Not an NSD Today as I bought lots of things to try and get me through until this pain subsides - bovril to mix with hot water, miso soup to drink with. Bits drained out, some strained tomato soup, jellies, multivitamins. Have asked DH to pick up some protein powder to mix up into meal replacement shakes with soya milk.

Thanks to everyone for their kind advice Smile not long to go now until I see the GE, my appointment is very early on Friday.

My cousin got a emergency op for gallbladder where it was hidden and it was pure luck the doc discovered it (don't wanna scare you but definitely think you should get it trough ally checked out

Badvoc123 · 05/11/2014 15:35

Yes - my (rather large( stone was lodged at the entrance of the duct.
It was awful.

needastrongone · 05/11/2014 15:48

Ouch to gallstones. Poor you MissA

LSD ish.

DH has complained that we don't have the nice M&S fresh fruit juice in EVER now we are being frugal. I have relented and bought some, 3 large cartons for £5 and some linseed and soya bread, rather than the 'cheap' crap I apparently bought last week Smile

3 birthday cards, cards are expensive.

Some cheap coloured paper for the DC to make poppies from, we have bught DH a tower of london poppy for his birthday on Friday, but we can give him it, as it's obviously still there Smile

Chilli and wraps for tea, done a cheap online Morrisons shop too.

Looks like DH is going to be away for the next two weeks, pissed that he never says no to his clients Sad

needastrongone · 05/11/2014 15:48

'can't give him the poppy obviously!

AdoraBell · 05/11/2014 15:50

I really hope they can do something simple and quick for you MissA

Congrats Girlie that's fantástico.

Had a Lowe- ish spend day yesterday, greengrocers didn't have what I wanted so will spend again Today. Just over £10 yesterday and I anticipate about £8-10 Today if I Get honey. Tried a different place yesterday and they wanted 50% moré for the same sizeShock

I don't count what DH spends unless it's something like vet or repair bills. Need To pin him down for DDs Christmas presents soon.

574ejones · 05/11/2014 15:57

£3 in Waitrose on seeded bread flour and nibbles for Xmas. My new bread maker arrived today and the first loaf looks lovely. Just hope it lasts longer than the previous one.

need I noticed that charity shops do nice (new) birthday cards for just £1. Would have never thought to look but was waiting around whilst donating something.

girliefriend · 05/11/2014 15:58

MissA before I had my gallbladder removed I was in constant discomfort which worsened to varying degrees of agony when I ate. Do you find the pain is worse if you have 'fatty' foods? I couldn't eat anything with fat in without setting it off Sad Also what painkillers are you on? I had everything from paracetamol to pethidine!!

Yy to getting another scan.

I have done a Morrisons shop which was about £50, it is the start of their spend £40 a week for 6 weeks and get £25 off deal. Can't decide if this is a good idea or not....

Todays shop was more than usual as I bought 6 chicken breasts (2 trays) for £7 and 2 big tubs of celebrations for £7 as well - the idea being I keep them back for Christmas fat chance Wink

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/11/2014 16:00

Refill the juice cartons with Aldi fresh juice. See if he notices.

Grin

Dh never notices.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 05/11/2014 16:13

Met a friend for tea n cake today at waitrose she treated us to cake.

If u r near one it's worth checking Halloween stock as I got crisps, cakes, cupcakes baking sets, choc lollies n paper plates greatly reduced some had 2016 bbe dates!! They also had decorations n few little dressing up bits like make up n gloves. I paid 25-45p for most bits I got.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 05/11/2014 16:18

Spotty debenhams customer service is crap bearing in mind their main competitor is John Lewis whose customer service is great u think they would try better I was a loyal online debenhams shopper especially in sale n family always brought me gift cards for bday n Xmas however some bad economy in past 18mths n I barely use them unless I have to or a fab bargain- they are soooo rude on the phone.

SpottyTeacakes · 05/11/2014 16:21

East I fb'd them and they issued the refund straight away. The bloke on the phone was shit and I had a right go Blush anyway they didn't ask what I returned and refunded the whole lot Grin

MissA I hope you get a diagnosis this has been going on forever.

M&s do the best juice lovely flavours without added refined sugars.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 05/11/2014 16:25

Love it fluffy!! We have aldi fresh Apple n mango juice 99p litre n nicer than marks Spencer one. I also buy the Apple n raspberry 69p litre but that's from concentrate in the chiller cabinet.

I love fresh juice n since being pregnant drink loads of cold drinks so have been drinking alot juice especially early on when had nausea n always brought the 3 for £5 marks Spencer ones but much prefer the aldi fresh 99p one's so maybe worth doing what fluffy has suggested :)

Collie just adding one super cheap meal will reduce your weekly shop. Our super cheap eats are beans on toast or with jackets, tuna pasta or plain pasta and sauce.

needastrongone · 05/11/2014 16:53

GrinGrinGrin at the juice trick!!

Omelette's are a cheap meal too.

Ginger parkin sounds delicious, I shall Google the recipe.

ejones = thanks, I hadn't thought about charity shops for cards. They are stupidly priced aren't they?

I'm doing the Morrisons online shop for 6 weeks, but I do use them anyway for my delivery, so it's no great difference. I have had 2 x£10 off so far since September.

needastrongone · 05/11/2014 16:54

Omelettes, damn phone.

fuzzpig · 05/11/2014 17:13

I really really wish DS ate eggs. Would save a lot and he would be healthier I reckon!

So I see some flyers are near my neck of the woods (Crawley) flying meetup one day maybe? But who would dare host with all our messy houses :o

fuzzpig · 05/11/2014 17:15

Oh bollocks ignore that last paragraph I was getting confused between this thread and the flylady one sorry :o

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 05/11/2014 17:20

SpottyTeacakes · 05/11/2014 17:25

Ds, dd and I don't like eggs most annoying as my parents have chickens!

Passthecake30 · 05/11/2014 18:08

Signed up for the tesco orchard dairy iingredients range programme....exciting stuff!

£22.80 getting to work and £1 on croissants. £16.50 on toner. ..lasts ages and there were 5(!) freebies today (clinique) so I'll ebay them and get at least a fiver back....

Singmetosleepzzz · 05/11/2014 18:16

need do you have a 'card factory' near you? They are super cheap, highly recommended - sometimes they do 10 cards for a pound.
Spent 2.48 on chocolate today - my daughter fell down a wet stone step and whacked her head badly - chocolate for the shock.
