You never know what they've eaten while out though collie. I suspect quite a few houses round here feed asbo cat unwittingly. Next doors cat comes in ours if no ones looking. He's really good at licking the plates clean though so I don't mind.

laska Your hair looks in very good condition. It suits you very well.

I have a few greys coming through underneath and one bright white at the back that's a bit coarse. I'm pissed off I didn't get a mallen (sp?) streak like my dad. I had aspirations to look like Capucine but it is not to be.

£7 Japanese Acer in Aldi
£1.09 compost to plant it in
£1.99 chicken for tonight
37p for dh to dab clove oil on his sore tooth that I'm going to have get removed at some point.
£4 stamps
£60 to paint the bonnet of my car
£100ish to service the car.

£2.53 refund cheque off birds eye for there "try me free" offer.

Peppapissinpig · 04/06/2015 16:50

£45 in Aldi
£5 in Greggs including latte and Belgian bun

Pointlessfan · 04/06/2015 16:55

Laska you look amazing - I love your hair. I'm 35 and just recently noticed a fair few grey hairs. It's becoming more unmanageable at the same time. I'm trying to grow out a bob so I can tie it up.
NSD. Going to do meal plan/shopping list tonight.
Just got home to find Pointless cat has been sick too!

SpottyTeacakes · 04/06/2015 17:02

Nsd - 4th in a row

Tomos won't be as have to pay the after school club.

Fridge is looking pretty bare so will have to do a shop Saturday I think. Dd has 2 friends from school here, they have eaten quite a bit!!

They are now playing out and probably annoying the neighbours no end so I can enjoy some mn time!!

girliefriend · 04/06/2015 19:06

strike out fail Sad

Laska42 · 04/06/2015 19:54

I was a bit scared to come back ! but thanks for all your kind comments.
Actually right now my hair is a bit shorter even than inthose pics, but bythe time i go on hol again (just over 2 weeks!! Grin) it will be about that length, (which a few snall dark roots! which I prefer as a look on holiday ..)

Had a real frugal fail today as I was nearly home when the fuel alarm came on in my car (darn stupid.. i meant to get petrol and forgot) so i ended up having to buy £10 worth at our local really expensive rural garage as i wasnt confident id have enough to get me back the 13 miles into town in the morning ..£1.26 ltr!! for unleaded Shock this is why i never go there I probably would have had enough , but didnt want to risk it.. so must fill car up tomorrow ..

and I forgot my lunch this morning (duh!) so £4.86 spent on that .. Angry grrr...

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/06/2015 21:24

Well the water bill has landed in my emails, £165 as opposed to £130 normally because of all the water the turf had because we laid it before a mini dry spell.

I think it's best to lay the rest in winter, even if it doesn't rain it wont be drying out at a rate of knots.

Laska42 · 04/06/2015 21:35

hmm Hmm so been surfing mumsnet and have ended up spending £25 on ebay on 4 hammam towels for my holiday (fed up of taking big beach towels) .. ... However I think they will be good ,

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/06/2015 21:51

They are just like linen towels. They'll dry very quickly too and not leave fluff in the washing machine for 6 months.

TheseSoles · 04/06/2015 22:11

Hi MrsD!

Thanks to whoever mentioned ASDA having cheap/expensive catfood, I've done an online shop and ordered a tonne. Not sure if cashback will track because can't remember if I've done a shop with them before! We are miles from Asda so glad we're in their delivery range anyway.

Done well with keeping costs low this week, DH managed to fix our oven himself with a new part which saved loads.

Laska42 · 04/06/2015 22:13

Thats what im hoping fluffy and light ( going easyjet) read a few rave reviews and they sounded just what i need..

TK Maxx had loads of beach towels in , but not that cheap ( i often find they arent really) and far too heavy .. Our old ones are over 20 years old!! I only know that because we were looking at pictures of Ds when he was a small toddler the other day and there he is on the beach with the same towels weve been using ever since!! (now that is fruga,l don't you think? Grin..)

Anyway, thought it was time for some new ones..I wont be throwing the old ones out though.. you need thick towels for British beaches!

Passthecake30 · 04/06/2015 22:33

Gorgeous hair laska, wish I was brave. ....I've had the same hair since I was 8 or something. ..

£4.50 on a lush lunch in the work canteen (oops my salad is in the work fridge still) and £20 on a massage.

Sorted out childcare vouchers, £80ish a month saved.

AdoraBell · 05/06/2015 00:42

Glad your GP has advised you To take things one at a time Collie it's easy To take on too much and become overwhelmed

Hope colliecat continúes To be Well.

Spent £22 Today. DD1 wants school dinner again tomoz, that'll be another 3 quid. I'm only letting her because I'm too stressed and tired To resist.

babsmam · 05/06/2015 06:41

£28 on dog food and will be about £30 ish in morrisons as have a threshold points voucher. Will get fresh stuff and weekends pic nic stuff.

SpottyTeacakes · 05/06/2015 06:44

Sorry things are so stressful adora Thanks

Should be Nsd.

Pointlessfan · 05/06/2015 06:52

That was me who mentioned the cat food in Asda, pleased they are still doing it, I'm off there later to stock up!

AuditAngel · 05/06/2015 06:56

NSD yesterday.

DD2 has been given a starring role for their forthcoming cabaret. The teacher was going to give it to an older girl, but she's left. I am pleased, but all I was thinking was, damn, another costume to buy! They are doing some Abba songs and they have a grown up Abba, little Abba (including DS) and baby Abba (including DD2).

Really they needed a blonde child, so they have given me blonde hair scrunchies to put over her own hair Grin I may buy some sun-in and send her out to play.

Also have to secure another pair of white dungarees (used before) for DS's costume. Should be £10

Need to do some food shopping, need packed lunch for Sunday, also need to buy lunch for today. I've managed not to go out this week during the day at all.

AuditAngel · 05/06/2015 06:58

Adora the school DS starts in September has compulsory school lunches. DD2 will get free lunches (as in KS1)
