AdoraBell · 01/04/2014 20:58

CremeEggThief · 01/04/2014 21:16

Isn't this thread moving fast already!

£2.50 for DS' s breakfast club.

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/04/2014 21:18

Usually by April it's tumbleweed on these threads.

AdoraBell · 01/04/2014 21:41

Spring is Jamie's store cupboard lentil soup on his website? And is it nice?

TIA

AuditAngel · 01/04/2014 21:56

Whoops, just posted on the March thread by accident (despite posting on here this morning)

£13 on cakes for work for my birthday but included a £3 meal deal lunch as had to eat on the run. £2.80 for parking but can reclaim from work.

Need to do the grocery shopping (from the weekend, I was too busy)

ilovepicnmix · 01/04/2014 22:04

Welcome all newcomers.

Well done spotty I'm hoping DS will get some eggs this year and I'll have to help him out, for his sake of course.

37p on crumpets.

I'm helping a friend out on Sunday by doing a days work for her. I'll get about 50 which isn't much but as it's nothing like my normal job I'm hoping that it won't seem like actual work. Takes the pressure off a bit till payday.

ilovepicnmix · 01/04/2014 22:06

Happy birthday audit Thanks

Happy birthday audit

adora I saw the recipe on mumsnet whilst searching for frugal recipes! I've adapted to what I had in store but have basically chopped 4 carrots into small cubes, diced 4 sticks of celery, cooking away with a packet of broth mix (lentils, split peas and barley). I might add stock tomorrow depending on hoe it turns out. It's a first for me!

I've just returned from night out feeling frugally virtuous. Shared a pizza and drank table water - 4.50 Smile

AuditAngel · 01/04/2014 22:30

Tesco shop at about £90, I wouldn't mind so much but there doesn't seem to be much!

Checking in for April. NSD.

AdoraBell · 02/04/2014 02:39

Thanks Spring, will give that a Go soonSmile glad you had a nice, and frugal, evening.

Happy birthday Audit

Got some free food at a friend's this evening, classmate of DD1, they have a small veg patch in the new garden. She gave me a bag of toms and chiles. I'm giving her cacti as soon as her garden is ready To plant them. Ours just keep on sprouting fresh plants.

Still doing school runs at £2.55 Per. morning. Car needs a service but will have to wait another week or so.

SpottyTeacakes · 02/04/2014 07:37

Hoping for a nsd today Smile

Need to meal plan for next week going to go to lidl suppose I can't do it until tomorrow when they release their offers...

themoneyone · 02/04/2014 08:48

I have 3 days of work ahead with DC in nursery, so am aiming for 3 NSDs (unless I need milk - I'm allowed this, but no extras Grin). The challenge is on...

pancakesfortea · 02/04/2014 08:51

Adorabell - hope you are all safe this morning.

FantaSea · 02/04/2014 10:14

Happy birthday audit Cake

Just 99p on onions so far today - I am making vegetarian pasta sauce tonight and have run out.

I am planning on doing a Tesco online order today - I have an eCoupon for £15 off if I spend £60 but it says it is off the first order. I did the online grocery shopping about 12 years ago but haven't done it since so I am hoping I will be a new customer.

SpottyTeacakes · 02/04/2014 10:18

Fanta you always use a different email address, not that I've done that with sainsburys, tesco and ocado oh no not me...

FantaSea · 02/04/2014 10:29

Spotty that's a great idea - thank you Smile .

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/04/2014 10:32

Is there cashback on a new customer on tescos if you register with topcashback & order on a pc/laptop?

FantaSea · 02/04/2014 10:36

Fluffy this was a paper coupon which I got instore with my receipt when I was doing my normal shopping. It doesn't say anything about registering with topcashback but I haven't gone onto the Tesco site yet.

SpottyTeacakes · 02/04/2014 10:39

Topcashback are doily £5.25 but not sure if you can use it with the £15 off voucher?

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/04/2014 10:40

You can try, if they don't honour the cashback you've not lost anything it'll just come up as cashback declined.

Ellisisland · 02/04/2014 10:47

I hop between all the online supermarkets. If you sign up do one delivery then move on to the next one after a few weeks you normally get a voucher again from the first one to get you back again

Should be a NSD here. Am working loads at the moment and am swamped. It's the first time I have been full time since DS was born a couple years ago and am finding it a struggle at the moment to keep on top of everything but on the bright side being so busy means no time to spend anything !
