I want maltesers now too.

£30 fuel
£5.50 Sainsbury's on plimsolls and soreen
£6 something costa
£17 something dunelm mattress topper for ds.

That's it for spend until Friday hopefully. Might need strawberries but that's it.

Justanothermile · 14/01/2019 15:55

It had the opportunity to read back today sadly, a long day at work. I did wonder how I never knew how cheap sisters were, I'd have bought one ages ago had I known😂

£70 fuel, knew that was coming after a university round trip. But still, fuel is at least a tenner more these days than a year ago.

Lemon risotto for tea.

Justanothermile · 14/01/2019 15:55

NOT had the opportunity - damn iPad.

ChristmasSeacow · 14/01/2019 16:28

Buy cheap, buy twice though Jam. All I did was trip over mine and I broke her it Wink. I am almost 14st though

Petrol is ridiculously expensive. It doesn’t hurt us too much because we actually don’t use much at all (except if we holiday in the Uk) but it is noticeably more to fill up now... it must be a huge expense for some of you out in the sticks.

Chicken arrabiata pasta tonight from roast leftovers. Sister is staying over but there’s enough for 3. And some salad on the side for smugness. I am hungry now though and that’s at least 4 hours away!

Spent £5ish in Costa hiding from the Cleaner, and £9 in Tesco on fruit, ham, cheese for me.

I need to choose between some balls of yarn I bought in different shades for a project so I can return the rest. But it’s already too dark to see them properly.

Happierwithouthim · 14/01/2019 16:29

I frugally didn't buy 6 pieces of lo dough for £14 yesterday because the shipping charge was another £7 to ROI but today I came around that with DPD Parcel Wizard so €20.14 for 6 pieces of dough which is expensive but it's got 39cals so I'm going to try them for a change to make pizza for myself. Will hide away from everyone else at home Grin

Those two nails I showed you sea are down to the top of my fingers, I've got about 6 nails like that at the moment so I'm going to do what em suggested and file them all down and give them a chance to grow properly together.

Cagliostro · 14/01/2019 16:33

Wahoo I have an appt with my “lead practitioner” at CMHT at the end of the month. I’ll be off the current meds by then and can hopefully start to plan what we are trying next. :)

Lovemaltesers · 14/01/2019 16:50

You can't beat a bag big box of Maltesers

MeadowHay · 14/01/2019 16:59

Ye Gods, DD has just done her 4th poop of the day. Idk wtf is going on with her bowels, she's been doing soooo many poos the last week or so. I'm so fed up of changing pooey nappies, sigh...and she cries each time too so I have to manically sing nursery rhymes all the way through to limit the tears.

I had malteasers two nights ago. I love them, but the problem is I just cannot stop eating them Blush.

Bornlazy · 14/01/2019 17:12

So meal plan for this week is:-

cottage pie
roast chicken with veg and either chips or savoury rice
chicken pasta with sweetcorn
fish and chips
chicken curry with rice and nan
lasagne with salad
roast beef with roast potatoes and shop bought Yorkshire puddings Shock

WreckTangled · 14/01/2019 17:19

That's great cag!

Sneaky how was your stir fry? I had one for dinner but no one liked it. Dh did but left all the quorn because apparently he hates the texture. I reckon it's all in his head.

Meadow probably all part of the teething. Bad nappy rash and frequent poos are a sign.

Cagliostro · 14/01/2019 17:36

Has it coincided with the ranitidine? Could be a side effect

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/01/2019 18:03

£9 pizza hut, £17 Sainsbury's. Ding tea is ready.
Carnage here with no floor and workmen

MeadowHay · 14/01/2019 18:12

I am making this at the moment but I confess it will not be anywhere near as nice as it should be as I don't have half the stuff Grin.

MeadowHay · 14/01/2019 18:13

Cag Actually, you know what, it might have, I can't remember exactly but probably you are right! I didn't even think of that. Will mention to DH and see what he thinks. It's not bothering her and actually it's kind of better as she normally struggles to poo rather than doing tons, it's just annoying for me!

Unescorted · 14/01/2019 18:22

Evening! I am so excited. I have a proper computer. With a real keyboard and all.

sneaky how did the meatballs go? did you look suitably organised?
North I hope the visit to your friend went OK. I am always in awe when I go to the Christie. The strength and stoicism of people at such a traumatic time is incredible.

Meadow I know we all keep saying this, but it is worth repeating. You are doing a good job. being a parent is difficult...if it was easy and rewarding all the time we wouldn't have maternity leave.

cag excellent news.

I would post a picture of my nails...but it would put you all off your dinners.

Lovemaltesers · 14/01/2019 18:32

I used my wok to cook our fajitas and thought of you sneaky

SneakyGremlins · 14/01/2019 18:36

Meatballs were lush. Worker was very impressed Grin

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/01/2019 18:47

Washed up and flooded my kitchen ffs

Wolfcub · 14/01/2019 19:01

Meadow hang in there hopefully this is the transition from stuck sore tummy to comfy tummy

Work has been a reet barsteward today. Still a bit to do tonight although I’m hoping I’m not up as late as Sea

Sneaky hope it went well with support worker

Nursey sorry I must have missed your birthday post, happy significant birthday Flowers

ememem84 · 14/01/2019 19:03

meadow I second unescorted you are doing such a great job. You got this. Xxx

SnugglySnerd · 14/01/2019 19:14

NSD but a loooong day at work after the weekend. I'm very tired.

Thanks for the mulch advice Unescorted. We have compost bins buy they filled up so we haven't added anything too them for ages. We now have a load of compost but the actual bin thing (cheap plastic one) is falling apart so I think we'll use all the compost until it's empty and then think of a better arrangement. It pains me throwing away all the veg peel and cofee grinds!

Ggreengrass1 · 14/01/2019 19:23

Hi, does anyone know if its too late to plant hyacinth bulbs in out door pots?

lifelongfrugaleer · 14/01/2019 19:33

Doing great there meadow.
Em, hope you are feeling better for a day off.
Oh no wolf Flowers you said this week was going to be bad. Day 1 done .

Unescorted · 14/01/2019 19:46

snuggly coffee grinds make good slug barriers apparently. Also to speed up the compost rotting if you have too much sticky / nitrogen poor material.... get the blokes in the house to pee on it. One of the easiest ways to get compost is to buy a straw bale, buy beer, have a bbq and make the mens loo the straw bale. Leave it for a few weeks and then cut the bale bands. I know it sounds gross but good compost.

sneaky so they should be.

green ours are indestructible & if we didn't have mares tail I would send you a bag of them in the green.

wolf come and work for us.... we are lovely.

Wolfcub · 14/01/2019 20:23

Jesus Christ ds has been having a complete meltdown for the last 30 minutes. I’m having a minor mental health break here before I consider leaving home
