Ellis I've not done an online shop with tesco for weeks despite being a regular and they haven't sent me anything Angry I really thought they would as they always used to when I went on holiday so didn't have a shop for two weeks!

Ellisisland · 02/04/2014 11:19

That's weird spotty cos I used them once didn't for a few weeks then they sent me a £20 off plus free delivery voucher so I used them again. I don't know how they work it out but I only go online with the shop that gives vouchers!

ShoopShoop · 02/04/2014 12:04

Delurking to say I hope Adora is ok after the earthquake news...

Also, thanks for the new thread MissA. I was on a few of the threads last year and have been following since January again. We're hoping to buy a new house in the nexy couple of months to have been frualeering with a vengeance. I've managed to clear my huge overdraft and also close a CC that had a fairly chunky balance on it too.

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/04/2014 12:11

Her Internet connection is probably down. All we can do is hope they are ok.

ItalianWiking84 · 02/04/2014 12:19

Hope you and your family are safe Adora....

springbright · 02/04/2014 12:51

Positive thoughts for adora xx

SpottyTeacakes · 02/04/2014 13:04

Sorry if I'm being thick but wasn't Adora's last post posted after it happened? I do hope so it must be so scary.

LizLemonOut · 02/04/2014 13:20

Happy birthday to audit

Hope you're all OK, Adora

£10 on petrol today

AdoraBell · 02/04/2014 13:29

All okay here in Santiago, we didn't even feel anything just outside if the Capitol - which is very Confused given the magnitude.

I'm out now so will catch up after my norty Starbucks breakfast a £4 later.

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/04/2014 13:36

Phew! I think I'd have a treat as well....

northender · 02/04/2014 15:05

Glad you're ok adora.

NSD so far today and it should stay that way. We're going to stay with dh's family in Devon next weekend so am trying to run down our cupboard and freezer stocks here and spend as little as possible to give us a little extra in the pot for the trip. Hot pot in the slow cooker for tonight's tea.

AdoraBell · 02/04/2014 15:26

Spotty not thick at all, we're a few hours behind and I'm currently confused as to how many because your clocks changed and ours were supposed to but didn'tConfused

Anyway, it's now 11.26 am and I'm heading home to email family & friends as my phone won't let me.

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/04/2014 15:30

We're 4hrs ahead of you then.

NSD because I took a codeine & was too fuzzy headed to spend money.

AdoraBell · 02/04/2014 17:20

Thanks Fluffy Grin got my head around it now. On paper we are GMT -4 but because our clocks Go back when your's Go forwrads, an vive versa, we should be either 3 or 5 hours behind dependíng on the time of year. After the last big quake 4 years ago the powers that be delayed the change and since then it kind of hasn't settled back. Few weeks ago the clocks on all the technologia changed automatically, but the Govermnet said No, not yet. Confused Most people were caught out.

Spent about £15 on fruit, ham, easter chocs.

Hope you feel better Fluffy.

AdoraBell · 02/04/2014 17:23

SpottyTeacakes · 02/04/2014 17:31

Passthecake30 · 02/04/2014 17:45

44p on 2 bananas in the shop near work. Feeling proud. plus £20.95 getting there

insideleg · 02/04/2014 17:45

Hi everyone, hope all is well. Spent 4 pounds in nero today, got short changed and felt awkward asking but a fiver is a fiver! In previous times i may not have even boticed but that ten pound note has been in my purse for nearly a week!
DH birthday next week and we can't afford to eat out but have offered to cook whatever he wants. Well I can announce that my DH is a weirdo! Rather than think of a 'meal' he has decided he wants a veritable banquet of weird items that don't go together!

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/04/2014 17:52

Well it's his birthday & he can dip his gherkins in the tiramisu if he wants to. Sirloin steak & chips is the go-to celebration meal in this house.

insideleg · 02/04/2014 18:04

Well it is almost that odd!

SpottyTeacakes · 02/04/2014 18:09

We're going to be on holiday for my birthday this year, and dd's (same time not two holidays Wink)

ilovepicnmix · 02/04/2014 19:22
