I feel like the only person in the world who pays their council tax over 12 months

ememem84 · 17/01/2021 10:05

We don’t get the option of instalments. We have to pay in one lump for our equivalent here. £430 something last year due every September. At the same time as car insurance and house insurance.

SingToTheSky · 17/01/2021 10:49

Ours is over ten I think.

Gah. Is anyone good with returns? Jojo maman bebe policy says about perfect sellable condition etc but stupidly got rid of the packaging - does that still apply if the item is not fit for purpose?

Totally PMTy today 😳

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/01/2021 12:05

If it's faulty you don't need the original package. If it's not for your requirements then the tags or original box is enough. When you say got rid of the package which package?

SingToTheSky · 17/01/2021 12:08

The packaging for the actual product unfortunately. I did only just buy it but stupidly got rid of the packaging it came in

Happierwithouthim · 17/01/2021 14:54

€18 rubbish
€66.50 Aldi €6.99 on 30% off flowers one carnation damaged, €13.47 on their lignite briquettes so much cleaner than regular briquettes and handy for dm as I can leave them indoors €46.04 on groceries
€7.30 Tesco on fairy liquid, washing machine capsules & novelty peppa pig pancake mix for dc
€16.47 boots on shampoo for me and curly girl stuff for dd

lifelongfrugaleer · 17/01/2021 15:52

Is it faulty not fit for purpose due to a defect or cos it's not right for your needs. If the latter you will need to go bin diving
