charity shop. Assuming I need a t-shirt at all which I very much probably don't. So not "worth it"

Ditto H&B, Yo Sushi, KFC. Not "worth it" if I wouldn't go there, anyway.
ASDA is only one I get as bargainlicious in these threads, but too far away for me anyway.

lljkk · 28/05/2022 15:20

40 x 100g cat food Felix pouches from Zooplus for £10.39 -> 26p each before delivery, 26p/100g

12 x 85 g cat food Purr & Meow pouches, after 25% Blue light discount, £7.50 -> 62p each before delivery, 73p/100g

The Blue Light card is just a "feel good" discount isn't it.

lisavanderpumpscloset · 28/05/2022 15:28

Can you use the blue light card for Asda online?

kweeble · 28/05/2022 15:35

No and there’s no way to use it at self service tills

Ilikewinter · 28/05/2022 15:53

@Abra1d1 , @Friedaseyebrow

You can get 20% off Forthglade, comes in handy if I cant find any other offers on

I wouldn't buy an everyday t shirt from tog24 but specialist jackets etc.

Cotswold did a discount too not sure if they do now? I might get some new hiking boots and they're fantastic for service.

OP posts:
Juniper68 · 28/05/2022 16:04

15% off at Cotswold so might look there soon for new boots.
