I think splitting towels/bedding/colours/whites/ delicates (none, in my case!)and woollens for washing is plenty. We don't need to do it for drying as well.

WreckTangled · 24/02/2016 18:50

Right we have the money to pay off dh's credit card so just the joint one to go. It's a start!

The dr won't let me go on any of the contraception I want because of medical conditions/migraines. So annoying wish there was a magic answer.

MinnieLatte · 24/02/2016 19:01

Advice taken ladies & money DDad gave me from DMums estate for my garden is safely stashed in my ISA not to be touched. DH has had his redundancy package details from work, we'll definitely be fine for a few months. He's also got some interviews lined up & his contacts are all being great.
It sounds weird but I feel very determined to get through this & that we won't flounder- I've starting looking to check we're on the best tariffs for utilities, I've put stuff on eBay & we're going through bills to look where we can start shaving costs first.
Another NSD today thanks to being at work! Perhaps I should work 7days not 5!

colliepirate · 24/02/2016 19:02

Ooooh lovely nails!

Also, I want snow.

15 different settings for a tumble dryer? I just bung it in all together and press on. Shock

Just did the weekly shop. The first shop of every month is always a bit more pricey. This one came to £65 and will arrive on Friday but it comes out of the bank on payday / Monday. So handy!

We have £5 left in the account. Grin £10 in cash. Living life on the edge! Ha.

AdoraBell · 24/02/2016 19:24

Love the nails Envy Grin

Well done on ring fencing the money latte and I'm glad you feel positive about the job situation too.

That's a pain about the contraceptive Wreck

My tumble dryer has two lots of the same settings Confused

CremeEggThief · 24/02/2016 19:33

Thanks. Only £10 for them in my local salon Smile.

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/02/2016 19:37

Well done Collie I'm so pleased for you both.

Wreck Don't be too hard on yourself, you've already paid off loads.

Creme I am jealous, I'm dying to get a dryer but I need to get a floor layed first. You would not believe the state of my hall carpet Blush.

£48 on the cats bladder tablets.
£22 yesterday on a deep fat fryer, oil, kitchen paper, bio powder.

Our mortgage overpayment has gone through. It's only £25 a month but it's a start. It knocks 9 months off the debt.

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/02/2016 19:41

Is it the combined pill ones? I had that too with migraines. Mini pill?.

My mum got banned from the pill after she had me.

WreckTangled · 24/02/2016 19:56

Yeah I've got to take the mini pill, but I was hoping for combined pill, patch or ring so that I could use them back to back for no periods Grin I don't want the coil as I got pregnant on that after months of bleeding, depo months of bleeding and weight gain and the implant I just feel would be more of the same and it's not as easy as stopping taking it. It seems there's no simple solution.

It's cold tonight I've turned the heaters up.

Pointlessfan · 24/02/2016 20:01

Lovely nails!
Spent a bit more than I expected on a fee treats for DH's birthday and a few bits in M&S food that Asda didn't have yesterday. Spent about £28 in total.
Our family have all suddenly realised it's DH's birthday so we're being taken out for dinner on Saturday and Sunday by 2 different lots of parents! Luckily I hadn't bought any food that won't keep or freeze.
Hoping for NSDs the rest of the week although DD is constipated, poor thing so I might stock up on fruit to get things moving! I know pears are good, what else would help?

Wolfcub · 24/02/2016 20:07

Wreck. Have you tried cerelle? That can stop periods altogether
Dh and I are having a proper set to. His team have fked over my team at work and I am pissdd. I know it's technically not his fault but yelling at his boss wouldn't be a great plan

WreckTangled · 24/02/2016 20:11

Pointless lots of water and a few prunes if she would eat them?

Wolf that doesn't sound good?! Yes that's what I'll be going on hope it does stop them.

CremeEggThief · 24/02/2016 20:11

Prunes are the classic natural laxative (I think they're dried plums?), but I think any fruit juice and bananas are also fine. Lucky you, going out for dinner twice at the weekend, Pointless Smile.

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/02/2016 20:13

That sounds awful Wolf. Hard to leave it at work sometimes.

Ememem84 · 24/02/2016 20:13

Today's nails

I can usually, if I get a french tip gel manicure stretch it out to 5 weeks. But they start getting scrappy.

creme snaps! Both lovely dark purple!

Have listed my wellies on eBay.

Well done wreck and lattee

creme I just checked my drier. It has one setting. On.

Ememem84 · 24/02/2016 20:15

pointless poor dd. I'm going to go against the fruit advice.

Apparently fruit, if you're blocked up, can just sit and ferment. Hot water with honey might help.

or strong fresh coffee

WreckTangled · 24/02/2016 20:21

Very nice Em!!

CremeEggThief · 24/02/2016 20:26

Gorgeous, EmSmile. Mine are actually navy, but they look dark purple in the photo.

Pointlessfan · 24/02/2016 20:39

Thanks for the tips, there is no way I'm giving her coffee, she's already like the Duracell bunny!! Warm water with honey is a good idea.

Ememem84 · 24/02/2016 20:55

creme oooh navy. Lovely. I usually get my toes done in navy. Very classy.

AdoraBell · 24/02/2016 21:16

Now I want navy nail varnish now.

Your nails look lovely too Em

CremeEggThief · 24/02/2016 21:17

It's the first time I've chosen navy. I'm usually purple or black in the cold and coral or silver in summer.Smile

CremeEggThief · 24/02/2016 21:20

Go for it, Adora. Embrace the navy! We're going to be accused of usurping style and beauty soon, ladiesGrin.
