Well done on clearing cc

ememem84 · 20/03/2021 06:42

Morning!

Up with dd. It looks like it’s going to be a beaut day here. Sun is shining.

Off to the stables later this morning so £35.

Gensola · 20/03/2021 07:31

I had a book called Arabella’s Raven when I was a kid, the raven in that was massive so I’ve always wanted to see one since then.

Have meal planned to try and avoid supermarket until pay day on 25th. Pasta and rice feature quite heavily Grin have also excavated the shed freezer and we do have a lot of stuff in there which is great, going to let it run down then replace it a bit each month. I stocked up for Brexit but I have now read that the shortages if any will be in July when the export and import grace period ends.

Unescorted · 20/03/2021 07:40

I had Arabella's Raven too.

I spoke too soon - the dressing gown of doom has arrived (well he is still tucked up in bed feeling a bit rough).

Work was particularly shitty yesterday - culminating with me being put on the naughty step. I need to stop chewing it over in my mind while on holiday.

northender · 20/03/2021 08:49

Oh unescorted sorry you're having a crap work time too. It's harder I think, when you're not actually physically walking out of work, to leave it behind. Hope you enjoy the break from it though.

Slept better last night. Not sure whether it was the cider or the magnesium supplements I invested in yesterday! I suspect some of my anxiety, insomnia & problems with temperature regulation are age & hormone related so I also bought sage tablets to help with the flushes.

Unescorted · 20/03/2021 09:31

I wake up with a thermo-nuclear going off in me too. It is grim. Does the sage work?

Mrsmadevans · 20/03/2021 09:31

GenI think l remember Arabellas Raven 😀 was he really naughty? 😂
Unescorted sorry about your work le sigh nevermind week off now 😃 Can DGOD suddenly disappear? 🤣
NSD today rugger all day 🙄
Have a lovely day everyone 😀

SingToTheSky · 20/03/2021 10:23

I need to look up this raven book! :o I love birds. Saw a whole load of goldfinches on the trees behind the house the other day 😍

Sorry about the crap work day unescorted 💐

Thank you for the brush recommendations!

Gensola · 20/03/2021 10:55

mrs yes he was always doing bad stuff and poor arabella got the blame lol

SingToTheSky · 20/03/2021 11:07

I got Cagletini a book from my childhood which arrived today - willoughby wallaby by jez alborough :o pleased to find a cheap copy as it’s out of print. She loves it :o

SnugglySnerd · 20/03/2021 11:20

Another Arrabelle's Raven fan here! I have introduced dd1 to the stories and she loves them too.

Should be an NSD today.

northender · 20/03/2021 13:11

unescorted I only got the supplements/herbals yesterday & am trying the magnesium first, so that I know what is helping with what, otherwise it's an expensive habit!

Unescorted · 20/03/2021 14:32

hey em your knowledge is needed on this thread

Let me know how you get on north - The flushes are driving me mad.

Fearofawelshplanet · 20/03/2021 16:06

Waves to all the other twin parents! Had a bit of a set back after vaccine, not because of vaccine but more to do with Anemia resurfacing, so going to read and catch up now, nsd today, couple of LSD this week, saved 101.00 since beginning of month so really pleased. Lots of frugal wins and bargains along the way. Hope all good with everyone else...

Mrsmadevans · 20/03/2021 16:24

Afternoon all Smile. A little envious of the retirement chat, it's a long way off for me. I've been serenaded by the sparrows today whilst I procrastinated doing nothing. Have to pay the gas and electric next. £200 total.

Fearofawelshplanet · 20/03/2021 16:59

Have watched a Poirot and a Miss Marple on my laptop while Dh watched the rugger Hmm at least he likes it Hmm Grin

ememem84 · 20/03/2021 21:12

Oh god. Onion quiche. Yum.

I want a Lidl here.

Made cheesy garlic bread for dinner. And a veggie chili. Yum.

Dd ate loads of chili and warm bread and is now farting like a cannon in her bed. She’s fast asleep. I’m giggling away in the next room...!

£13 new whip in the riding shop as mine annoyingly snapped. It’s about 6 year old though so had a good run.

Mrsmadevans · 20/03/2021 21:51

Am watching the Edward & Mrs Simpson docu it's excellent 😀
Em your Dd is so good to eat the veggie chilli excellent job on getting them to eat everything 😄👏
Love Lidl have to admit it 😊👍

AmberItsACertainty · 21/03/2021 01:18

I went down evening walk by the lake just after dark. Sat by some gently quacking mallards, their buddies snoozing with heads tucked under wings. Watched two water voles eating amongst the reeds and water weed, diving in and out of the waters edge. Bought a wellness magazine in the shop, not frugal it was £7.99 plus an additional £4.24 on oranges, crisps and chocolate. It was galaxy orange chocolate and very nice.

SnugglySnerd · 21/03/2021 06:19

That sounds like a lovely evening Amber, haven't seen a water voles for years!

Everyone slept well - yay! Unfortunately 2 of them have got up.very early.

Mrsmadevans · 21/03/2021 07:53

Morning everyone 😀
Amber lovely evening ❤️
Snuggly glad you got your sleep in 😊👏👍
Off to MumBobs in a min , am not going to spend today! 🤗

Taytocrisps · 21/03/2021 08:20

Morning everyone. Popping in briefly to say Hi. I'll come back later for a catch up. I need to get some cleaning done.

Did you watch the rugby yesterday? I was very happy with the result of the Ireland v. England game. That was a cracking match between Wales and France. Heartbreaking for the Welsh fans though - to lose at the very last minute.

I have no news at all. Still in lockdown. I'm hoping they ease the restrictions a bit on the 5th April, especially the one about the 5km restriction. I desperately want a change of scene.
