Thanks everyone, adds sting does look much better this morning redness has gone down and not so swollen, agree it is ridiculous that bees are still out this time of year! If this is global warming it is a bit worrying!

Collie Shock hope you are o.kay Flowers why did they think appendix?

Should be a quiet day today, plan on doing not much this morning and dd has a party this afternoon. May get on with some present wrapping but we will see....

Unescorted · 06/12/2015 09:35

Collie & MiniMissGirlie hope you both feel better soon.

Ipsos I don't have a mobile phone. I carry my work one in case I break down or have some emergency. It is lovely not being contactable.

The pictures coming out of Cumbria are scary - the main street in Appleby is quite a way from the river. I have a meeting on Thursday in Cumbria - I think it may be cancelled.

SpottyTeacakes · 06/12/2015 09:41

Appleby is where my step brother a sil are Sad

Dh is working again tomorrow so we're not doing anything Sad I'm still in my pjs Shock

Colliejollychristmas · 06/12/2015 10:34

Stabby pains, then sudden vomiting & fever. It was so scary. It was more uncomfortable than my c section. Beginning to feel a bit better now (it wasn't my appendix in the end). Thank goodness!

Received a £12 bonus from Nectar. Really chuffed! As we recently redeemed our entire Nectar account.

lilacclery · 06/12/2015 11:06

Ds has improved. Dh brought in sling & that has made such a difference. He's now napping on me happily.

collie if it's not your appendix what is it?

ipsos · 06/12/2015 11:40

Sorry to hear that Collie. Take is easy there.

Babs is wasn't free numbers. I went 180 minutes over my allowance. Thanks for all the encouragement. I'll think about emailing the ceo.

SpottyTeacakes · 06/12/2015 12:32

Dh is home from work early so we're going to get a Christmas tree this afternoon Smile

Pointlessfan · 06/12/2015 12:35

Hope you are ok collie Flowers
Splashed out on Xmas Radio Times, it's the only time I buy it. Doesn't look like there's much on that I want to watch over Xmas really!

SpottyTeacakes · 06/12/2015 12:37

I always buy it too pointless! Will get it this week.

Ememem84 · 06/12/2015 13:04

Dh is getting stroppy today. Nowtv still hasn't arrived. I'm not even sure we can get it here...

On the plus side. Christmas mugs are back in our house. So am enjoying my first festive cup of tea!

Our steam mop has arrived and have steamed the shit out of the bathroom. It's so clean!!

Waiting paitiently for Christmas tree to be delivered too. Dh has ordered but doesn't know yet when they'll deliver. Hopefully next week at some point. My decorations are lined up and are ready and waiting.

ipsos · 06/12/2015 13:13

I wrote (politely) to the Vodafone CEO just in case it helps. Not to ask for anything but to let him know that the removal of capping is losing him customers.

Ememem84 · 06/12/2015 13:29

Good shout ipsos

I would struggle if I lost the cap on my phone plan. I went over my data limit last month. They text to let me know when I'm at 50% use, 75% and 90%. And then when I go over.

It's good as I know that I need to rein it in a bit maybe halfway through the month.

Am loath to increase my plan though only pay £15 per month and get 1000 texts, 500 minutes and 1gb data. To increase to 5gb will cost me another £20 per month. I've only gone over once in 6 months so am doing ok.

Colliejollychristmas · 06/12/2015 14:19

I felt truly miserable so we went into town (I should be in bed resting) and I bought myself new £10 Loreal foundation and a £9 dark red jumper from New Look. Then went home again to curl up. Also picked up DSs stocking gifts from Mothercare. Didn't have to walk far at all.

They think it's inflammation (much much more than usual) of my gut / intestine or something.

I've never bought the Radio Times but I want to now Xmas Blush Ooooh I'm feeling super Christmassy.

Colliejollychristmas · 06/12/2015 14:31

Watching Kiki's Delivery Service so I'm super happy now. Love Film 4

Girlfriend36 · 06/12/2015 15:07

Collie hope you feel better soon. Where about was the pain? I had gall stones so wondered if it could be something like that?

Tis very quiet here as dd is out at a party, going to head off in a min to pick her up.

Feel knackered today, don't know why as slept fine but feel like could go to bed now and sleep! No time for that nonsense though Wink once have picked dd up will probably go and check out this Christmas fair in town, hoping it won't be too busy though and not too spendy.....

SpottyTeacakes · 06/12/2015 15:35

£32.50 on a Christmas tree. We all nearly got stuck in the mud it was very boggy!

babsmam · 06/12/2015 16:17

Had a lovely weekend. My partner was meant to be working yesterday but the event he was catering was cancelled due to the weather. So he turned up unexpectedly with a load of food that was going to go to waste. My freezer is now full of sea bass and pasta sauce and I have a load of vegetables to make soup with.
He then took me out today and bought me a lovely cosy jacket as part of my Christmas. The weather has been so awful here lately that I feel like I've worn my Trespass jacket every day for months so at least now I'll have a choice.
Unfortunately he then let slip how much he's spent on presents for me and its way more than I can afford. I know it's not about the price and I have chosen his presents carefully to be sure they're things he'll like but I can't help feeling bad about it.

Gosh Luxy that sounds very hard. Is your ex the Dad of your kids? That must be so hard for all of you.

My thing for today sounds so lame in comparison, but just to entertain you all - I wrote to the vodafone ceo address and another customer service rep write back directly. They must have someone on that email address even at 4pm on a Sunday. I guess it is not all fun and laughs at Vodafone right now.

Hang in there luxy.

Take it easy Collie. Well done for spoiling yourself a bit.

Stay dry and feet above water everyone.
