Afternoon.

ipsos It must be hard catering for all those diets, I don't envy you.

Whose DS is doing the bike ride? I have read the thread, flipped the page and forgotten Smile. Amazing, how's he doing now?

fluffy - I am sorry the hotel isn't good and the Ipad is broken. Not ideal, either circumstance. Have you managed to at least see the sights?

northender Your friends wedding sounds lovely. A 'big' wedding isn't for everyone, we went to Sri Lanka by ourselves and got married. I didn't want the fuss and politics.

DD has been dropped off at a pony racing camp that she is doing this week. I've given her £20 cash 'just in case'. Then spent £28 in Aldi, but that's my shop for the week.

Dinner tonight is leftovers. Some minestrone soup and some bolognaise for DH and DS, I am not very hungry so will snack or have a Nutribullet smoothie.

£245 to the vets Shock

Going to have to move some money around to cover it until insurance pay up.
Girlie cat is going back to the vets tomos (4th day in a row!!) to have everything done under sedation as they couldn't do the tests they wanted to do today, if it is feline leukaemia she will be PTS Sad

My brother is being left in charge as we are off to London in the morning, not sure if it will be a good distraction from the cat or just make it harder than we are not at home.

Need to put some tea on think it might be scrambled eggs and beans as not in the mood for cooking.

Pointlessfan · 25/05/2015 17:44

Our oven just stopped working Sad. We have a double oven luckily but of course it's the big fan oven part that's gone wrong not the little tiny one that is only big enough to cook a pizza. I'm hoping it's still under guarantee.
This month has been horrendously expensive and we haven't replaced the wash basin yet.
Off camping for 2 nights tomorrow, first time with DD. Hope the weather is ok, I'm worried she'll be too cold.

SpottyTeacakes · 25/05/2015 17:47

Where are you going pointless? Meant to be quite warm this way (South).

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/05/2015 18:05

that poor cat girlie, I really hope it's something cureable.

unescorted your ds sounds a little legend.

£5 entry to Hampton court palace
£8 parking at Hcp
£15 Burger King on the M40
£235 on the hotel Hmm

Yes we enjoyed the palace Need, unfortunately dhs dislike of London is compounded so we will never go again.

nk can you pm me the name of the company that fixed yours please?.

I'm going to try and sync it. iTunes is always easy to use on a laptop isn't it?

North unfortunately - south Peak District. Only 90 mins from home if it's a disaster though!

CremeEggThief · 25/05/2015 19:30

Aw GirlieSad. (Hugs)

£18.something in Lidl, on my card. Spent all afternoon cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and mopping and four loads of laundry. I don't plan on moving off the sofa 'til bedtime now.

babsmam · 25/05/2015 19:32

Well the national trust place was chocca block. I've never seen it so busy. Lucky it's big enough to make it ok once inside.

3.90 on ice cream and that's it today.

Need more fruit and yoghurt. tomorrow

babsmam · 25/05/2015 19:32

Fingers crossed about the cat. Bless it.

Poor cat, hope she makes it girlie. I had to put down a very ill kitten (he just wasn't going to survive poor thing) and it felt so awful, but it was the right thing to do.

Laska42 · 25/05/2015 21:29

sorry to ear about your pusscat girlie they are such part of the family..
Id be so sad if something happenned to our raggedy-eared pussboy .. I hope the news is better tomorrow.

Well, I've hardly moved from the house/garden since Friday! (just to take Dh down to the ferry today and pop into Co-op on the way back) but have had a great weekend.. We moved here because of the huge garden , but it takes lots of time, and we've been at it all weekend ! However its looking pretty good now, and ive planted on and sown lots of veggie seeds.

Can't believe its only 4 weeks until our holiday (Pelion in Greece, its so fab there). This is always a busy time for us so lots to do to get garden and green house ready so we can leave it for a few weeks(we have a friend who comes and keeps it going).. But ill also be running down the freezer from now on as i always do , so for the 3 weeks we are away i dont have to worry about the possibility of losing food should we get a power cut (does happen here sometime as we have overhead electricity) ..

Spent only £ 3.66 inthe co op today on veggies and milk , and have made roasted carrot and pepper soup , plus a tomato/ chorizo sauce , so thats me for the week (will have the sauce with roasted cauli .. . I do really need to lose a bit of weight before I get the bikini on !)

Did my YNAB will be £42 over budget it seems for month after phone bill comes out Sad but thats not too bad. June/july should be good months as we will be away and have our euros already ..Will have to buy petrol this week (but Dh gave me £60 so shouldnt need to use the bank account until Payday (friday) Wink

Good luck collie I hate getting nervous but always get it!

NK it was me. We didn't stay on site we stayed at an associated hotel with a free shuttle it was walkable though.

Unescorted · 26/05/2015 07:24

need it is my boy . The decided yesterday to cut the very top loop out and make it 440 miles, because he wouldn't have got back for school on Monday. He is loving it - you can see the pictures on Twitter #HT550. I started a thread to get a bit of support on twitter but it has died a death.... mine always do. It is a shame because they are all awesome athletes and the support when they log on to Twitter means a lot - the difference between finishing or not in some cases.

Collie good luck for today.

He is doing really well & loving it. No encouragement needed - he is obsessed with his bike & riding. He is a really talented rider - No way I would have let him do it if he wasn't technically capable of getting around.

They are sleeping (Ullerpool campsite last night)- the front runners aren't though. They are they are bonkers...

NK5BM3 · 26/05/2015 09:03

Hi spotty, ipsos - thanks. Spotty do you remember what the name of the hotel was and which website you used?

We are going this august. I know it won't be the cheapest period but I don't have much choice. It's bad enough I don't have time off during half term and my kids have no time to chill.
