cag yep he is. I still can't quite believe we're at this point.

Fri-yay!!! Last day of actual alarm clock alarm for a while. Will still have my catface alarm and soon baby alarm. But the clock alarm has been turned off!!!!

Spendy day today. Must stop by the bakery for cake for the office £20 ish I guess (donuts croissants pastries) then dh and I are having a dinner out tonight - nothing fancy just either fish and chips at the beach bar or a chippy tea depending on how full beach bar is. Yay! 🍟🍟🍤🍤

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/09/2017 07:14

Frugal win with the boiler Need plus capability points.

Sea Sad Ouch. It's not like you can just put her down either.

This weekend I'm going to try making Mayo. I can't have shop bought due to a sulphite allergy unless it's organic which is the same price as gold so I'm going to make it. Hopefully. That and soda bread which hopefully I'll find a breadmaker recipe for.

Is everyone aware of Reasties Christmas bargain thread?.

WreckTangled · 15/09/2017 07:28

Well done need!

Happy last day em Flowers

I need more petrol again which is ridiculous gone through so much this week!

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/09/2017 07:36

Morning, just reading back

LonelyOversharer · 15/09/2017 07:51

fluffy I made mayo using a stick blender whick worked so well. I used a you tube demo. Tis chemistry in action.

em have a great day! Baby boy is certainly making his presence known, a head in the pelvis certainly sharpens up your pain receptors! It is a wierd bonkers feeling. He'll be better out than in soon!

yumyumpoppycat · 15/09/2017 08:12

Fluffy, I am using Reastie's thread, unfortunately this is why I am unlikely to post a NSD any time soon Blush

Excited for you Em Flowers

Thanks Girlie for thread and Laska for pointing the way here Grin

yumyumpoppycat · 15/09/2017 08:15

Fluffy, soda bread doesn't to rise - lightly and gently mix the dough into an oval cut a cross in it and plonk it on a baking sheet, this will mean no hole in the middle. Advantage of bread machine might be less mess and poss cheaper than using oven though?

Cagliostro · 15/09/2017 08:18

Best of luck for your last day em!

I am getting super frustrated having done 3 needle things and got no blood for testing.

Grumpy now as I also can't go to the first sports club of the term with my friends as I have my injection appt and I don't even know if they'll let me have it as I am getting a cold, I've been awake hours and am exhausted 😡😡😡

ememem84 · 15/09/2017 08:29

We actually can't wait to meet him now and show him off introduce him to family and friends. (But please stay in there a few more days )

Seems like only a few months ago we were telling people this was happening. Bonkers madness.

CollieBobs · 15/09/2017 08:34

I love making soda bread!

Mammy well done!

I had a Jawbone Up 3 for counting steps / calories & heart rate and it was really good but the company folded and my band & app stopped working. I'm not sure if the two are related but it sucks that we paid £80 for it last year and now it doesn't work at all.

I'd love a refund just to buy a fitbit with the money.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 15/09/2017 09:01

I had a similar problem with my up3. Had it a year before the strap broke and the couldn't replace it because they've stopped doing fitness trackers. Have replaced with a Fitbit Flex2. Much easier to make 10,000 steps with.

Happy last day, Em. Don't forget the tissues.

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/09/2017 09:17

Em I hope they've bought you both lots of nice presents Flowers switching the alarm off must've felt fab!.

Lonely, I had forgotten my stick blender! Thank you.

Turns out soda bread isn't for breadmaker but I can bake it in the halogen oven.

needastrongone · 15/09/2017 09:44

Interested to see the results of the mayo experiment fluffy.

wrecked, can you claim the petrol back?

Poor you seacow, she's really making you work through the tiny baby period isn't she, bless her?

Good luck for your last day Em, I seem to recall last year when you were desperate to BE pregnantSmile

Heard from DS last night, chuffed to bits to hear from him on his 18th, he didn't text DH, so he's pissed off!

needastrongone · 15/09/2017 09:45

I'll check the Christmas thread, but always seems to be the majority of toys and small DC stuff, fair enough but no relevant to us. Self, self self hereGrin

needastrongone · 15/09/2017 09:48

Looks like another bombAngrySadShock

CollieBobs · 15/09/2017 10:37

Frugaleering here. Have baked brownies. And DS asked me for a new carpark. Even if I had the money I would say "no DS, you'll need to wait for your bday or Christmas!" Grin so I found a printable carpark layout on Pinterest for kids. Which he loves!!

Sainsburys arrived and there were no short dated items, no ridiculous substitutions and no missing items Grin well done Sainsburys! First time in 6 weeks!

I haven't automatically renewed the delivery saver as I'm hoping I can get a money off voucher soon. I don't want to pay full price if I can help it.

I've been quite slack with Christmas stuff. I was on a role. Then lost interest but can see prices going up on toys already so DH and I need to start buying stuff this week. Some items that we follow on CamelCamelCamel have gone up by £10 since September 1st! Blush bollocks!

Cagliostro · 15/09/2017 10:49

Woohoo first junior sports club sessions going well and lucratively :o

Had to do the test on the pad of my finger as it worked better.

And then I had a massive nosebleed Hmm :o

Cagliostro · 15/09/2017 10:50

Shit just saw the thread about the explosion. WTF. 😰😰😰

mammymammyIRL · 15/09/2017 11:17

Please tell me if the tagging wrecks yer heads Grin

@Cagliostro thanks, just discovered that if we do @ symbol in front of your name you get tagged in the post and get an email notification!

Miss you @cremeeggthief
@ChristmasSeacow I've warned dh we have to cut back even more this year, Christmas was more costly than planned last year. I bought Fitbit Charge HR on ebay it was an old model but new in box and is serving me very well. I think I'll purchase one for dh to show him why he's gaining weight because he's eating more than he's burning off and not getting enough shuteye!

@ememem84 I just read your username backwards for first time Grin It won't be all youyouyou for long moreGrin

@colliebobs thanks

@fluffycloudland77 Is halogen oven worth it? Every now and then I debate one, but I've a lot of kitchen equipment and not much counterspace and wonder if I'd get the use out of it. My halo cooks a whole chicken in 40 mins, so maybe it's similar, it's like the oilless fryer with a grill option on it as well

I plan to make no bake weetabix slices this weekend, saw a recipe and they look yummy and they hit almost 5g fibre per slice which is something I'm chasing constantly, high fibre means I've a flat tummy Grin

@needastrongone in case you were feeling left out Grin
ok I went tag overload here Grin

Laska5772 · 15/09/2017 11:24

Stupidly happy [shallow person emoticon]. They are all shiny and glittery also..

Still frugaleering into Autumn.....
needastrongone · 15/09/2017 11:44

Don't worry Mammy, I'm used to being ignoredWinkGrin

Did I congratulate you on the weight loss btw?

They are LUSH laska, think fluffy and em need someGrin

Just in the process of complaining vigorously about something, always makes me feel empowered!

ememem84 · 15/09/2017 11:53

laksa gorgeous. need is right. I NEED these. It's been a tough day so far. Two cups of tea a donut and email filing. Lunch in a bit. So stressful being me right now. 🤣😂

Laska5772 · 15/09/2017 11:57

And you also need Grin What do you think of laces? Shall i try black ones?

SunnyLikeThursday · 15/09/2017 11:58

Good luck Em on these last few days. For me in this stage, time seemed to go very slowly for a while, as I was so aware of every little change. Then finally it was all done. Smile I hope you have a nice easy time. We'll be sending the encouraging vibes from here and looking forward to having you back.

mammymammyIRL · 15/09/2017 12:16

need I'm quite sure you did the last time I boasted about it Grin
It's such a revelation to be able to eat so much and still be toning up and losing! Today I'd a lovely bowl of porridge with raspberries, blueberries, 3 dates(for sweetness) and some flaxseed for brekkie, then at 10am two wholewheat crispbakes with nutella and sliced banana. Lunch is beans on hovis 7 seeded bread, dinner spag bol, going to have a hike bar at some point and I need to get more protein in and possibly some more carbs for half on Sunday.

@Laska5572 they're fabulous, your pic is way nicer than the stock photo also
