Grin em . Can we have a strategically photographed bump photo? I bet you still look great.

SnugglySnerd · 21/09/2017 21:53

Laska I recently washed a disposable nappy that some idiot dh had dropped into the laundry basket instead of the bin. Luckily it had only been weed in but that made a he'll of a mess!

Welcome Fuzzy.

Em I am still quite fond of my leggings 6 months post-pregnancy. Soooo comfy.

£100 in Sainsbury's on weekly shop plus a few TU bits for the kids. I didn't even look at the grown ups clothes as I didn't trust myself.

Very very tired. DD2 has already been up crying this evening. It could be a long night.

100yearsdotcom · 21/09/2017 22:04

Seacow ah the strategic vomiting and poonamis... the glamour is almost too much to bear! 😂 I have certain clothes that work best for me at the moment and I think they're all going to be worn out by the end of the year at this rate!

LonelyOversharer · 21/09/2017 22:39

Oh an all glam night here. Our one (only) toilet is BLOCKED. This is very bad news and prompted an emergency trip to our 24hr tesco. But the plunger is crap so I'll bring the good one from the shop tomorrow. It is at least flushing now, but dp had some poo to deal with Envy < vom

We finally had the chicken in a quick stew, I put a bit too much chipolte grinder stuff in, it was very warming! Will flesh leftovers out for soup tomorrow.

Hi fuzzy we're a good lot here, even if we go off topic, 'tis always supportive!

Nothing makes a mess like a nappy in the wash. I just tumble dry the lot, as it dries back out and brushes off, but its amazing how much jelly there is in them.

I'm going to look into a dumpy bag of logs tomorrow for the wood burner. We have a lot of free soft wood, but need some hard wood logs to go with it. There has been a lot of logging round here lately. Would it be thieving really bad to stop and pick up the little discarded bits? All the big logs have been carted off already. It's definatley chilly enough in the evenings for a wee fire.

mammymammyIRL · 21/09/2017 23:40

Glad I stepped in & caught up before bed. So laska is leaving her dh because of a tissue lonely is having toilet troubles & em's relaxing as she should be at this point
Need you've very dainty feet, I'm minus a toenail thanks to my half in june. I removed it before Sunday so that it wouldn't happen mid run & then realised my sandals were peeptoe & had to paint the toe Hmm

Welcome fuzzy

I've been spendy today - booked a trip to Birmingham Christmas markets for Nov €99 pps incl flights hotel & hot breakfast for 2 nights for myself & my cousin €30 on littlewoods account on some Nike capri running tights, I've only one pair that I like wearing & after 7 years they're more brown than black, they may still go back, €1.70 on a scrubbing brush for our homegrown veg €2 on a bar of choc - high fibre low cal & delicious €22.50 in Tesco on bread, 108 clothespegs, granola, tomato purée & johnsons baby shampoo. €20 registering for women's group & registered my friend also. €320 to mechanic & bill for €100 for au pairs car which finally passed nct

lifelongfrugaleer · 22/09/2017 06:26

My pleasuresea

WreckTangled · 22/09/2017 06:34

Seacow your drs surgery have to see a baby under twelve months same day my law so if they say they're full remind them of that...

Mammy that sounds like a good deal.

Aiming for a nsd today sort of. It's pay day so I've put money in the joint account and given dh the money I owe him. Meh.

Loveabaconsandwich · 22/09/2017 06:53

Meh indeed wreck

Realised yesterday I had subway for lunch followed by dominos for dinner. Ooops. Healthy and nutritious here.

Need to do a big shop in Tesco today probably followed by a trip to a big sainsburys for 25% off TU.

Hiding in bed as DP got up with DD2 about an hour ago. So tired.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/09/2017 07:17

woodburner Envy I'd pick the wood up. Hell, I'd be skip diving for free heating.

There's another tu 25% off in October according to those that know these things. Dh proper loves his brushed cotton jammies, he actually sleeps in them Shock I've kept the receipt as my M&S pj shrunk on the first wash. They are going back if they shrink.

My Christmas big shop nectar cards hit £110. Am relieved. Seeing as I'm allergic to most Christmas treats & Dh doesn't like them I might be able to stretch it to a two week shop if I do enough surveys. I don't earn much in December/January as lots of my patients pass away at Christmas so it's always tight financially.

Dn has told me we don't need to buy them presents. Either they feel sorry for us or their short too. Will investigate.

ememem84 · 22/09/2017 07:32

For love I've posted this of myself on instagrambook and it does have my face in it. But have cropped have out as I have zero make up on and look a bit mardy! Haha!

This was yesterday.

I may venture out today - we need fruit. Although dh popped to the shop last night to fetch butter/spread as we'd run out and I'd forgotten to put it on my list and came back with Alpen cereal bars and frazzles. Maybe I don't need to go anywhere after all. Mmm frazzled 🥓🥓

Still frugaleering into Autumn.....
lifelongfrugaleer · 22/09/2017 07:44

That's a lovely neat bump em

mammymammyIRL · 22/09/2017 07:53

I typed that several times lifelong and then thought well she probably feels like a heffalump!! I just am Envy of the slender legs Smile

LonelyOversharer · 22/09/2017 07:57

I'm sure you feel huge em but you are very neat there. I'm sure everyone is telling you how neat your bump is. I was like a barn door at 38+ weeks.

fluffy I will swap you my wood burner for another working toilet! Dp and I have the thrill of a manhole cover lift and plunge to go tonight! 6 people, 3 girls who use copious quantities of loo roll= 2x annual loo block. Sadly we need an extension to fit another loo in.

CollieBobs · 22/09/2017 08:14

NSD today and also a No Spend Weekend

ememem84 · 22/09/2017 08:18

Feel enormous. Know that in reality I'm not.

Am seriously hoping the end is near. Baby is doing some serious wiggling and pressing. we are ready. Or as ready as one can be for baby 1...are you ever prepared?!

Result yesterday too - when dm was rummaging about in wardrobe in spare room she found my fake longchamp bag. Yay. I'd been looking for that for ages. Good work dm. So now I can use that as my hospital bag instead of the one I've got packed.

Dh has made me breakfast. Seriously runny dip tastic boiled eggs. Something I've avoided since finding out about baby (even though in my mind I know they're probably ok if they're lion stamped, and I've never had any egg problems). My god they were delicious. And proper lovely buttery toast soldiers for dipping. Love a dippy dippy egg.

CollieBobs · 22/09/2017 10:24

fluffy impressive! We're always struggle in January because DH gets paid pre Christmas and then at the end of January so it's usually a 6 week gap! Our Nectar balance is only £36. I think it's because mycoupons ended. Do you still do the Nectar surveys? I'd love our balance to be £50ish. it makes a huge difference in January for us.

ememem84 · 22/09/2017 12:14

£16 ish in m&s on fruit, mayo, falafels and humous (am making falafeks for dinner but just in case it all goes tits up...)

£10 ish in boots on maternity pads, breast pads, baby bath wash. Have £45 worth of points on my card too. Woohoo!

Found a new fave treat in m&s. Chocolate covered peanut butter caramel bites. Oh. My. Goodness. They are divine. I absolutely did not eat the entire bag on the way home. Wink

LonelyOversharer · 22/09/2017 13:22

I'm doing a massive tidy up of 'my' bits of the shop, and have found a forgotten jacket of dd3's. Its age 7-8 and mountain warehouse, that lovely waterproof sort of almost neoprene. Does anyone want it? It's barely been worn. Free to a good home. She wears a 9-10 now so it's been tucked away (in my hoard) a long time!

It was so lovely this morning, settled to steady rain again.

I actually got a survey last night, woo hoo. Dog food. 50 whole p.

Still frugaleering into Autumn.....
WreckTangled · 22/09/2017 13:24

Oh lonely that would be perfect for dd if no one else wants it? Do you want postage money?

SnugglySnerd · 22/09/2017 13:33

You look great Em. Any day now...

Beautiful sunny day here. Lots of washing out and will get out for a walk this afternoon. NSD.

LonelyOversharer · 22/09/2017 13:37

wreck it's yours. Just pm me and we'll let the shop post it, I have a big bag to get off to snuggly as well.

ChristmasSeacow · 22/09/2017 13:40

Better night - thanks DD!

Inspired by Em I have just had dippy eggs for lunch and am now dunking a digestive in my tea. It's all about the dipping today.

Pic is of last night's efforts. For DS's class. I didn't think brown buttons really stood out so to be on the safe side I ate all of the brown smarties Wink

Still frugaleering into Autumn.....
WreckTangled · 22/09/2017 13:44

Seacow they're amazing!!

Thanks lonely that's so kind. I'll pm you after school (I totally just put a kids then until I remembered I was on mn BlushGrin)

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/09/2017 14:04

collie

I do nectar surveys, Dh has a card too so I do surveys for both of us, then I do e-rewards surveys. These pay out more, 100-500 points a survey, so we each have one of those too. I keep the old survey invites & go back to them. Sometimes you get a survey, sometimes not.

If you aren't registered with e-rewards log into the desktop nectar site & search for e-rewards and a link will come up. Each account gets a bonus 250 points when registering. It's invite only so you can't just register which would be easier.

Select the focus group option when you do the profiles. I did an online focus group that paid really well. You can link nectar cards to sainsburys online and do an online shop but pay with points.

We have the pre-Christmas pay thing too. January's a bleak month anyway without finances being tight.

Seacow It was the right thing to do 😂 They look so neatly iced.

£2.19 top up shop in Aldi forgot the butter🙄 Have brown bread flour for my lunches next week.

Messed up the online shop, thought I'd booked tonight but booked tm night instead. Whoops Blush

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/09/2017 14:08

oh & my shotgun app paid out £5 in amazon vouchers.

Anyone can download it.
