HI there , just caught up !!

Girlie I Didnt quite get that? Grin

BuTGirlie I do NEED NEED NEED to know where you got your red boots from.. Wink

need what a lovely, lovely ring and what a lovely DH you have .. ( for the same reason I havent mentioned the sapphire solitaire earstuds my lovelt unfrugal DH bought me for Christmas , but I love them so much)

End of month , I have come in £30 over due to DS running out of cash for his phone bill , but I can live withthat ,, he is trying so hard to live on his very low apprentice) pay .. I am really proud of him .

Spent £38 on petrol and £ 45 on groceries this week ,

Great news about our DGD , she is now off all assistance and has made so much progress she mayeven be able to go home next week.. Quite a little fighter , considering less than 2 weeks ago m there were fears whether she woul make it ..

babsmam · 27/02/2016 15:54

Didn't quite catch that girlie Grin

Good news laska.

Welcome to all the new people too.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 27/02/2016 16:13

Oh for Gods sake Confused sorry about that folks no idea what happened there Shock Grin

Laska thats brilliant news, you all must be so relieved.

The boots came from TReds (I think thats what its called anyway....)

Am tentatively going to attempt to post this now

babsmam · 27/02/2016 16:27

207 nice. Should be roomy enough for you all

MinnieLatte · 27/02/2016 16:32

£32 in Asda on enough food to feed an army of people who are descending on us to watch rugby this afternoon! They're all bringing stuff as well so I don't feel ripped off- they're 'real friends'! The sort who come armed with enough Prosecco to sink a ship & food to feed the 5000!
Baking this afternoon with DD for fundraising at school next week, all smells lovely & im trying not to steal any as I'm trying so hard to lose weight!
No other spends today, off to watch the rugby!

colliepirate · 27/02/2016 17:00

Oooh 207! Nice one.

Laska amazing news! So happy for you and your family.

DH randomly got paid today! Phew! We made it without using the overdraft. With £3 to spare. GrinGrin

Wolfcub · 27/02/2016 17:09

Laska what wonderful news.

Wreck congratulations on the new car

£30 on flowers for mum, I went for a smaller arrangement but this one was so lovely and unusual I couldn't not buy it for her

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 27/02/2016 17:40

I've got a 207 Wreck no complaints, so far its been a good car.

Laska link to the boots lovely lovely boots if I ever won the lottery boots would become my obsession Grin

WreckTangled · 27/02/2016 17:47

Ah good the hear girlie! Oh me too I love boots mainly because they're supportive.

I've just come into the dc's room and it's a tip! Sad they're so bloody messy.

SpaceKablooie · 27/02/2016 18:09

Laska, that's great news Smile. I remember reading one of your posts when I started lurking on this thread; it was about everyone here having different spending / saving priorities, but sharing the same goal of being more frugal in everyday life. I've definitely found that checking in here regularly has made me more mindful of spending money. I think that Kondo-ing (ongoing Blush) has helped a lot too.

NSD.

CremeEggThief · 27/02/2016 18:34

Laska, that's amazing progress! Excellent news!

Happy, safe driving, Wreck.

Spends: £30 cut, dry and colour. I'm really happy with it too.
£7.60 travel, as I took DS shopping.
£6.90 café.
£2.79 laundry liquid.
And £69.15 in Primark on my credit card! Got loads for that though and nearly all replacing basics: 5 tee-s hirts and a hoody for DS and skinny jeans, 2 pairs of black leggings, a long sleeved black top, a long sleeved grey top and knickers for me. Also got Vaseline, Nivea handcream, 50p dental floss, 75p 5 pack of toothbrushes and a candle.

Allgunsblazing · 27/02/2016 19:37

It should have been a very spendy day, but it wasn't in the end, we haven't left the house. It will be a spendy day tomorrow though:)
I hate Primark, but I plan to release DD and her best friend in one while I have a coffee or something in a shopping centre. Gawd!

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/02/2016 20:05

NSD.

Wreck I hope you like the car!.

Pointlessfan · 27/02/2016 20:07

Great news laska!
NSD here, still coughing well...

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/02/2016 20:19

Sorry Laska . I hope they get to take their baby home very soon.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 27/02/2016 20:25

Well we have ordered the baby glasses from specsavers you get 2 pairs completely free with NHS voucher I hate them but think would hate any offered really. We also had his huge mop curls cut off to ensure good fit and no hair gets caught in them and he no longer looks like a baby :(

WreckTangled · 27/02/2016 20:31

Aww east Sad I had dd's ankle braces but still have to tell her how cool they are. It's rubbish.

Ds is still in a toddler bed and it's six years old now so we really need to think about getting him a bed. I don't know what to do as he shares with dd. She has a cabin bed, I don't know whether to get ds the same or to get a high sleeper for dd so the cabin bed can go underneath for ds in an L shape. The room is a fairly decent size...

Lovetoknit · 27/02/2016 20:52

I do believe m&s bank is owned by Hsbc - I bank with the latter and they told me that the exchange rate at m&s is better! They are just next door to each other!

well done laska to your granddaughter!! Glad she's so much better. Big worries.

Spend £29 at Morrisons. Dd had her first ballet exam today! Scary stuff. She's only 5!

Spent £120 for ds' birthday party. All done for the year now. £6 on coffee. £5 at charity shop.

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/02/2016 21:47
