God that post of mine was full of errors l AM tired lol Grin

SnugglySnerd · 19/11/2020 21:17

I know what you mean about sleep Em. Dd2 isn't far off 4 and she still wakes up most nights. When will it end??

Lovemaltesers · 19/11/2020 22:29

You know I said we partook in the covid survey? DH has only gone and tested positive. Me and DD1 tested negative 🤯

We think track and trace tried calling him once on Tuesday as the result letter we got in the post was dated Tuesday.

He’s fine though.

And now we self isolate. As well as his work team 😬

NSD 😂

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/11/2020 06:48

No way love. I can't recall didn't he get something that didn't sound like covid from the symptoms?

SnugglySnerd · 20/11/2020 07:06

Oh no, Love! Good that you know though.

Lovemaltesers · 20/11/2020 07:32

He thought he was suffering stress. And to be honest he probably was too!

Lovemaltesers · 20/11/2020 07:34

I’m just a bit miffed that it took two days to get the result in the post. With no real attempt from track and trace except one possible missed call

Wolfcub · 20/11/2020 07:45

Oh no Love, does that mean that he can rest a bit now and take the space to destress that you wanted him to?

Lovemaltesers · 20/11/2020 07:55

Not really he has to work from home. And technically he is due back in work early next week, whilst everyone else continues to isolate. Which won’t help the stress...

CurlsandCurves · 20/11/2020 10:02

Oh no @Lovemaltesers that’s awful. Can’t believe he has to work through it at home too, he needs to recover poor guy.

I’ve just done something very optimistic. Booked to go to a gig next year 😆. James are touring with the Happy Monday’s starting November next year. They went on sale at 9.30 and when I got on at 9.35 I couldn’t get our preferred venue of Manchester, but managed to get Birmingham instead. Here’s hoping things will be normal enough for us to go!

ememem84 · 20/11/2020 12:22

Oh no love not great

curls I’m tempted to book to see Queen next year. But will we be able to go.... it’ll be a lot of money (£250 per ticket - this is seated at wembley) plus flights and hotel. So....maybe won’t.

Payday today. Yippeee and all my expense reclaims came through too. Yahoooo!

£33 in toy shop - took dh to choose a gift for his friends party. He said “mummy can we get this for Dd? She’s been very good...” my heart melted so bought it along with something for him....! (He knows how to play me and I know I’ve been played!)

£4.10 coffee and apple juice at my fave cafe with my fave boy.

Unescorted · 20/11/2020 13:07

love does that mean you and your DD have to isolate for 10 days too.... I am losing the will to keep up with all the advice changes.

Curls it is a same that you missed the Madchester one.

I think our whole organisation has got into the habit of not working on a Friday afternoon..... it is very quiet today.

ememem84 · 20/11/2020 16:28

Tried to get Dd down for a nap. Nope. She is knackered. So we’re off out in the car in a bit. Will drive the super long way to pick dh up. From our house to his work it’s about a 15 minute drive usually. Will go all the way round the coast.

Happierwithouthim · 20/11/2020 16:50

em I used to do that with ds when picking dd up from playschool, 5 min drive, or 35 mins going around a coastal drive, then usually he'd wake after coming home but it was a break, if I'd done similar with dd she'd have stayed asleep for hours!!

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 20/11/2020 19:32

Hi all thought I better pop in incase you were worrying about me 😁

I'm okay, it's been a weird week as I've not been well (stomach bug) and my dad has had his heart bypass surgery! He had the surgery Ystd and is doing well which is a massive relief.

Dd is doing okay, I think it's going to be a long journey to full recovery but things are much better than they were a few months ago.

Lockdown has for me been an opportunity to not spend as much money, although today I spent £140 online on Christmas presents for various people.

Hope everyone here is alright?

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/11/2020 20:24

Home school wolf. Has the bubble burst.
Hey girlie nice to see you

Wolfcub · 20/11/2020 20:58

Closed for deep cleaning Life as pretty much every other bubble in school but ours has burst

Wolfcub · 20/11/2020 20:59

Girlie very pleased to see you, I was worried. Glad your dad and dd are doing ok

lifelongfrugaleer · 20/11/2020 21:17

Ah just one day then.

Unescorted · 20/11/2020 21:35

We are thankful for each day the bubble doesn't burst.

Girlie lovely to see you and fab(cautious) news about your DD and dad.

em I hope all is peaceful in your world. Wishing you and your family sleepy thoughts.

ememem84 · 20/11/2020 23:01

Did nodded off at 820. Fingers crossed for just the one wake up (if it’s 5am again and that’s the only peep we hear I can totally cope with it!!)

Watched three episodes of the crown season 4. Wow. Diana. Poor Diana. I had no idea what went on. I know this is just tv but there has to be some element of truth? She was the same age as me now when she died. That I remember. I was 12.

lifelongfrugaleer · 21/11/2020 07:21

We are on episode 8. Tis good. No spoilers though for those who haven't watches it yet.

Up early as 0930 viewing and need tidy up. Need to go to super drug and aldio today too.
Also have an order to collect at the riding shop today or tomorrow.

Pile of stuff to charity, pile do stuff to DM for burning.

Exchange date looked of 4 dec

ememem84 · 21/11/2020 07:32

0030 wake up for Dd but she was straight back to sleep. She was up again at 640. Wahoooo. Almost a normal sleep!

Riding today. £35. Not sure what else we’ve got going on.
