Is it bad that I am already in my pjs? I had a really nice hot shower to ease my aching shoulders and them couldn't be bothered to get dressed again!

SingToTheSky · 13/01/2021 17:39

Sounds like essential self care to me snuggly 💖

Unescorted · 13/01/2021 17:42

Love dementia is so tough for everyone.

gen it is rocket fuel strength... stovetop with enough grounds in to make 3 espressos per cup. em decaf contravenes the trade description act.

snuggly you just need to worry if you are changing out of your PJs just before bed because you don't want to wear your work wear to bed.

Matchmakers.... one of the best parts of Christmas.

I got so wet on my lunchtime walk today... but I still got out for 3.3 miles over a hill. Lunch hour was 10 minutes over... it is having a good effect on my MH balance so I will keep it up.

No. Absolutely not bad at all.
MsKL · 13/01/2021 18:11

Mm all these flavours of Matchmakers sound lovely.

I paid for 3 months of TV licence today, £40.64. I haven't had one for about a year, but want to watch Dancing on ice live from Sunday. On the plus side when I went for my walk I managed to walk past the chip shop without getting any, as I defrosted some stew last night.

Wolfcub · 13/01/2021 18:16

I love a mint matchmaker.

So tired today. Been a tough day with ds.

I also love coffee but it no longer loves me sadly.

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/01/2021 18:24

Definitely not too early for PJs.
Swerved the chipper here too. Beige freezer tea.
Not Liking school of mam wolf?

Unescorted · 13/01/2021 18:28

wolf Flowers

Ms you have a stronger will power than me.

SnugglySnerd · 13/01/2021 18:29

Hope you are ok Wolf

Orange matchmakers would be my preferred choice!

MsKL · 13/01/2021 19:09

@Unescorted I may go back another day Blush .. they smelt so good!

Lovemaltesers · 13/01/2021 19:31

There’s various things being arranged for my dad now, including a carer overnight as soon as they can. Last night he climbed out the window in the middle of the night, in his bare feet and pyjamas. Some police officers came across him and brought him home. I know my mum is going to try and cancel the carer though. Urgh.

DD2 keeps her school place for my working days. Phew.

DD1 got a good report from her teacher at video conference parents evening.

We had takeaway pizza tonight. Not even sorry 😂

I don’t like mint or orange chocolate hides away in shame

Gensola · 13/01/2021 19:41

Long day of sedentary online lessons and planning. Walked to tesco and did shopping and walked back £22 on mostly fresh veg and fruit, dips and cheese plus cat food.

Waiting for a refund from lululemon for gym gear of £118 and they’re taking forever to process it. Angry

lifelongfrugaleer · 13/01/2021 19:52

Love Flowers good in a pervese way that you are speaking to ss daily. Being on their radar is rubbish as it means things are bad but is good as they will do something sooner.
Yeah for school places.

Mrsmadevans · 13/01/2021 20:11

Criky Em you haven't lived! Smile
Love well done to Dd1 & great stuff re Dd2 keeping her school place Smile
That is great they are organising an overnight carer, not so good your Mum wanting to cancel, it's like banging head against a brick wall Sad
Well done on avoiding the chippie all Grin

Your day sounds much like mine Gen but without the supermarket trip. I intend to go for a big walk tomorrow! Flowers Love that sounds really hard.
lifelongfrugaleer · 14/01/2021 06:14

Snow day

Unescorted · 14/01/2021 06:53

life it is pissing with rain here.

Love well done to your DD2 on the good report. DS got his mock results this week - despite not doing any discernable work between April and September last year he did well.

I have started a daily lunch time walk routine... I have been out everyday since I started back at work. Over 30 miles clocked so far - my poor legs don't know what is happening to them, but my head is in a better space.

We had rain all night. Starting to get a little bit of snow now. Starting my day with a call to the IT help desk for the second time this week Angry

ememem84 · 14/01/2021 08:18

Pissing with rain here too. Am waiting at mechanics for ddad to pick me up so i can go home to work.

Gensola · 14/01/2021 08:30

Raining here too! I have to write a presentation for next week on a really tricky topic and I’ve been putting it off. Posting here for accountability - I WILL write the first draft today Grin the talk is on Tuesday but I have so many lessons on Monday and Tuesday that I need to get it done well before. God I’ll be glad when it’s out of the way! Rest of term will feel like a holiday! maybe not
Hoping for two NSDs today and tomorrow, have meal planned through to Friday eve and don’t need any bits so going to avoid shops and online shops totally.

Have booked a zoom yoga class with a. Favourite instructor from RL days which is a bit extravagant as I have yoga included on peloton app but I love her and I know it will cheer me up to see her!

Unescorted · 14/01/2021 10:59

And it snows....
Also the pencils have arrived safely from Japan....

today is a good day.

Ooh exciting unescorted I hope they are as nom nom as DD wants! 😍

Got thoroughly soaked on the nursery run. Also need to get an extra potty as Cagletini is refusing to use theirs now 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️ So will buy the same one she has at home and hopefully that’ll persuade her

Unescorted · 14/01/2021 11:30

They are beautiful.

How is the beautiful Cagletini? She is growing up so fast.

SnugglySnerd · 14/01/2021 11:32

Pissing rain here too. Have stupidly volunteered to do something at work that I will enjoy but don't really have time for!
