It can happen Christmas. It could be where baby is lying though. My physio advised sit on the corner of a dining chair and lean forward slightly to isolate the front of the pelvic floor.

Got 1 box music magpie, 2 box ziffit, 1 charity bag, 10 items on eBay and some fancy dress outfits for the school

ememem84 · 06/03/2017 12:47

I know. But I think insurance will cover some of it. This included a stock of flea treatment and also a working tablet (not looking forward to trying to get her to take that).

Washing on. And I've put dhs clothes away.

Ipsomatic · 06/03/2017 13:03

Thanks Christmas. A quick visit isn't really an option, or leaving ds at home. We both have health troubles and aren't really in a position to do anything quickly. I don't normally travel at all except walking into town so it's a bit stress just thinking of needing to make a visit 500 miles away.

I've done some planning though and think it could be done. We could take the sleeper train which might be nice and I have found a lovely house we could rent so we'd have our own space. I even found a school place for ds in case we need to stay longer than a week.

Such a lot of worry though. I've got a dentist appointment for Wednesday and am trying to be cool calm and collected, but not with 100% success. Grin

On the plus side, the GP has referred ds to be checked for a heart murmur so we're making small inroads into figuring out what might be wrong. It's all just one step at a time.

Thank you for all your lovely posts. It's so nice to have the frugaleer nattering to read when there is stress in the homestead.

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/03/2017 13:28

Dropped charity bag off, £18 in butchers next door. Saves me going Saturday

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/03/2017 13:36

Just when I thought the pinnacle of my day was cleaning the tumbler filter, the drive drain and sweeping the garage carpet don't ask my finger I cut on a bean can has bled through 2 plasters. I'm going to have to get it glued aren't I.

Fucking hell I need to go back to work tomorrow. I can't cope with this rock and roll life. Grin

WreckTangled · 06/03/2017 13:49

Oh no life!

Life I was just about to say that I totally sympathise with your rock and roll life when my ten year old laptop froze and I had to hard reboot it. So I am definitely on the same page as you. I hope your finger recovers.

It's started hailing here, which is really odd as it's quite warm.

ememem84 · 06/03/2017 14:33

Highlight of my day. Opening the new delivery of wet catfood which arrived 2 weeks ago. To find that 4 of the tuna sachets had opened. Eugh. Eugh. Eugh. Vom.

So all sachets have been cleaned and put back in the cupboard.

I'm never going to be able to unsmell that smell.

ememem84 · 06/03/2017 14:35

I've also hoovered and picked up enough fur to make a new cat.

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/03/2017 14:44

Oh em you need to go and smell pretty flowers or zoflora or cakes or something.

Ive put 2 new plasters on so we will see what happens. Ive also hoovered out my car.
The good news is i have a new boiler and they are all done.
I need to get some food tonight as we are out of apples, tomatoes, cooked meats, tuna and other lunch stuff.

looking at new cars too with all this diesel bashing going on - reckon i need about 7-8 £k - bye bye savings....

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/03/2017 14:45

Em do you have crocs or other rubber type shoe - run your croc-ed foot over the carpet even after hoovering. OMG. We used to do it with jdog and the hair....

SnugglySnerd · 06/03/2017 14:50

Ouch Life! I did that once on a tin can and a still have the scar.

Em tuna is the worst thing ever, let alone when you are pregnant.

Should have been NSD but the window cleaner came and we owed him from last time so that was £12.

Have done a bit of housework, mainly cleaning up all the mess the cat makes, why are they such messy eaters??

ememem84 · 06/03/2017 14:51

life I have a little rubber brush for the carpet. My mum bought it for me because my hair is thick and falls out a lot.

ememem84 · 06/03/2017 14:53

snuggly I love tuna.

I've febreezed the room. Have lit the last of my jo Malone pomegranate candle. And have shoved my face in the washing powder (lovely smell).

ememem84 · 06/03/2017 14:53

Oh and I'm eating by Minstrels.

MeadowHay · 06/03/2017 15:30

In a super boring lecture. snoozes

Needastrongone · 06/03/2017 16:35

Guten tag! Checking back in after our weekend in Cologne. It went really well and wasn't too expensive either. We flew on Friday night & my friend met us at the airport. Then sightseeing and lunch out on Saturday (we paid for the meal so 90€ for 8 of us). Dh & ds went to the football in Moenchengladbach in the evening (tickets already bought, 29 € on the train), I went round the shops with dd, my friend & her daughter but didn't buy anything. We chilled out in the evening while the boys were at the football. On Sunday we went for a walk local to friends' house and then ate at home before going back to the airport. The dc loved it and got on well with my friend's dc and both had a good go at the language which can only be a good thing. Dh managed the flights okay and I reckon the whole weekend , including all spends, flights, football etc was around £600 for the 4 of us which I don't think is too bad really.

I'm not back in work until Wednesday so have been busy unpacking, washing etc. met Mum for lunch which she paid for, I just paid £4 for extra drinks as we were ages chatting away. Also spent £6.64 in farm shop on bits for tea.

Great ebay result last night, I sold a pair of shoes for £30 and my old overlocker (type of sewing machine I bought 20 years ago but barely used) for £42. Have also listed a fish tank & lots of bits of related equipment. Not much interest in that so far but will wait & see.

Need to meal plan & do a shopping list for tomorrow.

Will read back properly later.

WreckTangled · 06/03/2017 16:54

Impressive need

IdStillRatherBeKnitting · 06/03/2017 17:37

wreck ds used to do that! Had to be in a very specific known only to him order. We don't have enough floor space now.

Had to buy coffee, and got 2 coconut milk for £2 in coop. I love it. And no one else drinks it, so thats a huge bonus.

I have been frugally busy, have built a wall, using bricks I bought eight years ago, block pavers from my new unopened (bought this time last year) pack, and we only needed a tenner of unleaded to fill the cement mixers tank. I am very pleased with it, my patio has a border, and the terraces up to the top part of the garden has been started.

Needastrongone · 06/03/2017 17:38

Ha, I'm glad you like my big box Grin

So, I've made £30 selling stuff this weekend and it's all been posted off too.

Spends today.
£31 M&S. Had a £5 off voucher. Also part of this spends was for DM, which enabled me to utilise the voucher. And I got my chocolates he he.

Also have to pay for some competitions for DD, which will be over £100, not pleased.

However, DH has told me his dividend figure for the year, and I am very pleased with that, even more pleased than my choccie bargain.

Needastrongone · 06/03/2017 17:42

Knitting Did you build the wall yourself? WOW!!
