Unprovoked assault is very serious audit. He sound very grown up, you should be very proud.
Who knows what today may bring. It's sunny so maybe gardening or out to a park. DS has to do a spring walk for homework and as it's the first day of spring. Church first though.

Ememem84 · 20/03/2016 07:18

Why would you be suprised audit as above its assault. The police have a duty to take it seriously. your ds sounds great really strong.

Should be nsd today although we may need to buy milk.

More chores to be done and I think dinner with parents tonight.

WreckTangled · 20/03/2016 07:26

Aiming for nsd. Going to my aunts for breakfast Smile

Pointlessfan · 20/03/2016 08:22

Sorry to hear about that audit, pleased the police are dealing with it.
My turn to be hungover today, feel rough as a badger's arse!

Ememem84 · 20/03/2016 08:52

pointless make sure you lie about and moan a lot. Dh felt much better after doing that all day....

I've sent him to the shop. For hot cross buns. I realised it's Easter next week and by this point I'd usually have eaten my bodyweight in them.

Pointlessfan · 20/03/2016 08:57

I'm trying to be brave!!

Ememem84 · 20/03/2016 08:59

Full fat Coke and McDonald's breakfast. Strong sweet tea. And a multi vitamin.

You'll be fine. You don't strike me as a wussy. Grin

AuditAngel · 20/03/2016 09:17

I second a McDonalds breakfast, but the full fat Coke I can't do (makes my teeth feel coated in slime) I'd go for full fat lemonade

AuditAngel · 20/03/2016 09:20

I am very proud of DS, this is a child who was bullied most of his way through primary school.

I think the police woman was quite impressed by him too. At one point she was asking questions to get him to describe how he did something. His answer was "discretely" I laughed and said I was expecting his description to be "surruptitiously" and she laughed and said that was exactly why she hadn't used that word in her questions to him.

Cagliostro · 20/03/2016 09:48

Well done to your DS Audit - do you know if/how they are going to find this nasty woman?

Nocuts Arrietty is one of my favourite Ghiblis :) the song at the end is beautiful, I'm trying to find the piano music for it. My most recent buys were Steamboy, Laputa, Earthsea and Princess Mononoke. Hoping to get the Little Norse Prince next, it's lovely. And I love your slippers! For Christmas DD chose me some converse style shoes with the Kiki's Delivery Service logo on. The kid knows me so well :o

I should really get out of bed now. Must get on with more decluttering :)

Ipsos · 20/03/2016 11:03

Well done your ds Audit. :-)

We're continuing to have quite a cheap week while we battle our way through proper old fashioned flu.

CremeEggThief · 20/03/2016 11:14

Hope you both feel better soon, ipsosBrew.

Pointlessfan · 20/03/2016 11:17

Thanks Em, I don't eat meat but full fat coke would probably sort me out. We have people coming round later so I need to get going!

Ememem84 · 20/03/2016 11:21

ipsos take it easy. I vaguely remember having flu once. Completely wiped me out. Feel better X

Have just emailed our old telephone/broadband/mobile provider. They have £4.67 in credit on dh's old account. I found some unopened post. Have asked them to send a cheque. Dh has been meaning to do this for 2 years....

Have also been to the dump this morning and have done two loads of washing.

Operation slow declutter is beginning.

Taytocrisps · 20/03/2016 11:23

Had a busy (and expensive) few days as we had some friends staying with us for St. Patrick's Day/weekend Shamrock. Back on the frugal wagon today and it should be a NSD. I'm having two of DD's little friends over for an Easter treasure hunt tomorrow, but I've everything in for it already.

Get well soon Ipsos

Audit I wonder if the police will pursue it? The 'lady' in question might argue that she was simply tapping your DS on the arm. It's a pity the cameras didn't catch the incident.

Cagliostro glad you enjoyed your holiday

bees I don't recognize you from the name change but that was so mean of your colleagues to out you

Ipsos · 20/03/2016 11:30

Thanks Em and Creme. Yes it is an odd one.

We seem to be into spring now and the clock change is due soon. Can't wait tbh. A bit of garden fun seems well overdue.

babsmam · 20/03/2016 12:21

Take it easy ipsos
And it's started raining here so my plans are scuppered. Ah well baking it is, also need to get summer stuff from the loft and see what still fits my weeds

Ememem84 · 20/03/2016 13:30

Have been banished to the bedroom. Dh invited his mates over. Without telling me. They're watching football and playing some stupid actually looks really good Japanese hotel escape board game.

Dh bought a one day pass to sky sports via now tv. I am tempted to change the wifi password. So the tv doesn't work.

So much for my quiet Sunday vegging and watching crap movies on tv.

I've holed up in bed am eating tuna melt Dhs side he hates tuna and have brought all the good snacks with me. #notannoyedatall

I don't mind his mates. They're great. It's more the intrusion on my Sunday I hate. Bah. They've all got girlfriends who said no to everyone going round apparently.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 20/03/2016 13:33

Hope everyone is enjoying first day of spring

Have sorted our annual leave so ds1 only has to do 10days in holiday club over summer hols which is good. Easter only 2days and may half term 2days does mean we have less time all of together but think we do better than most

Have spent couple hrs in sun in garden cleaning the playhouse put and washing all garden toys almost shat myself with the huggggeee spider we found dh power hosed it off the toy lawn mower!! Ds2 has been in puddle suit splashing in water andf chewing pon stuff he prob shouldn't

Cagliostro · 20/03/2016 13:50

I'm liking your style of vengeance Em :o

What's the board game called please? Always on the lookout for more games to add to my enormous wishlist...

Very productive morning here, furniture moved (not by me obviously - I was the director :o) and we're gradually getting more organised. Although in the meantime the living room looks like a stampede has passed through it.

Ememem84 · 20/03/2016 13:52

I'm not sure!! I feigned disinterest. I'll find out though.

WreckTangled · 20/03/2016 14:02

It's cloudy and cold here. Had a lovely full English at my aunts plus pancakes. Yum. Then we took the dc to the playground.

I'm busy looking at bridesmaid dresses Smile

northender · 20/03/2016 14:19

Haven't posted for a few days & the hardest thing to manage is the name changes! I think I know who everyone is.
Well done Audit's ds
I feel your pain pointless, not hungover today but quite easily could've been.
DS and I are on our own this weekend as dh has gone down to Devon on the train with dd. it's lovely weather here so I'm about to go out & do some gardening. Went to church this morning, asked ds to hang washing out & came home to find he had worked out how to use spindryer and spun it out first. This is truly uncharacteristic behaviour Shock.
Went out for tea last night at the pub but my friend paid so not too spendy. Dd needs new black leggings & managed to get 2 pairs from m&s for £2. I used a £5 offer code that came out this week (with a 3 day window for use) and a £5 credit card reward voucher I had left.
After gardening I'm going to make brownies with ds and try mixing mini eggs in.
Going to cricket club later as I'm social secretary and need to finalise a newsletter. Then later on, pick up dh & dc from station. Busy, busy, busy..........

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/03/2016 14:29

Together you and I will re-introduce spin dryers to the general public North

lilacclery · 20/03/2016 14:42

Em I've also been decluttering.
Your dh did this after fri nights boozing, didn't catch up on what happened yesterday yet.
I'd take myself out & put it on his card! Grin
