That is super organised Spotty!

SpottyTeacakes · 31/05/2015 20:46

Well it beats wasting £10 on a novelty mug and some chocolates Grin it'll be great to look back on Smile not sure I've got any recent photos of them together though so will have to try and get some tomorrow.

Lovely idea, Spotty Smile.

£11.20 travel for DS and I. £8.33 in Pret on lunch for us both. £17.50 on a bracelet and keyring in Fat Face and £20.90 in Primark, on pajamas for DS, socks and Vaseline. Total: £57.93.

Pointlessfan · 31/05/2015 21:29

That is a lovely idea for Father's Day. DH will probably receive some nice beer, as will his father and probably mine as well. We're not that creative. I even received nice beer for mother's day!!

babsmam · 31/05/2015 21:33

That is a good idea spotty.

Going to restart my fitness membership tomorrow in my half year resolution and not wanting to be fat and forty. How much weight loss and toning can I do in 7 days?:-D

babsmam · 31/05/2015 21:34

Oh and it's £32.
Obviously losing my mind in old age too as forgot point of the thread

Passthecake30 · 31/05/2015 22:34

babsmam , 40 next week? Anything planned? I had mine in Dec, though I put that I am 36 in the gym machinesGrin

An actual NSD today. Wow.

babsmam · 01/06/2015 06:40

Yes pass certainly am. Going to the Good food show minus dc. Not sure about the actual day as dh is working

babsmam · 01/06/2015 06:42

Pass Grin not sure I'm ready to write 40 down yet either

babsmam · 01/06/2015 06:43

Happy half year everyone. Any witty people started a new thread?

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/06/2015 06:53

I thought this was the june thread Blush

SpottyTeacakes · 01/06/2015 06:55

Let's just ask MNHQ to add June into the title, seems a waste otherwise?

lilacclery · 01/06/2015 07:19

Great idea spotty I'll post here so!
Overspent at Aldi as I went in hungry with an extra child in tow so instead of dd walking alongside me they were wandering around driving me crazy now €15 over budget but no trip to butchers needed & probably will last into next week as well.

Other spends €3 on sweets at their day out because we had nothing in to bring with us!

Today having a day out with children & au pair, will bring along snacks & eat brekky at home but we will have lunch out. Going to put Bolognese in slow cooker for our return.

lilacclery · 01/06/2015 07:20

Still didn't find fob for account my wages went into by mistake so wages still safe!

ItalianWiking84 · 01/06/2015 07:43

Nice idea for Father's Day spotty
I always give my dad crime books, he loves them and a friend of mine works in a book store so I get a 33% discount Smile

ItalianWiking84 · 01/06/2015 07:44

June is also going to be expensive
Granddad birthday
My birthdays
dd s baptism
Our wedding
Ouch

babsmam · 01/06/2015 07:50

Sounds good to me. Very frugal use of threads Grin

babsmam · 01/06/2015 07:51

Also that might of been me being premature and waffling on about June

blueteapot · 01/06/2015 08:36

Morning all. Haven't even thought about fathers day here yet, lovely idea :) it's my dads 60th this weekend so need to think of something small from the dc. We are giving him some euros as they are going on holiday to celebrate. Hopefully a lsd as still no car. DD was up all night for the second night running with a cold, DS came into the room at 6.45 up for the day with his fire engine book that makes 'nee naw nee naw' noises (remind me to evict all noisy books from his bedroom) and woke her just as we finally drifting off. So we are having a coffee and cbeebies day and I am trying to keep chirpy lol!

Just logged in to check my account and it's direct debit day lol, ouch. Don't you just hate it when there are things pending taking the available balance lower and you can't remember what they are. A few NSDs wouldn't go amiss here! X

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 01/06/2015 11:33

I'm 30 in a few weeks time. Not happy at all, I so do not feel like a real adult yet! Grin spent £60 on bras but £30 of that will be refunded as one was horrible in real life. £33 on TOMS and £5 on insoles in hope my nuclear feet won't Make this pair unwearable...

babsmam · 01/06/2015 11:46

Nope still haven't grown up here either. Sometimes a TV day is what is required blue. And it's cheap!
55 in evil sainsbury and 32 gym pass. Further evil body attack

blueteapot · 01/06/2015 11:52

My lovely mum has come and extracted DS to toddler group so DD and I are hanging out upstairs watching TV in bed... Bliss! I was 30 in November past, although I feel more like 40 ;) always take enjoyment in the fact that DH will always hit these milestones 3 years before me and I get to be young for a few years lol ;)

northender · 01/06/2015 13:28

£21 on a top up shop today. No other spends planned.

Need to have a think about Father's Day, great idea Spotty

Ouch Italian June sounds spendy.

YetAnotherHelenMumsnet · 01/06/2015 13:49

We've changed that title a wee bit for you now, gang. Keep up the good work! BTW I want to recommend Lidl ground coffee, the double pack, it's £4.49 but sometimes cheaper. The AMOUNT of people who have asked if it's Lavazza Gold... Wink
