Here for 28 NSD and counting how much is left at the end of the month

Yesterday was a NSD for me. My DH spent about £30 on petrol and some toiletries so I suppose that was essential buying. Today should be another NSD too in theory!

Gah81 · 06/02/2018 08:02

NSD for me yesterday. Took my team out for dinner last night but on the company credit card (was to say thank you for working so hard through a really tricky patch).

Today though I decided - possibly induced by the wine I had yesterday - that I really, really needed a ham and cheese croissant from Eat this morning! But apart from my £2.67 today should be a NSD.

mamapants · 06/02/2018 08:50

I will have the garage bill to pay today, which will hopefully sort out the problem already spent £300 on it that didn't solve the problem. Grrrr.
Was going to pick up some food but as I don't have a car think I'll just make do with what's in and pick some things up tomorrow instead.

drspouse · 06/02/2018 09:54

I'll have to buy lunch/coffee today as we're having a big meeting but lunch not provided and not near regular office with fridge/coffee maker.
But meeting should be productive (something I've been wanting to get sorted for a while) so that's OK.

PollyShelbyLifeCoachServices · 06/02/2018 16:17

NSD, got to wait two weeks for work to confirm if they have found more hours for me, fingers crossed it would be a massive weight off...

mamapants · 06/02/2018 18:36

£180 in the garage but have checked balance and seems good so far, so good I feel like I've probably forgotten something.
You get into the habit quite quickly though I think.
The only avoidable spending I've done in last month and a half really is some books for me, some felt tips for boys, two days at soft play, one swimming. Then everything else has been car, car, car, birthday party and presents. So pretty pleased with myself.

PirateYellowbelly · 06/02/2018 19:07

NSD for me again although not feeling any sense of accomplishment as all I seem to be doing is working ridiculous hours which doesn't even give me a chance to spend. I'll stop being miserable - think I just need half term!

chickenowner · 06/02/2018 19:21

NSD for me today, although this is easy for me when I'm at work!

I took in homemade breakfast and lunch, as well as some dried fruit and nuts and a flask of coffee so didn't need to buy anything.

NSD for me, but yesterday wasn't at all. Hmph, this month has a big fat holiday in, as well as a child's birthday and associated party, its a bit of a lost cause!
I'm going to do a PROPER no spend month in March, starting on the first Monday though as I've planned stuff that first weekend...
Need to make sure I don't spend extra in Feb as I know I'm banned in March!

Chimichangaz · 06/02/2018 21:29

Ended up spending 4.50 on bread, milk and a lucky dip...off to check my ticket....🤞🏻

Littlechocola · 06/02/2018 22:24

Ivy but I bet you look beautiful and feel relaxed.

I’ve been taking lunch to work but had eaten it by 9 am today (start at 06:45) so spent £2:20 on a sandwich. On the plus side.... I got a lunch break!

Unicorndiscoball · 06/02/2018 22:39

NSD here, but spent £101 at the garage yesterday and £6.50 on Amazon... (was on interview prep stuff though so I don’t feel too guilty-if I get this new job it will have been worth it!) will be a NSD tomorrow and Thursday I reckon as I’m working late both days, so literally no time! Well done to everyone. I honestly feel that keeping track is a step in the right direction. Honestly I have always been a fritterer, am trying very hard to mend my ways.

MiltonBurnedTheBuildingDown · 07/02/2018 07:09

£1 on a new hairbrush yesterday.

PootlesLovelyHat · 07/02/2018 08:47

Two NSDs in a row for me, feeling very virtuous 😇

ivykaty44 · 07/02/2018 10:52

My toes look pretty in pink 😄

Off to town today with friend so not hopeful of a NSD...
There are a couple of things I need so we will see how I get on..gym bag and brush and wash bag, or can I salvage stuff I already have ??

I’m doing okay I’ve spent £50 in Aldi , £3. On a school trip . but nothing exciting , thinking about Hal term budget ? Any ideas ?

drspouse · 07/02/2018 11:11

Dead car battery... £££

chickenowner · 07/02/2018 12:48

Not a NSD but doing well.

I spent 65p on a stamp and 32p on some ibuprofen.

Then I came home and made a pan of vegetable and chick pea curry and some dough to make into mint flatbreads to go with it. That's enough food for at least 3 meals for the 2 of us so I will put some in the freezer for another day.

Orangecake123 · 07/02/2018 14:10

I bought two small lemongrass and 4 plain white votive candles for £2.39 and this comes under food, but I also spent £3.50 on a 280g bar of chocolate which I feel guilty about. Total shopping was £14.53, which is under my weekly target of £16 but I have try to not go again until next saturday!

AdoraBell · 07/02/2018 14:54

Had to order a pair of shoes. Funeral coming up and I have nothing I can wear all day. £59 in Clarks. Just hope the wide fit fits when they arrive.

PirateYellowbelly · 07/02/2018 18:48

Third NSD this week. Need some more milk tomorrow and DH thinks we need dinner bits but I'm going to see if we can make do with what's in the fridge, freezer and cupboards.

Gah81 · 07/02/2018 19:15

ESOD. Had to pay cat sitter fees. Long day and really wanted to order a takeaway to the office but I resisted. I knew I had food at home and the thought of this thread kept me strong!

madamefraser · 07/02/2018 19:17

Spent £5 in local AE ( I'm fine ) was starving whilst waiting Sad
