I looooove cameras. Don't have a nice one but it's something I could definitely get back into.

Oh no Girlie, that's annoying. At least a new one will have more pixels wont it?. I remember after dh bought his they released some with double the pixels.

£7 in Tesco. Mil is buying the jeans for me so I will have actual new clothes. No cashback though.

I think the Aldi voucher is no more. I shop at lidl now to spite them.

Pointlessfan · 26/06/2015 21:47

I am soooo excited! MIL just rang up and offered to babysit tomorrow. After a bit of discussion about what we could do with my dodgy leg we decided to go to the cinema - first time in two years!! Going to see Jurassic World but only in 2D as we refused to pay ridiculous £13.50 each plus cost of glasses for 3D dinos! Normal screen is half the price and I am going to stuff myself with 2 years worth of popcorn!
We're also going out for Sunday lunch with friends and I have a work thing on Monday so the next few days are going to be a bit spendy.

Passthecake30 · 26/06/2015 22:37

Spent around £25 over the last couple of days on holiday toiletries...eek! Lots of sun tan lotion, mossie repellent, dioralyte, immodium, bite cream, shower gel, toothpaste.....I'll need a case for toiletries at this rate! Does anyone pack light and buy smellies etc while abroad? I feel like I am going to take lots of stuff "just in case" - eg kids nurofen, am I mad??

Out for dinner tonight. £1.50 bus fare, plus £10 cab home. 41p for DH to pay the bill.

Unfortunately friends turned up after cab was ordered. DH tried to persuade me to stay, saying he'd go on alone, but I'm also tired.

SpottyTeacakes · 27/06/2015 06:30

Pointless have fun!

Pass I always have stuff like that but I decant the shampoo/conditioner/shower gel into smaller bottles as they weigh too much otherwise. I take Imodium, rehydration sachets, painkillers for us and dc, antihistamines, insect repellant, bite cream, savlon and plasters.

We're off to London in a bit to Hyde park. Staying over in a nice hotel Smile

Peppapissinpig · 27/06/2015 08:05

Passthecake I also make the mistake of not packing enough sun cream and having to spend a fortune on buying more on hol!

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/06/2015 08:28

I take medicines etc on breaks, its cheaper and more convenient.

LIDL VOUCHER in the daily express today. £5 off £40 spend.

needastrongone · 27/06/2015 09:12

pass Soon adds up doesn't it, all the holiday related toiletries. Especially with sun tan lotion costing a fortune. I take more than we need, as I would just rather have it there, you are not alone.

Spendy few days, DH is not on board at present, which is always the case when the business is busy.

I took £200 cash out on Thursday. £60 for pony to be shod. £20 to DH for expenses but that will come back. £20 to DS for a present for a friend (only a few parties as they get older with really solid mates), £20 for 'extras' as he's going paintballing for the day, £10 karate last night.

Harumph.... my life costs too much.

Peppapissinpig · 27/06/2015 09:43

Pointless, enjoy your child free time Grin

Peppapissinpig · 27/06/2015 09:44

£38 lidl but I used the £5 voucher and got loads.
£4 aldi for cheesecake and soya milk. Lidl only had sweetened
85p for paper.
£1.50 for antihistamines for dh. Kicked myself for not checking if lidl do them because they do and it's cheaper in there.

I use cheap sunscreen from sainsbos. It's not tested on animals either. SPF 50 is my favourite.

You have got to try lidl deluxe sausages, they are nearly as nice as butcher sausages. £1.75 for six.

I have decided to sell the jeans I'm wearing now (will wash them obvs) and my white top shop baxter ones. They don't fit anymore so I will put it towards a pair that does. Hopefully in the end of summer sales.

NK5BM3 · 27/06/2015 12:16

£52 at Aldi but included crocs for dh and sandals for dd. £3.20 yesterday at local shop for slush puppies. Will be spendy as will go to village fete. Sunny though so not complaining. Grin

AuditAngel · 27/06/2015 12:17

I spent £40 on sun creams and after sun, buying the anti mosquito soltan, as a cousin has just come back from the house we are staying in and they got bitten a lot. I bought more than usual, as I normally buy the kids an ultra water resistant one as they are in and out of the pool all day. Boots had a special offer on, so I gave probably bought more than we need, but I'd rather know the cream hasn't been sat in the sun outside the shop for months.

I normally just take sun cream and contact lens solution, buy shampoo/conditioner/shower gel/deodorant when we get there.

£29 on a haircut, £9.85 in Waitrose, buying hot dog rolls, salad, jacket potatoes, onions, a cake, croissants and pain au chocolat.

girliefriend · 27/06/2015 12:22

Hi all thankyou so much for camera suggestions, I think this one looks o.kay - what do you lot think good camera or not?

Today should be fairly low spend (unless I buy that camera Wink)

babsmam · 27/06/2015 13:22

Dear lord.

£50 on two skate helmets. It was more but the guy rounded it Down, library for loads of books instead of waterstone. Lunch in weatherspoons £13. Skate park this afternoon will be about £8

JamHoneyMarmite · 27/06/2015 13:37

15 pounds in fabric shop - but will get two dresses for DD from that, and it included a new zip to mend one of my summer dresses.
