Worth it cag you save more in bus tickets than you get in interest I bet. For balance I have £33 in my isa. Which is pathetic. But credit cards to pay off first.

Cagliostro · 25/04/2017 10:01

Same we have debts also, will probably empty it completely because it's not actually doing any good sitting there really. Gutting but have to use the money in the most sensible way!

Loveabaconsandwich · 25/04/2017 13:10

It's quiet on here today!

Totally exhausted today as couldn't sleep after a long day at work yesterday

£9 Gap on sale clothes for DC and had a gift voucher
£23 Asda, including trainers for DD2
£12 refund on return from M&S (I'm getting good at returning purchases that have not been used within 3 weeks of buying)

Think I'm going to have a nap while my little one naps Blush

Coppersulphate · 25/04/2017 14:49

No work today so just faffing about in the garden. Earthed up potatoes and planted some hanging baskets..which are put well away in a sheltered place for now.
Little DGS will have a one off operation to mend the faulty right heart valve. Because it's the right one they said it was rare and needs to be open heart surgery. If it goes ok then he won't need on going interventions.
Sorry about the job All.
I am tired and teary at the moment. Sitting down feeling sorry for myself. Ridiculous really as, in the main I have a good life. Am lucky really.

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/04/2017 15:42

Nsd yesterday and today. Yippee

needastrongone · 25/04/2017 15:49

Thanks guys for the non wanky comments. Grin

Copper I am so desperately sorry to hear about you DGS, what an awful time for your family and you. It's totally understandable for you to be tired and tearful, this is so shocking for you all. Fingers crossed the one off operation will work.

All I'm so sorry about the job interview, it's hard not to take it personally but really they are just looking for a tick box skill set exercise most times. I bet you were close.

Sleep while you can Bacon.

Holly You needed the hot chocolate. Yes, definitely a spring marathon. Marathons are my distance and this will be my first in 8 or 9 years, blimey!

Laska Just love the happy style of writing you have and it's chatty nature! I remember your worries about your DS so I'm chuffed to hear your news.

Where's Fluffy? You okay?

Spends today.
£20 nails.
£45 hair.
£10 exercise class for myself and DD.

Gosh we are quiet here today!

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Just £25 top up in morrisons, no asics found to try on, so will order some online. £1 parking in town (for nothing).

We had a monstrous hailstorm, they looked like sherbet pips shows age what has happened to the weather!!

SunnyLikeThursday · 25/04/2017 16:32

I'm so sorry to hear that your DGS is having to have that operation Copper. What a thing to have to think your way through. Take care there and good luck for it.

It's an odd coincidence, but Ds had a cardiac ultrasound this morning as well. It was all normal, thank goodness. I've to keep shovelling in the iron.

My head is completely full of learning about Beavers, and I have online courses to do. I'm really quite excited about it. I had no idea the Scout association would give me what amounts to free online parenting courses. I'd have signed up years ago if I'd known.

WreckTangled · 25/04/2017 16:42

£30 fuel
£1.48 in lidl on couscous for Ds (it's the only one which will do as he loves it!) and a muffin for me Blush
£4.30 parking. I can claim all the parking back luckily as it'll be almost £90 a month! There is a season ticket you can get but there's a waiting list...

ememem84 · 25/04/2017 17:34

&4.90 on lunch today bad girl but necessary as we have a lack of food in the house. Bought satay chicken noodle salad. And a fancy San peligrino lemon drink.

Laska5772 · 25/04/2017 18:37

Copper Hello , I am just catching up , Just to say how very sorry I am about your DGS and how worried to you all must be.. I know how you feel as we had a scary time with our DGD when she was born last year (luckily she seems to be fine now ) ..

But just thinking of you.. I know just how frightening it is when the little ones (especially) are so poorly..
.. Hope all goes well.

CremeEggThief · 25/04/2017 18:44

I'm an auntie again. My sister had a little boy by Caesarean this morning. 8 pounds, 8 ounces AND he was born at 37 weeks! GrinThey're giving him the name of their friend who died in the fire on Saturday morning as his middle name (it's the same as one of my DS's middle names, as my friend died in a fire in 2000 had the same name), which is a lovely tribute, I think. My BIL is going to be a pall bearer at the funeral tomorrow. So much joy and sadness for them at this time.

Spends: yes £25 weekly bus ticket. NSD today.

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/04/2017 18:45

Ah that's lovely crème.

mammymammyIRL · 25/04/2017 19:08

Laska5772 · 25/04/2017 19:24

Congrats on being an auntie gain Creme .. yes, joy and sadness..

Laska5772 · 25/04/2017 19:39

Fluffy my BF has a RolfH (print) on her dining room wall, It gives me the utter creeps everytime we eat dinner there .. a truly horrible man .. But she doesnt seem to see the problem.....

ememem84 · 25/04/2017 19:41

cag I was fine. Then stopped the fibre drinks. Ffs. Should have known.

It'll be ok. I'm eating a fuckton lot of fruit and veg.

Gnocchi pesto for dinner. Mmmm.

We may have found our forever house. Dh is number crunching. If we go for a 20 year mortgage instead of a 25 year we'll be able to borrow less bit repayments will be £2000 a month. Eeek. I think we're going to offer though. It has everything. Detached. Nice garden. Great kitchen. 3 bedroom. Fitted wardrobes. Utility (with sink tumble and washer and extra fridge) storeage shed. Parking for 3 cars. Right location.

Eeek.

ememem84 · 25/04/2017 19:42

creme congrats on auntie status again!!!
