Virtual hospital beds presumably means they send you an oximeter and tell you to zoom them once you can't breathe?

No help for hospitals or wards just well done us less in ICU. That be comfort when you in ambulance for 48h in carpark.

Why not even plans for those hospitals in red alert to provide Red Cross/St johns/army etc doing basic care on wards. Not enough nurses give treatment never mind assist going to loo or having a drink. There must be something they can do. Just had nurse on radio saying she on ward 2 nurses last night supposed to be 10. Must be horrific being a patient when you can’t do much for yourself.

Bring in the army is bollocks.

They are people that are either working full time in army hospitals or deployed or more likely work full time for the NHS and do their army stuff on the side. There is no magic doctors and nurses to bring in

Yes, that is exactly what they do! I've just got off the phone to a very snooty woman who told me to go back and backfill all the data from the days I've missed (due to being knackered having Covid and a houseful of guests). We requested the damn thing so we could keep an eye on my CEV father who is infected (we all are). Not so they could ride me like a fucking pony for meaningless data for days on end
