What do you do with them?
Im not near an Asda though.

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/07/2018 19:43

I’m not near asda anymore either, put them in the Shoppix app & you earn free amazon vouchers.

LonelyOversharer · 01/07/2018 20:05

Just joined shoppix, used your code thanks love I hoard reciepts (ffs) so this should be an easy one for me!

Today I just actually spent a fiver in Sainsburys as dp had my debit card (for diesel last night). My £8 in the co-op was free as I had 14 quid on my card. Hate using a credit card for shopping, but had about 30p in my purse.

Just cut dp and ds' hair, and now just need to water the garden. My dd came back tired and tetchy. She is now fed and in bed. I think she has been a bit highly strung all weekend.

WreckTangled · 01/07/2018 20:07

Both my dc were asleep by 7 Shock first time in ages as they've been struggling in the heat

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/07/2018 21:01

Lonely send me your referral code for shoppix

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/07/2018 21:04

Car boot was good fun and dd had a blast. Came back with less than we took. It went very quiet as they was an accident. £20.30 profit. Well probably zero profit if I work out petrol. But less cluttered, the rest is going to charity this week.

ememem84 · 01/07/2018 21:11

I have injuries!!! Look at my lovely bruises and scrapes!!

Bruises from crawling through a tunnel and back a few times and scrapes from sliding on my front through an inflatable tunnel #bouncy

Worth it though. Absolutely knackered now. For once I’m glad there’s football on. Dh is watching and hasn’t given me the snark because I’ve gone to bed early! Haha.

Free cheese spread on shopmium app. Two if you both have an account.

If you have a dp you can join them to Shoppix and get the referral points.

There’s still free ice cream/lollies on topcashback.

Cagliostro · 01/07/2018 21:29

Going to get all that shopmium clicksnap stuff once we move for sure (and once I have DSD’s iPhone to put the apps on) as we will be in walking distance from so many supermarkets

New trainers and sandals for ds £59 his feet are as big as mine
Then had to buy him men’s shorts as even the biggest children’s sizes didn’t fit him 😱 bought a couple of tshirts for myself and some sunglasses for him. Blooming expensive day again

Wolfcub · 01/07/2018 21:30

Em those are very impressive bruises

CurlsandCurves · 01/07/2018 21:54

@Wolfcub I feel your pain. My youngest at the grand old age of 9 (only just) is in age 11-12 clothes and size 7 school shoes (8 for trainers). I’ve already spoken to Sports Direct and JD Sports regarding how big their sizing goes...

Loveabaconsandwich · 01/07/2018 22:01

Impressive bruises em

Job application has been submitted Smile

Cagliostro · 01/07/2018 22:14

Yay love :)

No of course I haven’t got an Ikea card fluffy that would require me being organised! 😳😭🤦‍♀️Off to google...

Decided on my next size sling for the baby, can pay by PayPal so no money from my account. I need to get my bum in gear and sell the first one, it’s the only thing I’m selling rather than passing on. Don’t want to get rid at all TBH I loved it so much! But she’s far too big for it now, the chubster.

ChristmasSeacow · 01/07/2018 23:01

Ooh Cag do you want vests etc in 9-12m? There’s some clothes too but not much that’s summery, so possibly not so useful right now. But some leggings, long sleeved tops, cardigans etc. And long sleeved dresses.

Good bruises Em and, er, nice bites Wreck Grin

Welcome back Curls. It’s a bugger when big things break.

Well done Love 💪🏻

It took me about an hour to water the garden tonight as the water pressure was mysteriously low. Probably everyone else doing exactly the same thing.

I’m going to check out Shoppix. No idea what it is.

I spent about £12 today at the local ASD charity’s market. I bought stuff I didn’t desperately want but were quite nice anyway (a cloth tote bag, a plant and some of my own lemon drizzle cake Grin) just to show support. It was quieter than normal, as was our monthly farmers’ market on the high street; presumably people found better things to do in the hot weather. Then I came home and hung out in the garden with DH and the kids. We got the bouncy Carole out for DS, who was ecstatic. It was really lovely actually, we’re normally juggling DC at the weekend so one of us can do chores/ errands but it was so nice just to lie around on the lawn and let them climb over us. Gorgeous kids ❤️

ChristmasSeacow · 01/07/2018 23:02

Bouncy castle! Not bouncy Carole! Mind you, I am overdue a name change... GrinGrinGrin

Meadow if you are reading I hope things are going okay.

LonelyOversharer · 01/07/2018 23:13

Cannot get ds to sleep. He's sweating and restless. Dp has just taken back over. Just too hot.

Better put the tumbling on, I know I know, should have done the washing much eatlier and got it out on the line, but I didn't.

Sent you my link life

em your legs! Looks like you've had a great day.

Cagliostro · 01/07/2018 23:20

Bouncy Carole 😂😂😂 she sounds... fun 🤔😉😳
In all honesty I would always gratefully accept anything seacow 😂 she has definitely filled out the 6-9m! Look at this chub! I love her thighs 😍 I do have 7 or so short sleeve vests in 9-12 already though and a few other bits snuggly sent ages ago 💐 so could coordinate between meadow and I... still need to PM as well... I am THE MOST DISORGANISED PERSON 🤦‍♀️🤯

£70 on new carrier. Eeeep! But it’s the brand I was most likely to go for in the end anyway (Tula) and my friend posted about a sale. And it came out of my PayPal so there’s still plenty in my bank for ikea. Just really hoping the baby likes it - she was very happy in the Caboo, but I haven’t used that for a month or more because she outgrew it, so I’m worried she will reject being ‘worn’ now. Regretting leaving it so long to choose 🤦‍♀️ but I was doing my usual “I can’t make a decision because I don’t like change, so I’m just going to ignore it” thing 🙄.

At least this one I can wear her on my back too which I think might work well for doing stuff in the house (I tried washing up with her in the sling once. She tried turning round to see what mummy was doing. I ended up flailing around like an octopus in Marigolds.) 🐙

ChristmasSeacow · 01/07/2018 23:43

I think Bouncy Carole sounds like the person everyone is trying to avoid at the office Christmas party. Maybe I’ll think of another name Wink

Yes, she’ll need the next size soon Cag! I’ve already put the stuff aside but need to wash a few more bits and also find a bigger box. There are lots of cute patterned short sleeved vests that I think will be useful (DD was sleeping in them until she went up a size, it’s too hot for sleeves at night here). The rest will probably fit in September anyway, so you should get some use out of it. Or even in August, as summer quite often buggers off once schools have broken up.

I have written giant to-do lists for before holiday / holiday itself. I am a bit worried I won’t get through it all! But I do love a list. I think we’ll need a roof box for the car but they look pretty expensive Confused

Cagliostro · 02/07/2018 00:07

I love a list too! Writing them that is. Completing them, not so much. The Moving Notebook is filling up though.

We will be in our new house THIS MONTH. Eeeeeeek.

Meeting mum at Ikea tomorrow, so she can sit with the Caglets once they get bored (or quite possibly stressed at the crowds - hoping it won’t be too bad though). We will choose their bedroom stuff first.

OP posts:
Cagliostro · 02/07/2018 00:10

I should really go to bed as tomorrow will be tiring. DH isn’t home yet, they found someone out cold on the pavement as they left the shop :( so were waiting for ambulance etc

ememem84 · 02/07/2018 06:48

Morning. So I am struggling to walk and I have a new assistant starting today!

This could be a fun day.

Also it’s baking hot again. So what to wear....skirt and bare legs and show off my bruises or trousers....

Wolfcub · 02/07/2018 07:36

Sea I can recommend the Roof Box Company
Cag enjoy your new house shopping
Em it’s too hot for anything but a skirt. I’m dreading tomorrow as I would never normally go to work without tights but it’s going to be 28 in London
Ds didnt sleep therefore I didn’t sleep.

Love well done on getting the job application in

ememem84 · 02/07/2018 07:43

Trousers. I went with trousers. A floaty white top and will throw on some rose gold sandals (even though I’m misssing a gel toe nail....)

ooof wolf London in this heat. Ick. Stay cool!

The Friendly Frugaleers, halfway through June!
CurlsandCurves · 02/07/2018 07:57

Morning, sorry for all those who had bad nights with hot and restless children. Mine are a bit older and with a fan in their rooms they’ve been ok. However looking ahead I don’t think the temperature is going to drop as much as it has from now on, I know I was too hot last night. Hot days I can kind of deal with, hot sticky nights, nope.

Must be mad I’m off to get even more hot and sweaty at Zumba this morning! At least there’s air con in the room.

P.S. Anyone got a referral code for Receipt Hog or Shoppix?
