Oops sorry got confused! I posted some from here and some from another thread I’m on. Will report it now and post the right one!

Hi all! Sorry I wasn’t on yesterday. DD had a wobble at nursery, apparently she would cry on and off through the day and kept wanting to see DS in the baby room. So yesterday was spent trying to come up with solutions, she said she likes being at home to cuddle and watch films. So I’ve said we can have a treat day this weekend where we can do that, or go out if she wants to. I’ve also drew a heart on her hand, I’ve seen a few people do it, but she can kiss that and remember me. She went in okay this morning and if I hear she didn’t get too upset then I’ll treat them both to a maccies. I’m off to get them now, will be back with spends in a min!.

em that’s so bad by your boss, what you described looks very professional.

mrs DD was fine before lockdown, I just think 24/7 with me has made it so difficult for her to leave. I’m really worried about her starting school next year, she’s summer born so if she doesn’t change I think I might have a look into deferring her for a year. My friends house is all grey, I don’t understand the new trend of it. My house is so colourful I do get a bit embarrassed sometimes that it isn’t ‘cool’.

north I hope things are put in plane for 2021 GCSE’s, it doesn’t seem fair that they’ve missed so much critical education to be expected to do the exams as normal.

Bless him happier, It’s so difficult isn’t it, I feel awful but I don’t know what to do. I’ve considered pulling her out of nursery and DNan could have her in the day but I think in the long run that would be bad for her. Is he okay when he comes out or is he still upset?

Great news girlie

So exciting love! I bet you can’t wait now.

Great news about the mortgage tayto, and I’m glad your decorating went well. I’m a new poster😊

Good luck with the big boy bed em, DS started in one a while ago and he was fine after a few weeks!.

Can I have some of your energy wolf!

How long until Dd goes to uni unescorted? And Adora when do your girls go? All the introductory stuff is over for ds now & he seems to be getting on okay. Once DSA & uni support is sorted I'll be able to relax a bit.
So glad it's the weekend, it's felt like a long week at work.
Dd is cooking fajitas for tea.
Time to chill...

Happy wedding day love for tomorrow.

I’ve been married for almost 10 years. Gulp.

SnugglySnerd · 18/09/2020 20:26

Have a wonderful day tomorrow Love!

anorangeaday · 18/09/2020 20:57

DD did great, she cried for 5 minutes after I went but then settled down. So we went for a McDonald’s after school £8.95.

They’re allowed to stay up a bit later because it’s the weekend, I’ve popped a film on in the playroom so I can clean the house, just went in to check on them and found them on their ride -ons😂. Hopefully if they stay up until 10 they’ll sleep until 7.

Have a brilliant day tomorrow love!!

Tayto thank you so much that is so kind of you Flowers
I am sorry l haven't had much time to reply to the posts here today because l have been so very busy Smile
Well l can't believe it but it has finally happened Dd2 is now the proud owner (avec mortgage) of her first home, She was absolutely delighted, it didn't happen until 2pm so we were hanging around for a long time. Anyway we did lots of cleaning and washing, kitchen utensils, crockery and putting stuff away, it was so dusty , Dh had to clean the windows in and out that was his job Grin
ln the end we came away at 7 having done a lot of it , she just needs flooring and her furniture now, they have even done the turfing of the back garden and it looks so much nicer. The neighbours seem lovely thank God, all waving to us and saying hello Smile
Dh had one of his Afib attacks early this morning, l think it's bought on by stress you know. He wasn't completely clear of it until 12.30 so it lasted a long time . It couldn't have happened at a worse time really with Dd2 house on the cards today but she drove us down and he sat in the passengers seat , l figured l couldn't leave him and if he was still ill with it we could bypass the house and go to the RGH ACC /EM DEPT . He was ok afterwards so he did the windows , put 2 small toilet cupboards together and then drove us home . We only had a pizza for tea we were so tired. ANYWAY AT LAST IT HAS HAPPENED!!!
Spent 34 in Lidl while we were waiting for the handover with my Lidl app, 5 off 25 and the money off the special offers l saved 7 pounds so l was very pleased Smile
I must say the app seems excellent , you can download vouchers to use for a percentage off certain things, they also have changed the weekend offers to start on a Friday , so l had bin liners , half price and 30 m of foil for 99p , dishwashing tablets 40 for 1.99 so l have filled up my container with 160 of them that should see me through the next lockdown Hmm
l thought it was excellent Grin little things please little minds Grin

Mrsmadevans · 18/09/2020 21:54

Love wishing you both a very lovely wedding day tomorrow , Congratulations Smile

anorangeaday · 18/09/2020 22:27

Oh mrs that’s so exciting for her! I bet she’s so chuffed. Sorry to hear about DH, is he feeling better now?

DC are fast asleep, I’ve lit a Yankee candle, made a cuppa and am watching doctor who with the dog.

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 18/09/2020 22:35

Have a wonderful day tomorrow love 💕* *

I've been a busy 🐝 today as well, first coat of paint done in the living room, need more paint and am going to have to drive to another town to get it tomorrow as none in my town 🙄

I've bought a new floor lamp £40 and new window blinds £38. Have also booked for a chap to come and clean the sofa as I can't afford to replace that yet!

It's been 10 years since I bought new things for the living room so it's def due a revamp!!

My flooring isn't going to be laid until Dec (supply issue apparently) 😕 I'm seriously hoping Tapi carpets don't go bust before then!!!

She is over the moon Orange l am so pleased for her and her joy helps me to stop feeling so awful about her going bless her Smile Dh is so much better back to normal thank you Smile I take it you like Dr Who Grin I cannot fault you Smile
Mrsmadevans · 18/09/2020 22:57

Girlie sounds as if you have been really busy , l know that Tapi are a bit slow atm because we popped in to ask re the laminate flooring and it would take a month for them to measure it alone!

ememem84 · 19/09/2020 07:49

Ds fell out of his bed but continued sleeping on the floor. He took his duvet with him.

Dd up early. 550...on a Saturday. Sigh.

Peppa pig now and tea on the couch for me and ds.

Bornlazy · 19/09/2020 10:56

Oh em that is an early start. Hope you get a nap later.

I was awake early too, combination of heat and pesky cats but I managed to nod off for another hour about seven. Insomnia has some benefits as I got some perfumes and aftershaves from Superdrug for £5. I was in a frenzy of excitement 😂

Tayto my bedroom has dark teal walls with one hideous beetroot coloured one and I love it. It looks lovely and rich and it's very forgiving if your walls aren't perfectly smooth.

Girlie fingers crossed it's just a mad rush of everyone sorting their houses out before Christmas and any more lockdowns.

It's a beautiful day here so I'll get some washing done and out to dry. Might sit out later with my kindle. Hope the weather is being kind to you too Love

Bornlazy · 19/09/2020 10:58

Congratulations to your dd on the house move Mrs and glad your dh is ok now.

ememem84 · 19/09/2020 13:22

£35 riding.

Now home to the chaos which always seem to ensue when dh looks after the dc solo. It does not make it relaxing at all.

anorangeaday · 19/09/2020 16:44

Hiya everyone, the weathers been so lovely today so I decided we should pack up and go for a picnic in Stratford-Upon-Avon. I invited the kids dad so picked him up on the way.
It was such a beautiful day, there weren’t too many people there and they had one way systems in the street. We had our picnic and then walked around the town, we saw Shakespeare’s birth place but didn’t go in, there were lots of people dressed in Harry Potter robes and hats, I think some sort of convention was happening, the DC loved that. Stopped off at the Christmas shop, I got some Christmas cards with the DC’s names on £1.99 each. They had some gorgeous knitted Peruvian cardigans for the kids, but £25.99 a piece I couldn’t afford that. The ex came back with us and I’ve got the paddling pool and hose out now to cool down as it is so hot here. Pics attached of DS’s wet footprints and DD spraying him😂. Ex is going to get some chips for tea, he can pay. I spent £15.35 in tescos on some snacks for the picnic.

girlie it sounds like your home is going to be lovely!

mrs is she moving far from you?. Glad to hear your DH is better. I was never actually a fan of Dr Who, but the series is on iPlayer so I thought I’d start it, I don’t mind it actually.

em I put the DC to bed late last night and was still up at 5:30!. It’s a nightmare isn’t it.

ememem84 · 19/09/2020 17:14

@anorangeaday yes! i am slowly becoming a morning person though. i'd just prefer it if they didnt wake up so early every day...!

took ds to waitrose. spent a lot. but bought a lot. we turn it into a game when ds comes with me. he holds the list (i took one!) and reads it out to me and i buy what's on the list. in reality he's almost 3, can't read and just says what he wants in the trolley so the extra's we bought were:

  • a pumpkin
  • a chickadeechick (whole chicken - but will roast tomorrow have for dinner then have leftovers for days)
  • diet coke - ds wanted the "robot drinks" (silver cans)
  • daddy's beer
  • noodles
  • white carrots (parsnips)
  • flowers
  • chocolate
  • rice crispies
(although we are going to use the above to make rocky roads tomorrow)

i'm battling against my assignment. i need to get it into some sort of order now and am really struggling with this. i tend to write things down, then work out where they fit/elaborate on points i've made. so now need to smarten it up somewhat.

this has meant cutting bits out (have saved previous versions so if i need to go back i can) and in some cases trying to work out how to make a sentence have more words...
