PCR result waiting time

I know this has probably been done to death and I’m sorry, but does anyone mind filling me with a glimmer of hope regarding the waiting time for PCR results. It’s just come up to 24 hours now for DS’s result which I know probably isn’t that long, I just wish I could stop checking my phone every five minutes!

Myself and my daughter had tests at a drive through centre yesterday at 10.30am. Her results came in today at 9am (negative), still waiting for mine 🤷🏼‍♀️

Just got my negative now. So for SW London drive through PCR on 8th December took 21hrs for positive, 24hrs for negative.

I'm on 25 hours now. Previous ones all came back within 16 hours. Pissing me off as if I don't get it by the end of the day I can't work tomorrow and I won't get paid if I don't work (zero hours contract).

Still waiting for DS postal test, posted at lunchtime Monday.

Royal Mail initially sent to the wrong DO, so it wasn't delivered to the processing place until 11pm Tuesday, but I was still hoping to have a result by now. DS is in an exam year and missing lots of valuable class time this week.

Last week I had a drive-thru PCR take 12 hours. It was positive. My husbands negative test taken at the same time took 24 hours.

My husband has since taken another PCR at the same place on Tuesday morning after a positive lateral flow and still not had results over 48 hours later.
